I had to send a package to Australia, and there was a minor mixup at the recipient's building that made it seem like the package got lost somehow, which at first made me lose faith in the local delivery company DAI which I had never heard of before. But it turned out that it was not their fault and that the package was safe and sound where it was supposed to be placed after all, so I'm happy to report that DAI did a good job. Scott Jala from their customer support was particularly reassuring and diligent.

This company is the worst I strongly suggest never to use. I had a parcel that was meant to be delivered and it never did after weeks of calling every day to get answers (which they were terrible at giving) my item was a Christmas present very important. It clearly got stolen from a worker at the facility as it stopped getting scanned and they said after weeks and weeks they have lost it and pretty much bad luck closing case. So unprofessional

Non-existent customer service after failing to attempt to deliver a parcel. A nightmare to contact someone and get an answer on where my parcel is and how I can get it.
I had a parcel being handled by daipost/parcelright which was never delivered. This review is of my most recent experience with them (previous dealings have been the same). Multiple people were home on delivery day and no one rang the doorbell. The online tracking says delivery was attempted and it was "unsafe to leave". Throughout the whole mess I didn't receive a single email, call or text updating me on the status of my parcel when it was shipped, out for delivery, sent to collection point, sent to returns facility etc.
They promise a 24 hour enquiry response, I got no response to my query. Then after 45 minutes on hold trying to speak to somebody they told me they'd email me with an update - this never happened. I called again the next day and was told they need to get internal approval to release my parcel for pickup (I wanted to pick up because they never attempt delivery!). I'm currently waiting "24-48 hours" for a delivery update (including where their depot is for me to collect my parcel) and I'm sure they will never reply.
I tried to call both the customer and business enquiry lines for Parcel Right - these lines divert to the same useless foreign call centre that the DAI Global phone number diverts to.
Avoid these companies at all costs. If an item you want to buy will ship with them - cancel the order because you WILL NOT GET IT.
I also recommend lodging complaints with Fair Trading and the ACC. These companies should not be trading.

I ordered some supplements from America and because they where valued at over $1000 they had to be cleared through customs. This process was very frustrating and took 3 weeks. Scott from Parcelright was a pleasure to deal with. Very courteous and prompt in keeping me informed and promptly responding to my emails. Can highly recommend.

I had a parcel being handled by daipost/parcelright which was never delivered. I was home on delivery day and no one rang the doorbell, yet the online tracking says delivery was attempted. Throughout the whole process I didn't receive a single email, call or text updating me on the status of my parcel when it was shipped, out for delivery, sent to collection point, sent to returns facility etc.
The email I sent them was left on delivered for several days with no replies even when I had sent a chase-up email.
They've also implemented a fake "wait queue" when calling their customer service to waste the customers time. I've called them several times every day for the past 4 days to try get in touch with someone but every time I would have to wait for exactly 15 minutes before being told "there is no operator available". The automated message told me there was anywhere from 0-4 people ahead of me in the queue but each time the wait was exactly the same. Absolutely malicious design to waste hours from their customers life.
I was finally able to get in touch with a representative when I called in through their Business line rather than Customer line. 0 wait time, 0 queue, 0 BS.
Will absolutely immediately ask for a cancelation/refund of my order in the future if I find out they are delivering through daipost/parcelright.

DAI, particularly, Jai, was extremely respective, supportive and caring while helping me with my parcel which couldn't be delivered because a residential address was needed for my parcel.
After communicating with Jai, everything went smoothly and my parcel was delivered a little over a week later.

My experience started off poorly with the driver not being able to read the address. I received a message and advise the address even though the driver asked me and he had the correct address. This came from a mobile phone number which I couldn’t call back and when I left three messages however no acknowledgment.
The saving grace, was Rowena who was professional, polite and very understanding to my distress with the whole saga. She searched where my parcel was, sent a new message to my mobile and the emailed me back the pick up address.
Five stars 🌟 to Rowena. If there is an employee of the month or year, she definitely deserves it!

I am VERY disappointed with the courier service. The parcel was left on the footpath near my letterbox in full view of anyone driving or walking past.
I live in a rural area and my house is about 50m down the driveway - with easy access I might add.
Why did they leave the parcel outside my property?
Why did they not bring it down to the house? There is no closed gate.
Why was there no notification that it had been delivered?
According to the tracking, it was dropped off Saturday evening about 6pm. I was not aware of this until I searched my emails for some tracking details today..
I was made aware of the parcel due to a very kind neighbour who told me this morning, that it was out there near my letterbox.
It stormed with heavy rain Sunday night. The bag had split open and all the contents (cardboard) were water affected. (Lucky it was not other items such as clothing).

I was waiting for my parcel to arrive today, and when I checked the status, it said “delivered.” I went outside but couldn’t find anything, so I called Dai and spoke with Jay. Jay quickly addressed my concern and even sent me photos showing the parcel delivered to my address. It turned out the package had been placed in the west building instead of the east building where my unit is.
Despite the mix-up, Jay was very helpful, and I really appreciate consultants like him.

I paid extra for express delivery with Parcel Right, but the service fell far short of expectations. My parcel was not collected on the scheduled day (Thursday 13 November) and instead sat untouched until Friday. The tracking information provided was incorrect, and when I raised this with customer service, the response was defensive rather than helpful. I was then advised that my “express” parcel might not arrive until Friday 21 November — a full week later.
When I requested that they retrieve the parcel and send it via Australia Post Express, I was told this was not possible. It appears they operate with extremely limited capacity, with only one van covering Sydney, meaning if your area isn’t on their daily route, you simply wait.
There was a reason I paid $26 for express service. Unfortunately, Parcel Right did not deliver on what was promised.

Vinyl Records
I bought two vinyl records through this company.
The records arrived in perfect condition and on time.
The problem was that the person who delivered the box of records didn't bother to let me know they had arrived and simply left the box with my records lying around with complete disdain, indifference, and a lack of attention to their customer.
I live in an apartment building where the intercom works perfectly, the main door was open, and even my apartment door was open because I knew my records were arriving that day.
The delivery person didn't even bother to use any of the available communication options.
Out of nowhere, without me having heard the delivery person arrive, I received an email informing me that my records had been delivered.
I was lucky that no one passing by took my vinyl records, and a neighbor in my building told me there was a box addressed to me, lying on the floor like trash, in plain sight, and anyone walking by could have taken it without my knowledge.
When I contacted Scott Jala via email to explain the situation, he said they would reprimand the delivery person.
I wouldn't be surprised if, in the future, they continue using this type of delivery service, some customer complains about not receiving their order.
