Professional and excellent customer service.
I had bought to Numatic a Henry hoover 2 and a half years ago aprox. The hoover was working very well but started to make a weird sound last Christmas. I phoned to them and the repaired my Henry under guarantee without any charge or inconvenient. No silly questions, just I felt I had bought the product to a very honest and professional company. Very fast service, they collected and they returned back the Henry once repaired using DPD courier service. No complaints, very professional and excellent customer service. My hoover works perfectly and I would buy another product to them in the future without any doubt. I recommend them 100%.
Useless support
Soooo, I had a Henry cordless for Xmas 2025. Here I am less than 2 months later and it has ceased working. ! So I rang my insurance D and G and they informed me that because it's less than a year old its under manufacturing warranty. Fair enough, so they passed me on to Numatic.
Thing is...Numeric don't answer their phones ????
So , vacuum not working, D and G despite me paying for an insurance with them are not interested so what am I supposed to do ??
Love the whole product range but spares process is flawed
Love the whole product range. Currently I have 2 James vacuum cleaners and they are excellent. Very robust. Ideal for heavy use. But trying to get shares out of them is like getting blood from a stone. Numeric don't seem to know they're own stockists requirements. I was given incorrect info twice!

Purchased a Henry Quick Pet (we have three dogs). Product arrived next day which was impressive. Slightly frustrated that the floor attachment was faulty but Caroline from customer services was brilliant. I received a customer number on Boxing Day and there was a no quibble replacement sent. Really good customer service. The machine itself has impressive suction and really sucks up all the Labrador hairs! Very happy customer!

after completing the transaction , google sent a link to Argos selling the same for £20 less.
I called henry and cancelled the transaction,
I would have gladly accepted a price match, (and a refund of £20) but that is obviously to SIMPLE for a big company to sort, so I was sent a confirmation email, stating my order was cancelled
BUT IT APPEARS THAT EMAIL IS WORTHLESS AND MY ORDER WASN'T CANCELLED
So I was then bemused by the following week saying that the product had been delivered.

Bought an Henry Wash in October via Amazon. Like most folks we do not WASH our carpets every day. Hence we opened the box today Dec 3rd to wash carpets prior to Xmas. The long rubber solution pipe had a heavy duty plastic NOOSE around it not a rubber band or wire to retain it during transit. The noose had damaged the rubber hose. in 4 places, (see pics) this was done at the factory in CHINA of all places. Plus zero paper work inside the box - no instructions on how to assemble the many parts. No Warranty card no paper work at all nothing. We have contacted by email media at numatic and await their reply. However its extremely annoying and also the box which came LOOK OLD like it had been stored somewhere for months or years and the box was partly damaged too on which it came. Overall ZERO stars. We havent even tried to see if it works because we are still waiting for someone to send us assembly instructions.... what a nightmare. Also cant seem to be able to attache photos of the damaged solution hose on here. But sent to their email
Strong vacuum, but buyer beware
I purchased a Charles vacuum last year. Recently, the suction was noticeably diminished and there was a rattling sound from the hat of the vacuum. There are 4 accessible standard screws that attach the hat, so I unscrewed them to see if I could identify the issue. Upon opening the hat, the problem was clear: the fan had struck and broken the housing around it, warping the fan in the process. The machine was only lightly used and well maintained, so I can only assume that the damage was due to a manufacturing defect.
I contacted Numatic to explain the issue because the vacuum was still under warranty. They responded that I had voided the warranty by opening the hat, and they were unwilling to provide any assistance. Nowhere in the warranty policy is it clear that opening the hat to inspect for damage voids the warranty. The precise line of the warranty referenced by the Numatic representative states "f. Claims will not be accepted if they are the result of fair wear and tear, misuse or abuse of any kind." Apparently inspecting for damage constitutes "misuse." The vacuum is currently unusable, so I will need to either pay to repair it or replace it myself.

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Numatic has been so outstanding that I just have to share it especially to recognise the amazing Jackie Trott, who went above and beyond in every possible way.
I had a Numatic machine that was included in a product recall. I was initially a bit unsure about how the process would go, but from the start, everything was smooth, simple, and stress-free. The online recall form was quick and easy to complete, and the whole process was very well organised. I was honestly impressed at how seamless it all felt.
But what really made the difference was Jackie Trott. She handled my case with such professionalism, care, and genuine kindness. She made sure all the paperwork was completed correctly, and she communicated clearly at every stage so I knew exactly what was happening. Jackie made what could have been a confusing process feel effortless.
Unfortunately, after I sent my defective item back, it got lost in transit. I was worried this would cause a delay or some hassle, but Jackie Trott immediately stepped in and took control of the situation. She reassured me that everything would be sorted and personally made sure that I wouldn’t be left without a replacement. Thanks to her quick thinking and dedication, my new machine was released and sent out straight away. Jackie’s calm, caring, and efficient approach completely turned what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one.
And if that wasn’t enough, Jackie Trott went the extra mile actually, she went about ten extra miles! Along with my replacement machine, Jackie sent me a wonderful surprise package containing 10 free Flo bags, two Henry hats, a key ring, and a Henry huggable plush! I couldn’t believe it. That thoughtful gesture honestly made my day and showed just how much Jackie cares about her customers.
Jackie didn’t just do her job she made the whole experience personal, warm, and memorable. Her attention to detail, her communication, and her genuine kindness are exactly what every company should aspire to. It’s not often you come across someone who takes so much pride in what they do and makes customers feel so valued.
Jackie Trott, you are a true superstar! You turned a simple recall into an experience that left me smiling from ear to ear. You are an incredible representative of Numatic, and it’s clear that you genuinely love helping people. You’ve made me a lifelong customer and a huge fan of Numatic.
To Jackie’s manager and the Numatic leadership team: please take a moment to recognise what an outstanding employee you have. Jackie Trott is an absolute asset to your company her professionalism, compassion, and dedication are second to none. No good for me!
I keep trying to use this vacuum but the battery dies after 20 mins, then 3.5 hrs in the charger to refuel! the side clips are too hard for me to clip on myself, I need my husband 's help and the cleaning wand just keeps falling off. All in all, not what I bargained for!
Bought a hetty as a gift
Bought a hetty as a gift. Delay in opening it due to moving in issues. A small part is missing, Numatic refused to supply one but offered to sell me one.
George now fixed and gone from bad to brilliant!
Trustpilot reviews really are worthwhile. After placing a one star review about the issues I was having with my George vacuum, I had a phone call from a guy at Numatic. He had listened to my calls to Customer Service and agreed I had been let down. Within one conversation he pinpointed the issues with my George and sent two new parts, which have made George go from a bit useless to brilliant! The lower wand no longer falls off and the carpet brush no longer clogs up. What a difference! Nice to come across someone who really cares about customers service and seemed to be on a mission to fix the problems at Numatic. George still follows me around a little drunk but I can forgive him that now, seeing as he's now a five star vac.
Excellent customer service
I bought a Henry Quick (cordless stick vacuum) in January 2023. It has been great but then started to lose suction. I did the usual, checked for blockages etc and found a split in the small piece of hose which connects the floor tool to the handle. I checked the guarantee, ( 2 years). So I attempted to repair it with tape. After a week or two this failed and the split was now huge. I emailed customer service to ask if I could get a new hose. I had a reply back within an hour or so ( this was out of normal working hours) wanting more details. I replied that evening. Next morning a reply to say a new floor tool was on its way to me. It is being delivered on Friday, 72 hours after I first made contact. Well done Henry! In particular well done to Maisy Bishop in customer service, excellent!
Great products and service
Henry is a deserved household brand-name to one of the best designed appliances of the last half a century, ourselves with two (one also for upstairs), the older near-relative bought about twenty-five years ago. Just keeps going, with parts still available and which can be bought either direct from Numatic or one of their distributors. And the representatives on the part of these various companies have all gone out of their way to help us trace the required fixture. The fact that the hoover-wire on the later machines can no longer be wound into the hoover, and that one of the retailers they are in business with unfortunately happens to be Argos, does not detract from a five-star rating. The bottom line is that Henry sets a standard in quality engineering and product-design and owning one of these is well worth the funds.
Poor After Sales Service
I’m sorry to say that I’ve not had a great experience. I bought a George carpet cleaner and it leaks water from the solution tube all over the place. I emailed customer services with videos showing me connecting it all correctly and the water pouring out and requested a replacement part. The response was a leaflet and link to a video to show me how to connect it together. Seeing as I had already provided evidence of me connecting it correctly, this is insulting. The second response was to tell me to return it to the retailer. I am returning it to the retailer today for a full refund and will purchase an alternative brand cleaner. All it would have taken was a replacement part to keep me happy and retain the product. You have lost a customer and earned a poor review.
Packed Up After Only Three Years

I have always looked after my XL Plus, changing the bags before they were full and also replacing the filter, yet today I switched it on and there was a noise from the motor and a smell of electricity and it is now dead. I had hoped this XL would last at least as long as my last Henry and not pack up after only three years of household use.
Not as good as they used to be
I’ve had numatic vacuum cleaners over the last 20years on my valeting business. The last 2 cleaners whilst performing well the build quality is not as good as it used to be. The last one the front wheels fell off within the first 12 months and on the current one that I bought in March 2025 when you pick it up the top falls of the bottom. They used to be excellent machine. I will not be buying another one.

I had an issue with the suction on my Henry , I contacted Numatic and a lady called Alice F understood my issue straight away and helped sort out the issue with a replacement part , arrived the next day . Rare to find such prompt , excellent customer service . Thankyou Alice you are a complete star and you made my day.
Fantastic BUT
I recently purchased a Henry Quick. Having used a full size Henry for many, many years I pretty much knew what to expect. I wasn’t disappointed, it’s a fantastic machine.
Missing the extra star due to my having to pay £69.99 for a second battery! I’m so disappointed that a second battery is not included as it’s so frustrating when the battery fails part way through the cleaning. Also the freshener that came with the machine has absolutely no perfume at all.
Come on Numatic you are letting yourselves down here.
