coffee is very high quality, sourced directly from farmers around the world, relatively lightly roasted, but certainly fresh with recent roast date. Delivery is fast too.

Excellent quality coffee that feels…
Excellent quality coffee that feels like a warm hug. Highly recommend trying their subscription model particularly if you grind your own coffee at home. The seasonal variety of the coffee beans alongside the consistently high quality of bean selection and roasting makes the experience of each home made espresso feel like a special occasion. Having also tried their compostable pods I must say I was very pleasantly surprised to get a high quality espresso experience that one simply can't get with Nespresso pods or equivalent.

Great coffee in compostable pods
Great coffee in compostable pods, has been a great alternative to Nespresso’s own pods. The water flow with these pods is slower than with Nespresso pods but the final shot is quite tasty so no impact there.

Coffee
The delivery was really fast and coffee feels like it's good quality. However, it's too much on acidic side for me.That's just a personal preference but it would be nice to see more low acid coffee options.

At Notes we medium roast our coffee, which preserves some of the natural flavour profiles but also results in a fuller and more balanced brew. This does mean that some acidity will come through! Poor quality capsules, good coffee
Ordering the coffee was seamless and the coffee tastes good. Based on just that I would have given 5 stars. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the capsules themselves aren’t of very good quality. They block my nespresso machine, stop pouring and make the machine leak. I know they’re compostable and that’s cool, but I don’t think I’ll be buying again because of the capsules poor quality.

With that said, sometimes certain pod batches can cause brewing issues that aren't evident until after the fact! Please get in touch with us at hello@notescoffee.shop with the coffee name and batch number (found at the bottom of the package) so that we can send you another pack and also make sure it's pulled from our inventory.
