The call was answered quickly and the agent was cheery, helpful and polite.

Very clear website, easy to understand with one minor issue that when I was asked to send a photo of the export reading there was no link or email address shown.

Ordered solar panels. Installation fantastic , however, trying to get hold of handler was near impossible. Mis lead about export tariff and complaints were never reviewed. Very disappointed in customer service and lack of transparency.

Thank you for sending this through. The figures look reasonable — I’m happy to proceed with this fixed tariff. Please could you confirm:
•The exact exit fee amount?
•That I have a 14-day cooling-off period?
•And please post the full written agreement to my address?

Once I have those details I can confirm everything.

Kayleigh was very helpful and responded quickly to my email. I am looking forward to receiving a £50 refund into my bank since I had a large credit in my Octopus account and being on a pension I try to keep my energy usage as low as possible.

Customer service agent was very polite and helpful making it easy to switch to Octopus

I contacted Octopus via email before 8am with an emergency as I had no hot water. I got a response in 15 minutes where the problem was determined and action taken. An engineer booked and turned up at 9am. Gas meter replaced and everything working and tested by a friendly efficient engineer within 45 minutes. The agent who organised it all followed up in the afternoon as promised to ensure all went smoothly. Customer service second to none, absolutely recommended Octopus to everyone if you want peace of mind.

My questions were answered and I received the info by return, very efficient. Both Sasha and Denitsa were helpful and explained things clearly thank you.

My problem was sorted out promptly and with expertise.

Very quick, efficient responses when contacting customer service

After submitting this month's meter readings and noticed the previous ones were wrong on the website the team corrected it quite quickly.

Initially there was a problem as the line was poor. Nolu asked me to hang up and she would call me straight back. To my amazement she did! Unfortunately there was still a problem which I believe related to my phone. Nolu agreed to call back on my husband’s phone which she did and again she surprised me.
She showed great patience and did exactly what she said she would do! This honest behaviour did not relate to previous experiences I have had with various organisations.
Nolu sorted out the problem quickly, efficiently, effectively and pleasantly.
I am 76 years of age and not particularly tech aware. It was so nice to speak to someone who showed such patience and actually talked.

I noticed I had built up quite a bit of credit over a couple of years and requested some of it to be credited back to me.
Mark in customer relations contacted me to authorise this, which I received in my bank account a couple of days later.
Well done Octopus, no hassle and prompt action. Very easy to deal with.

Robbie was a top bloke, down to earth and just chatted about family and how funny life can be. Found a solution that was best for everyone meaning minimal fuss. Top service, top bloke
