First time took any kind of VPN

First time took any kind of VPN. So I go for the "best"! Wow!how wrong I was,since I start using Nord VPN all features on I had nothing but problem after problem. Digital wallet not working, signed out! Cant pay on the petrol station,what a embarrassing moment, any page I tried to open online signed out from all of them. Bank, mobile phone,Costa app,Shell app etc... absolute nightmare. Had to resets all apps I was using for ages without any issues. Since I took Nord VPN all collapsed. Utterly disgusting. They forcing you to use Nord Pass so you can give them all your passwords. Regretting every moment I took Nord VPN. Honestly AVOID!

That said, we'd like to clarify a couple of things: NordPass is an entirely separate, optional product and is never required to use NordVPN. We'd never ask you to hand over your passwords. Additionally, some apps and services do flag VPN connections as a security measure on their end, which can cause unexpected sign-outs, this isn't something we do intentionally.
If you haven't already, try switching your connection protocol to NordLynx in the app settings, as this can improve compatibility with certain services. Shuts off phone service completely

Shuts off phone service completely. Was unable to use data or just regular phone service.
Sometimes it connects where I want and sometimes it does not.
Triples how much you pay.
Almost impossible to completely uninstall it from your computer.
Has a "helper" that blocks your screen and demands to be installed. What exactly is the helper? Who knows? Stopped me from using my computer and I spent hours trying to get rid of it.
Customer service is nonexistant.

starting out bad but ended up with good service

although the beginning of the process wasn’t good because the first CS person simply said the company can’t help with the issue:

Unfortunately, Paramount+ enforces strict geo-blocking based on your IP address due to international licensing and copyright laws. If you travel outside your home country, you may temporarily lose access to your home catalogue or be blocked entirely, even if you are connected to a VPN.

We are always expanding the list of streaming services accessible with NordVPN, however, due to technical barriers set by them, we can't give an estimate on when your desired streaming service would be available.

NordVPN is excellent

NordVPN is excellent. I use it on my devices and it does its job very well and it is not difficult to use. I had tried a couple of other well known apps but neither was as good as Nord.

I had (past tense) Nord VPN for more than 3 years…

I had Nord VPN for more than 3 year before I gave it up. I had an issue with Internet speed on my PC and to a far lesser extent on my laptops and Pad when I lived in LA and when I lived in Chicago. I had the same problem with the standard Nord app and later with the dedicated Server I purchased from Nord. Over the years the issue became ever worse no matter how the Nord app was setup. This appears to be a Nord problem not an end user problem. In the end Nord was so slow it was near unusable. Customer service could not fix the issue. The updated Nord app did not fix the issue. No other VPN app I tried had the problem I encountered with Nord VPN.

I feel that my info is safe with Nord…

I feel that my info is safe with Nord VPN.I can surf the internet and not worry about anything personal getting out. Getting customer service is a little tricky as there is no phone number, just email. But, with that said, I am always contacted back with any questions, concerns, or the need to get help. Theirs is the first VPN I have ever used and went with them due to their ratings and reviews. Though they can be used with my internet provider-Verizon, They can’t be used with the routers from Verizon, in that I can’t download onto the routers. Instead I put the VPN directly on my Ipad, IPhone and laptop. This is my third year with Nord VPN. I definitely, recommend using Nord VPN
