We appreciate the clarity of each profile, the ability to see locations and make strategic requests based on where we want to be during our stays. We also love the variety of homes, pets, amenities, and schedules. It feels like being part of a powerful counter culture of international sharing and learning.

Great and growing community with a very personal touch to the whole process of home exchanging. The supporting Facebook group makes it easy to get constantly inspired by new destinations and to get in contact with new members and potential home exchange partners. I absolutely love the spirit of PLU and can highly recommend the platform for arranging home swaps! I had 12 exchanges in 2024 and 2025 and loved every single one of them!

We've enjoyed separate granny flat accommodation, a room in a home while hosts were there, access to entire home while hosts was absent... Love the variety of exchanges possible. We are very keen to offer the opportunity for people to stay with us enjoy Sydney, while still staying in our home at the same time. We love to hear the things that visitors most (& least!) enjoy about our home city, and to be able to suggest places which may not be on the tourist maps! And we've benefitted from that ourselves - really appreciate having our hosts in the property with us & to give us advice on their favourite local places to eat, things to see, etc.

The company offers a wide variety of listings from all over the world for members to exchange their homes, stay with members, and/or have independent exchanges which can be traded for other exchanges (called Globes). Online support is very helpful and answers come from experienced members using this website, which makes them more accurate than a staff member or an AI answer

People Like us Home Exchange is a highly recommended platform for organising home exchanges. It's professionally set up and run with a clear easily navigable web page.
I've used other similar sites in the past but this one seems populated by genuinely sincere, trustworthy people and my interactions and exchanges have always been very positive!
