Gemma was brilliant in helping my wife and myself through the latter stages of her DBS application. She was sympathetic to my wife's frustration and was respectful, personable in guiding her successfully through the process to the point of remaining on line until we had completed the application. A huge 5 stars to Personnel Checks, and a massive thank you to Beth and Lisa! We were in the middle of launching a new business and feeling totally overwhelmed by the paperwork. As neurodivergent creatives, dealing with database forms is not our strong suit, but the remote support we received was exceptional. They charge you 6 pounds for a security check there system fails then you have to go to a post office to verify your details for a extra 10.56 thieving 6 pounds of people for a service they haven't provided

Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your experience. I understand that not completing the online verification can be frustrating.
As part of our ID verification process, we initially use online verification through our partner, Yoti. If we are unable to verify your identity online after these attempts, a Post Office ID check is then required. This process is in line with updated DBS guidelines, which mean we are no longer able to manually verify ID documents ourselves once the online verification has failed.

PERSONNEL CHECKS - CUSTOMER SERVICE
One of our people who applied for an Enhanced DBS check was having problems with the process. I called Personnel Checks and spoke to Gemma. Gemma was extremely patient and spent a good deal of time on the phone with me. She found out what the problem was and started the process of solving it. With regard to customer service, Personnel Checks are extremely lucky to have Gemma on their team. An excellent company to deal with.
