NordVPN does not have any live agents…

NordVPN does not have any live agents to talk to. I bought their product for $180.00 plus and am unable to use it. It blocked several channels and several websites including the ones to contact their customer service. How can you contact customer service if the website is not available? By the time I was able to get pass their blocks and write to someone in customer service they said I am beyond the 30 day trial period and they will not refund my $180.00! I would never recommend NordVPN to anyone! Total scam!

NordVPN is great at doing what it says it does, but sadly has (generative/LLM) AI features.

For a while I thought that my laptop had gotten a virus, despite me using NordVPN all the time. Turned out that the virus was Windows itself.

Jokes aside, a real issue for VPNs is that more websites are now catching up and trying to move against VPNs, sometimes YouTube won't play because it thinks I'm a bot due to the VPN IP. Then I switch to a different country, and the videos play like normal.

+ That's something I find great about NordVPN: It's genuinly really fast, switching between countries takes 5 seconds. When my laptop starts up VPN takes about three minutes to launch, it used to be faster but my laptop is 7 years old so fair is fair.

+ Another bonus is that NordVPN has lately offered some Incogni and sometimes Saily discounts. We made use of a Saily discount and the service worked flawlessly!

- Why 3 starts and not 5? They've added AI security features. The world is already struggling as is, the current heatwaves in Europe are defenitely worsened by climate change and NordVPN services were top tier without the genAI / (LLM adjacent) AI involved. I understand the need to keep up with changes in technology, but I wish that we as customers could still opt out of it. I don't want to contribute to making human induced climate change even worse, and I don't want to comply with the way (generative)AI is currently being scaled and forced into every app, website and service. The havoc it wreaks on the environment is unacceptable.

NorVPN did not prevent virus attacks…

NorVPN did not prevent virus attacks and I had to use windows defender to get rid of them many times

I've tried a lot of VPN service, and I culd day that, this is eh best, nice app, very useful tools, max speed in use, is the best VPN no doubt.

I had tried another established VPN…

I had tried another established VPN provider and was initially reluctant to change. The deciding factor was cost, and, now that I have been using Nord VPN for some time, I am very happy I did change. It is a very good service with additional services that all work well. I would recommend Nord VPN.

The customer support team

The customer support team helped to solve problem I had with prompt reply to my emails, and the instructions were easy to understand. If I didn't understand, they quickly responded so I understand. Every one was super patient with me. Thank you for your support, you are the BEST !!

Update Email Today 7-9-26:

I am happy to report that Nordvpn has now issued the partial refund to my Paypal account. Thank you to the support agents that helped close the loop.

My experience, however, was challenging. Despite working daily with technicians and even upgrading my device as instructed, the issue remained unresolved. The refund was initially approved but didn't arrive until I followed up several times.

I appreciate the final resolution, but the journey to get there was far from smooth.

First time took any kind of VPN

First time took any kind of VPN. So I go for the "best"! Wow!how wrong I was,since I start using Nord VPN all features on I had nothing but problem after problem. Digital wallet not working, signed out! Cant pay on the petrol station,what a embarrassing moment, any page I tried to open online signed out from all of them. Bank, mobile phone,Costa app,Shell app etc... absolute nightmare. Had to resets all apps I was using for ages without any issues. Since I took Nord VPN all collapsed. Utterly disgusting. They forcing you to use Nord Pass so you can give them all your passwords. Regretting every moment I took Nord VPN. Honestly AVOID!

Shuts off phone service completely

Shuts off phone service completely. Was unable to use data or just regular phone service.
Sometimes it connects where I want and sometimes it does not.
Triples how much you pay.
Almost impossible to completely uninstall it from your computer.
Has a "helper" that blocks your screen and demands to be installed. What exactly is the helper? Who knows? Stopped me from using my computer and I spent hours trying to get rid of it.
Customer service is nonexistant.
