I feel that my info is safe with Nord…

I feel that my info is safe with Nord VPN.I can surf the internet and not worry about anything personal getting out. Getting customer service is a little tricky as there is no phone number, just email. But, with that said, I am always contacted back with any questions, concerns, or the need to get help. Theirs is the first VPN I have ever used and went with them due to their ratings and reviews. Though they can be used with my internet provider-Verizon, They can’t be used with the routers from Verizon, in that I can’t download onto the routers. Instead I put the VPN directly on my Ipad, IPhone and laptop. This is my third year with Nord VPN. I definitely, recommend using Nord VPN

Using NordVPN from a country with…

Using NordVPN from a country with strict internet restrictions can be incredibly challenging. However, thanks to the help and support of the NordVPN customer service team, I was finally able to resolve my subscription renewal issue.

I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to the two support agents who kindly extended my service time while I was trying to solve the problem. Because of their help and understanding, I had enough time to complete my renewal successfully.

Terrible VPN

Terrible VPN. It's on the same level as free alternatives, only it costs $100+. Sometimes free VPNs even work better than this one. Frequent connection dropouts, regular failures to connect to servers, and this happens constantly on all devices (Windows, iOS, Android). You could assume it's because of my country's blocks, but shouldn't a VPN—especially one that isn't cheap—be able to bypass those blocks?

Nord VPN is a subscription trap

Nord VPN is a subscription trap. A first TWO year subscription from April 2024 until July 2016 cost EUR 128,30. In June 2026, renewal for a ONE year period was priced at EUR 179,88. Three weeks before due date, the costs for a ONE year subscription rose to EUR 214,06. I initially failed to switch off the automatic subscription renewal option, trusting that raises would be reasonable. In the present case, Nord VPN raised the initial subscription price within two years by 334%. I feel this is serious a rip-off. Company untrustworthy.

After that initial term, renewals are billed at the standard rate, which reflects the complete range of features, infrastructure, and ongoing development we invest in. The problem with NordVPN is it's SPEED

The problem with NordVPN is it's server's I live in Florida so I compared ProtonVPN to NordVPN. I only have one high speed service and unfortunately it's Xfinity NordVPN the first week only I did get a NordVPN server after that GSL Network Data Camp and PackHub server's only and I did setup NordVPN for the fastest server my 1Gig service was reduced to 250mbps download and 10mbps upload. ProtonVPN is much faster almost 850mbps download and 112mbps upload. So don't waste your money with NordVPN you will not get a NordVPN server.

Just to clarify, names like GSL Network and PackHub are the data center providers that physically host NordVPN's servers. This is standard practice in the industry and does not mean you are connecting to a non-NordVPN server. Your traffic is still fully encrypted and routed through our infrastructure regardless of the data center name you see.

That said, the speed difference you described is something we take seriously and would love to investigate further. Speeds can be affected by a number of factors including server load, protocol selection and your ISP routing.
