Mouldy packaging

Honestly, kind of disappointed. Purchased a sale item, the inside of the box has black mould on several corners. Fabric wasn’t wrapped in plastic or anything.

Returns process is overly arduous on the customer. Fill in a form, not knowing the returns carrier is different to the delivery carrier. Read website messages and emails telling you to find your nearest drop off location. Realise there isn’t a drop off location. By chance realise that you can arrange for the carrier to collect from you. Arrange collection. Carrier doesn’t arrive.

I’m glad I only paid sale price and not full price tbh.

Incredibly slow delivery

Incredibly slow delivery, and then they charge you returns. I bought a suit based on their on site measurements, it was completely the wrong size - and they charged me to return the item. I ordered another one, and this one will have taken over a week to deliver when it arrives and I'll miss the party I wanted it for so will have to deliver it as well. Just bought something else from Amazon which arrives on next day delivery. Will never use Opposuits again, a total waste of my time and money.

broke instantly

bought a onesie for 60 USD, it broke after a half hour. Giant hole inbetween my legs that only got bigger and bigger. Do not buy from here.

Still waiting on any reply

Ordered a jacket from them, they sent a completely wrong jacket. Three different emails over a week later and I have received no response. I have zero confidence in their team, and their products are not worth the aggravation of dealing with their abysmal customer service team.

As bright as the day they were bought

My husband has multiple suits from oppo which he wears almost daily and after a year of wear they are still as bright as they day he bought them!

I had to reach out to customer service due to an issue with some of them and I was really pleased with the help Melanie provided me.

I'm sure my husband will buy more suits from them to complete his rainbow collection

The suits themselves are ok quality but…

The suits themselves are ok quality but BEWARE truly awful customer service. The size was wrong, I needed to return within 30 days and to ensure I did everything correctly asked Oppo for the exact returns procedure from the U.K. to the Netherlands. They sent me the WRONG return address so now the packages is floating somewhere in Europe. They say it’s my issue despite them sharing the wrong street name and postcode. They’ve washed their hands despite the fault being 200% on their side. So frustrating - they just don’t care.

Ordered a suit for my fiancé and it was…

Ordered a suit for my fiancé and it was not what we hoped. He is quite slim so we ordered one of the teen suits, sadly it was too small. The quality is awful and as a seamstress I can tell it is really bad quality. We realised the return is to the Netherlands which cost us just under £18 and we are currently waiting for the refund :( I wouldn't recommend.

They have a decent product BUT reading…

They have a decent product BUT reading many customer reviews about the shocking customer service relating to refunds/exchanges/orders, it has put me off ordering anything. I cannot find a phone number to call them and I still have not received an answer to a query.
Sadly, I am not getting a great feeling about the business now and will have to look elsewhere for a company, who cares about their customers.
If they are not careful, they will not have any customers!

Zero care about their customers

My son bought his SECOND suit from OppoSuits only to find a stain on the pant leg. He reached out to customer service and they offered to send a free return label to send suit back but nothing about a replacement. When he asked about a partial refund they said no. I do NOT recommend this company. It’s important to make things right with your customer but clearly they don’t care. They have their money.

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Suits arrived too small (I even ordered two different sizes) and was instructed to send them both back in the same package. Now they claim they cannot locate one of the suits I returned and are refusing a full refund​. I meticulously followed their instructions and mailed the package ​t​hat very same day they instructed me to with a prepaid label. I also included the instructions about both suits for the warehouse (again as instructed). I even had to find a larger package to return them in and taped it up very securely. I have a photograph of the package right before I dropped it off. Both boxes were set side by side inside the box and wrapped together.

Every time I emailed them, it took over a week to respond. As of today, I've been trying to get this straightened out for TWO MONTHS. Each time they email back and basically say, "Sorry we can only find one suit--too bad."

To claim they can't find the suit after I demonstrably followed their instructions is not only inconvenient, but raises serious concerns about their return handling process.​ ​The fact that it has taken multiple emails with weeks between each one is also concerning. I don't understand why they cannot simply issue a refund. We have no suits to show for this and are out an additional $80 and two months of frustrating correspondence.

Does anyone have someone else I can speak to or a phone number I can call to get this resolved once and for all?

Missing parcel and no refund!!

Dreadful customer service!
Have sent a return, have proof of return and yet have been told they “haven’t received it” and that “if I wanted to guarantee a refund, I should have paid for tracking” despite no where in the return process did this company specify that tracking was needed. My return already cost £14 and it was on top of a £69 suit!
If tracking is required this should be made extremely clear during the return process. Absolutely agree with the overall review rating of 1.5/5! Never in my online shopping experience have I been told, no we haven’t received your package it’s your fault, when there is physical proof of postage.
From seeing other reviews it seems that I am not the first one this has happened too, very suspicious that this many packages seem to go missing…

Would give a zero if possible

Would give a zero if possible, I bought two kids suits back in November and returned them as the sizes were way off. They received my return at the start of December and told me they had sent my refund to be processed I waited and didn’t get my refund so raised it with my bank. It’s now almost March and I’ve still not received my refund.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Got the Harleking Suit. You only choose the jacket size soooo you gotta hope that the pants fit. The jacket fit perfectly, as predicted, the pants did not. They give you a little bit of room (extra fabric inside the pant) to alter the pants so they possibly fit. They even insist you do that before you send emails for returns. Worse part is I got them altered and they did not even fit after that, not enough fabric to make it work. So i decided to email for a possible partial refund or exchange and of course they say "it is not possible if you've already altered the fit" ARE YOU KIDDING? Y'ALL INSISTED ON ALTERATIONS? Why the hell would you sell a suit and not give you an option to choose a pant size? Makes no sense. Such a shame that i love the suit, at least the jacket that fits, but I can't get an exchange of pants. Very unprofessional Opposuits. Never buying or recommending them to anybody.

Since we only sell complete suits and not individual items from our suits, it is impossible for us to provide our customers with a larger trouser size in this case. We can then no longer sell the item as a complete product.

We indeed advise our customers to choose the correct size of the jacket, so that a tailor can see whether the trousers can be made larger. If this is not the case, we offer the return option, only if the pants have not yet been adjusted. In your review we read that you have adjusted the item at a tailor, then it is unfortunately no longer possible to return the complete item, as we can no longer sell the item for this reason.

Once again, we find it extremely annoying that you can no longer wear the item.

I wish I had to read the reviews before…

I wish I had to read the reviews before I purchased a jacket. I love the print. Love, the color of the design. However, the fit is in question. I sent an email with my information about needing to return it. The side seams in the front sleeve Seams don't match up which means I can't bring my arms forwardand I wear a size 8. It is definitely not 8 i can't even get the buttons to closed the worst part is i can't bring my arms forward. The seams are in the wrong place. I do not know who made this suit jacket. They should be responsible for taking it back, paying the shipping.

It truly is a shame because I love the jacket.

They sold me a PRE-WORN Suit

They sold me a suit someone CLEARLY partied in because upon taking it out of the box it REEKED of this absolutely heinous perfume, was clearly stuffed into the box instead of nicely folded, and didn't have any tags like all the other suits I've ordered from them (which were all fine). They claim they cannot refund me because they cannot SEE anything wrong (how does one see a smell?!). This is absolutely disgusting and a horrible business practice, especially after I paid twice the cost of my order in outrageous shipping and import fees to Canada just to be sold soiled goods. Buy your fun suits from a company that doesn't sell people sweaty preworn clothing. I'm so disappointed.

Read the reviews before you buy

Please be very careful. The clothing comes up in all odd sizes and the chances are they won't fit. If they don't forget trying to return them. You will have to pay customs duties and postage which is pretty much the cost of your item. My advice is AVOID. I really wish I had read all the reviews saying the same thing before I purchased.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

This has been the worst experience ever. It took FOREVER to get a response for the return, only for it be rejected. It was returned in original packaging and unworn. I do not recommend ordering from them directly. If you absolutely need to order a suit from them, do it via Amazon. At least you can return it.

Absolutely do not buy if from Canada

I purchased two suits for a wedding on September 26th, and paid for expediting shipping which stated 3-45 business days. The suits did not arrive until OCTOBER 18th! I paid over $40 for the expedited shipping and when the suits arrived, the boxes were damaged (clearly opened previously). Additionally, I had to pay over $55.00 in duties on pickup.

Given the severe delays in time to ship, I had expected, at minimum, the return of the difference of the expedited shipping cost for the standard shipping costs. Instead, I got 10% off my NEXT order.

So I decided to return even though the suits seemed reasonably nice, but I was not offered a return label. So I had to pay out of pocket AGAIN to return the suits, another $60. So in total I paid over $150 for shipping, duties and return fees let alone the actual costs of the suits. They made their return policy seem easy before you purchase, but I was quite flabbergasted when I had to pay out of pocket to return the suits.

I can't say that the quality of the suits weren't good, because they seemed okay. But at this point, even if they refund me the full costs of the suits, I'll be out $150 with nothing to show for it. I returned the suits within 14 days of receiving the suits so I will update if my money gets returned.
