Won’t be using pharmulous ANYMORE…
Not using pharmulous any more after being a good loyal customer for quite a few months. I had a faulty injection pen and they argued with me to say that it had injected in me.I could tell it hadn’t worked by in a few days my suppression returning and the marker on the pen not moving down. They didn’t offer to replace the pen and offered a £10 discount if I was to re order. They also take days to reply back to your e mails and I feel it’s just about the money and not about the customer care. So hence going with someone else now and I definitely will not be recommending pharmulous.

We'd like to provide some context and clarify a few points. Your initial enquiry to our clinical team was not to report a faulty pen, but to ask whether your dose had been successfully administered, as you were understandably unsure after completing the injection. You sent us a photograph of the pen for review, and team carefully assessed the image before discussing it with you over the phone.
Based on the position of the plunger shown in the photograph, the pen appeared to have dispensed the dose as intended. For your safety, we advised that a second injection should not be taken, as administering another dose without evidence that the first had failed could have resulted in an unintended double dose. Patient safety will always be our priority.
You also mentioned that you did not feel the same response from this injection as you had experienced previously. While we understand why this caused concern, it's important to note that individual responses to treatment can vary from dose to dose. Factors such as hydration, food intake, activity levels, injection site, and natural variation in how the body responds can all influence how noticeable the effects feel. A difference in perceived effect alone is not evidence that a pen has failed to administer medication.
During our conversation, you later informed us that the pen had unfortunately been dropped and broken. We completely appreciate how frustrating this was. However, because the device was damaged after use, we were unable to inspect it further or determine whether there had been any mechanical fault. Based on the information available, including the photograph taken before the pen was damaged, we had no evidence to suggest that the dose had not been administered correctly.
Although we were unable to provide a replacement under these circumstances, we still wanted to help where we could and therefore offered a goodwill discount towards your next order. This was intended as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for your custom, despite there being no evidence that the pen itself was faulty.
We're genuinely sorry that you came away feeling that we prioritised the financial aspect over your care, as that was never our intention. Throughout our conversations, our focus was on providing safe clinical advice, explaining our assessment transparently, and ensuring you did not inadvertently administer a second dose.
We always welcome feedback, as it helps us improve our service, and we're disappointed that this experience has led you to lose confidence in us after six months as a valued customer. We sincerely wish you all the very best with your ongoing treatment and thank you again for the trust you placed in Pharmulous.

Pharmacist video consult
I paid £10 for a pharmacist video consult to discuss weight maintenance on Mounjaro and spoke with Marina Fakhouri - she was extremely professional, kind and supportive and clearly knows a lot about GLP1s. I feel in very safe hands with Pharmulous - prices are very competitive and the product always arrives promptly and well packaged.

Things have got so much better over time with ordering meds. The phone lines can still take a while to get through though. Delivery with Royal Mail is always the best

Weight loss journey
I started my weight loss journey in October 2025. When I did my research for whom to chose for my journey, Pharmulous was at the top of my list.
I’m happy I went with them, because the process from the start up until now has been really good. Form the first assessment , the questions, the checks and thoroughness, to date I could not me more happy with them.
Yes, they help you through your journey, but no, they won’t prescribe you the medicine ‘just because’. Which has reassured me, thorough out the entire process.
Completing all the questions each month, being prompted to do the weight checks and to speak to professionals (thank you to my doctor, she is amazing) reassured me, once again, I made the right decision.
