An Enchanting Four Hours
The thing that made the experience great was that it made my wife happy!!! This film was something that she loved since she was a child and it was so endearing to see those wonderful memories in her eyes. I would also like to commend April, our tour leader, who made the experience so much better with her sense of humor and expertise leading the singalongs. Finally, our driver Dragón made us feel comfortable for the entire ride.

Great day out
Nice tour guide. Lots of stories along the way. Beautiful nature, great ride. I didn't make it up to Kehlstein due to anxiety but my sons did.
Only one slight negative thing. I am tall and the seats are quite close to each other. I managed for 3/4 of an hour but longer would be irritating.

The guide makes all the difference.
We booked the double tour - salt mine and Sound of Music.
The salt mine tour surprised us, we both enjoyed it, the mine tour is part museum, part adventure park, part light show. The guide was great.
The Sound of Music tour was the main event for us, particularly me who has wanted to do it for 45 years. Unfortunately I don't think our guide was into it. And a guide makes all the difference. We spoke to some people at a cooking class last night and they said their tour was so much fun and their guide was awesome. Ours got the job done, but there wasn't any fun.

35 years of waiting, didn't disappoint
I have wanted to take this trip for 35 years and was apprehensive that it might not live up to my long awaited expectations. It did! Absolutely essential for any true Sound of Music fan. Be prepared for a sing-along.

The tour was amazing
The tour was amazing. Our guide, José, was a very knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging storyteller. We learned a lot about the history of the real von Trapp family and where it differed from the movie. We visited, saw, or learned about where all of the movies most memorable scenes were filmed. Most impressive was the way the tour brought people together from all over the world to sing the songs we all know and love together as we explore Salzburg.

Great tour!
We had a really nice time. The tour is well organised and thanks to April, we learned a lot about the movie and were really entertained by her. The tour is for real fans so you definitely need to know the movie to enjoy it - I'm happy I decided not to bring my 6 and 8 years old children who never saw it.
