Let Down Before My Wedding

I never received a confirmation email, delivery update, or any communication regarding my order — only automated marketing emails, which makes the lack of actual service communication even more frustrating.

Only half of my order arrived in time for my wedding party on Saturday 12th July, with no explanation or delivery note to clarify what was missing or whether the rest would arrive. I contacted customer service twice after the delivery, well in advance of the Wedding party and never received a response.

It was also really frustrating that there was no phone number available to speak to someone directly — especially given the time-sensitive nature of the order.

To top it off, the quality of the sweets that did arrive wasn’t great either.

Overall, a disappointing experience at a time that should have been special. I wouldn’t use this company again or recommend it based on the poor service and lack of communication.

Short delivered and left in the rain!

1st time using, thought looked really good value until I received my package, left out in the rain on a day of a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms, box socked that much it tore when picked up.

Not only was outside packaging wet so was the packaging of the products I ordered for a sweet buffet at a wedding! Not the only issue, also had products missing .......

Sent pictures of delivery but company not interested. Can't unwrap sweets to give out so now left with products unfit.

Offered a refund for missing products - still to receive this.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, package was repeatedly attempted to be delivered when we were not in and one pound sweets refused to deliver or help, rude and unhelpful over email.

Package finally arrived and most of the crisps are popped with bags broken to being not properly packed.

Would never use again, terrible service and better to pay more and get what you want.

If you would have helped it wouldn't have been moved as many times, also if you had packed correctly it wouldn't have been damaged, the other crisps that were not loose were not damaged. Terrible service, would highly recommend to anyone NEVER to use your shop.

tracking shows you were out 3 times therefore the large parcel has been moved an extra 6 times and so more damage it likely to occur. If you updated your delivery preferences then delivery would have occurred first time and your items would be fine.

First and last time as a customer

Ordered last Wednesday (two boxes of snaps crisps) Promised delivery within 2-4 working days, the last day of which is today. Strongly worded email sent yesterday as so far no order updates, no tracking info, yet bombarding me with stupid marketing emails. How about less of those and more emails updating me on order status? First and last time being a customer. If I don't get a reply by close of business tomorrow (Wednesday) then I'm logging a dispute with PayPal

IN RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM ONE POUND SWEETS - I haven't received a tracking email lol! That's the point, you haven't sent one, nor any useful update on my order at all.

Ordered a few times and was always…

Ordered a few times and was always happy with what I’ve received.

Used to order a selection of single packs of crisps to be able to get a variety of types/flavours, but disappointed to see that you are phasing single bags out and just offering full boxes.

I have tried a few of these so called bargain sweets offers from a few companies.
If I'm honest none of them are the bargain they claimed
You can buy more sweets like for like for a given amount from poundland or B&M, how do I know I've done it to compare. Shame but its never the bargain claimed

Love this company...

Love this company....Lovely old fashioned sweets, lollies, chewy sweets etc, so much choice. They come well packaged and are delivered really fast....What's not to love!

Missing chocolate but resolved quickly!

I ordered a box of 32 Cadbury starbars. Unfortunately when I received them the box appeared to be tampered with or damaged in transit. There was only 14 bars in the taped up package. I emailed the customer service team and promptly got a response to say I would receive the missing bars. I was a little concerned after reading some negative reviews of the after sales service but I had no reason to be concerned as the service was great, no problems. I would therefore recommend people to but from this business Thanks you still much guys.
