I have a qashqai 2022 and had problems with the entertainment screen ,it's a known fault being the anti-glare on it.i have had 2 replacements in warranty but the second is going now.Becouse the first fault happened in Warranty this one should be replaced as well.i won't take no for a answer if they try it and are more than happy to take the matter to county court as it's not fit for purpose.if I do this it will open the door to everyone if I win the case. The dealer as been good up to now but will see next week when they get back to me.i love a good flight when I think it's the correct thing

Absolutely appalled by the service we have received from Nissan, both servicing at a dealership and their customer service department.
Purchased a 2019 qashqai at the end of April, have driven it a below average amount and the thermostat housing failed in August. I can see now this is an issue they are aware of but don’t seem eager to fix before it affects consumers. The garage have had my vehicle for 5 weeks and after much chasing from me I’ve found out they haven’t even done a full diagnostic so I can’t receive a courtesy car (we’re still under warranty). I put a complaint in with Nissan who say they will contact within 2 days, yet I’m here a week later chasing for a response! No one seems to want to help. This has totally put my family off of Nissan , which we all thought would be a reliable company.

Reported a complaint in June re my new Qashqai. A case manager has still not been appointed. Endless calls met with "I have passed on your concerns ...." Complete loss of power on motorway for a fault which had a safety recall 8 weeks before which they hadn't told me about! No courtesy/ hire car offered despite Nissan Assistance saying I can have 1 for up to 3 days. Worse customer service ever. DO NOT BUY FROM NUSSAN.

SCAM ARTISTS!!!
Nissan know of thermostat housing fault in 2019 Qashqui which causes head gasket to blow. They are so aware of it they’re replacing under goodwill but DO NOT notify owners of this make and model this is the case. You’ll be left high and dry by Nissan if you get thermostat housing replaced outwith Nissan (which you will as you’ll have no idea why your vehicle has overheat and lost power. Also Nissans repair prices are ridiculous) they also won’t help if your full service history is not with them. Nissan are a complete joke! Had car for under 2 years and have had nothing but trouble and thousands spent on repairs. Good luck if you need to deal with LAUREN IN SERVICING at Parks Nissan Ayr. Never come across a ruder, unhelpful and unknowledgeable person in my life.
Get rid of your Nissans and buy elsewhere! Nissan after sales are shocking
Ps. Discuss what?! Customer Service has already said nothing they can do about head gasket failure as had thermostat housing replaced at local mechanic. Was told if had Thermostat replaced with Nissan it would all be covered under goodwill. NO ONE let us know after buying car from Nissan dealer 2 years ago that there was a known fault with this make and model. So how were we to know we should if brought it to you? Totally scammed by Nissan! Will never buy a Nissan again, left high and dry in a car I paid you over the odds for with Nissan knowing this is a very common fault….

Bought a Nissan Juke Tekna 3 years ago in a Fiji Sunset colour with black roof. It’s only 5 years old (Dec 70) but the intense sun this summer has caused the black paint to peel in places exposing the red paint underneath. Complained to Nissan but they won’t do anything as it was only serviced by a Nissan garage while it was under its 3 year warranty. The car has been regularly serviced since than at a local garage. Also the external driver’s keyhole cover fell off en route after hitting a pot-hole (I think) but Nissan has said they cannot supply a replacement, even though they are still making the car. This is my 2nd Juke but I won’t be buying another Nissan.

Very disappointed with Nissan – repeat alternator failure
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Nissan and, frankly, disgusted at how this situation has been handled.
I bought my 2023 Nissan Juke N-Connecta new, and at just 18 months old the alternator failed. It was repaired under the 3-year warranty and a new alternator was fitted.
Fast forward just two years and, with the car now at 29,933 miles, I’m dealing with another related failure – this time the alternator pulley and fan belt have failed. The car broke down suddenly, with my two young children in the vehicle, and I had to rely on the AA to get me safely to the Nissan dealership.
I have now sent around four emails to Nissan explaining that I am not prepared to simply authorise and pay for this repair until they provide me with full details of the work and parts that were fitted when the alternator was replaced two years ago. Given the history, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask questions before being expected to pay again.
What I find particularly disappointing is that Nissan seem to expect me to quietly accept a £269 repair bill as though this is just normal wear and tear. In my view, having an alternator replaced at 18 months and then experiencing another related failure only two years later, at only 29,933 miles, is far from reassuring.
I have previously owned two Nissan Jukes from new and have always had a good opinion of the brand. Unfortunately, this current Juke has been nothing but trouble and has completely changed my perception of Nissan.
I am still waiting for a response to my emails and formal complaint, so I will give Nissan the opportunity to address this properly. However, based on my experience so far, I am not expecting a positive outcome and I anticipate taking the matter further if necessary.
Very disappointed customer.

Very disappointed with Nissan UK's complaints process.
A formal complaint was raised on 5 July 2026 under Case 03004211. On 6 August, Nissan confirmed in writing that the case had reached “regional management escalation level” and that its final findings and proposed resolution would follow “shortly”.
Since then, emails sent on 13 August, 18 August and 8 September have all been completely ignored. No email response, no telephone call and no callback at all.
We have also made several telephone chasers, most recently on 8 September, when Nissan Customer Services advised that the continued lack of response would be raised internally with supervisors/managers. Still nothing.
It is now 16 September, more than 10 weeks since the original complaint was raised, and Nissan simply does not respond.
Whatever the eventual outcome of the underlying complaint, the complaint-handling process has been awful. Customers should not have to repeatedly email and telephone simply to get someone to respond to a formally escalated complaint.
If you are considering buying a Nissan, be aware that if you subsequently have an issue, our experience has been that getting Nissan Customer Services to actually engage and help resolve it can be extremely difficult.
Having given Nissan more than enough opportunity to deal with this internally, the matter will now be escalated to The Motor Ombudsman.
I bought a Nissan Qashqai in Feb 2026. this year.
In May it developed a fault, and I took it back to the garage in June.
It was then sat in the garage for around 10 weeks waiting for a "simple software" fix according to the garage.
Alexanders told me they had to wait for Nissan to provide the fix, as the car was under warranty, Nissan pointed out that the delay was on the garage.
With my car off the road, I was still paying tax and insurance.
When I eventually got the car back after continually chasing both for updates and complaining to both the dealer and Nissan
I asked Nissan and the dealer to extend the warranty by 3 months, which I believe to be a reasonable request!
All Nissan has tried to do is close my complaint and blame the local garage. The local garage had said they were chasing Nissan, but I have not had any further communication back.
During the 10 weeks, my wife wanted a new car and was interested in an X Trail.
She now has bought a Mercecedes due to my very poor experience. Very poor after sales service in my opinion from the garage and from Nissan.
You have now lost yet another customer Nissan!!
I have also now raised a case with the motor ombudsman.
Update 30.09.2026. After posting this I have now been given 12 month extra warranty. I shouldnt have had to chase for this after waiting nearly 3 months for a simple software fix, but thank you.

I’ve had a number of Nissan vehicles on PCP agreements. Prior to my Qashqai, Nissan had been helpful, but I feel this may have been to ensure upgrades. Following the 2022, and the rise in interest rates, I was locked into my deal and unable to upgrade due to the car being in negative equity. The car came into positive equity in the last 6 months of the agreement. Once I realised I tried to voluntary terminate. It took me multiple attempts via email and telecon to make contact with the team. I was on the phone for over 1 hour each time, with sometimes the call being ended not by me without speaking to someone. It took a minimum of 14 days to reply to my emails; often emails that required a response, which then led to another lengthy wait. When I had a call from them, it was lucky I was looking at my phone at work, to answer it and make arrangements. I was told to contact the inspection company, which I did, and was then informed that Nissan hadn’t authorised the voluntary termination, so I then had to wait another lengthy period of time before being able to progress. On inspection, I was informed of £420 worth of damage. I disputed this. Small scratches, conducive with normal wear and tear of having a car for 4 years, were deemed to cost £180 in repairs. Whilst I understand that these aspects are written into the fine print of contracts, the reality on the ground to the consumer is that they don’t anticipate high costs like this, with normal wear and tear of a car. I have since moved to a smaller car, on a hire purchase agreement with another company to give me more ownership and flexibility. I will never go with Nissan again, and I would highly recommend you never do so either.

Nissan Chester . Useless, I have a Nissan quashqai , it broke down in live lane due to faulty t.m.s on beginning of aug, again at end aug, I recieved a Nissan product recall by letter ,it was taken by rac to dealers on 4/9/26 I was told service and replacement t.m.software installed, I picked it up on monday 7/9/26. Today 9/9/26 again car totally failed again due to faulty t.m.software. Either a fault with new software, or software not inserted correctly, I now have to arrange rac to take back again to dealers, more calls more headaches as I spent 1 hr after breaking down trying to get through to service dept with no one answering,I had to ring another department to arrange that the car would be dropped off on 10th and they had the cheek to want to book it in for 22/9/26. They already had the car in to sort the fault not 6 days earlier. Customer service is discusting and I’m a motorbility customer so need my vehicle, I had to wait today 5 hrs for rac to rescue me and tow my car home as dealership was closed at 6 and rac didn’t come till 5. When you ring Nissan Chester you can’t get through to anyone it’s all a.i and if you do get through to someone your fobbed off for bookings weeks later.after my first fault with t.m. Software I had to book for appointment 5 weeks later till it broke down again in live lane and police had to attend and get it towed to the dealers. Now for 3rd time it’s happened again. Don’t buy Nissan, don’t if your motorbility customer use Nissan Chester , even though we have local Nissan dealers by me (Liverpool) they don’t service , everytime it’s back to Chester, more expense getting to and back. Car isn’t even 1yr old .avoid, avoid avoid Nissan Chester.and the cut and paste standard reply from Nissan shows lack of customer service, ie look at all the negative reviews on customer care.even when car had its first service I reported squeaky breaks(first service 29/8/26) I had to re book for breaks to be looked at and only day was believe it or not 13/10/26 Over 7 weeks later because they couldn’t supply a replacement car while it is in being fixed , that’s a huge problem for motorbility customers.the company don’t know who’s doing what, my car is in getting software fixed and breaks sorted, I was rung on fri 18/9 saying all done I asked about breaks, they hadn’t been done and I would hear following week,. Today they rang and asked me if I was still bringing car in??? They have had it a week already. Useless useless useless.. what is wrong with this dealers!!!!!! And notice Nissans reply . Ring customer service..where has been any customer service, after all the messing around what good is ringing after they have already failed time and time again !!!

well where do i start, having purchased a nissan townstar electric from bca car auctions in early 2025 under the assumption if anything goes wrong my nissan dealer is only 2 minutes away in halifax, its a no brainer with 4 years manufacturers warranty remaining..... how wrong could i be
firstly the suspension started knocking and booked it in for a repair apparently the screws on the suspention leg came loose but it is a nine week wait as they dont stock parts in the uk in the mean time i had a navarra courtesy car kindly lent to me supplied by my local nissan dealer ,eventually i had the van returned and had covered about 200 miles when i suffered a catastrophic power failure in the fast lane of the m62 in leeds and avoiding a near death experience, with the car advising me to visit my local dealer, booked the van in and despite protestations in abundance could not get an answer as to the cause of the said failure ,,, this started in april/may 2025 and despite several visits to my local agent complaining of the unsuitability of the courtesy car (not a van)for my job, late in may this year , so some 12 months to tell me what i already knew,,they finally came back with the news the van cannot be repaired and is terminal and they wished as a gesture of goodwill to pay me out , it is now september 2026 some 16 months later and still i havent even had an offer from nissan uk ,,, after spending £15,000 on a 4,000 miles almost new product to be ignored and my solicitor has wrote several times to no avail i am still awaiting a settlement offer ,,, disgusting treatment of customers from a product that is clearly faulty but no calls no help niche im afraid and will certainly not be purchasing a nissan product again for my firm

Before I give my five star review on the dealership, let me tell you of my dismal experience of your My Nissan app. My dealer set it all up on Saturday and told me it would be paired in a couple of hours. Well here we are 76 hours later and I am still waiting. Nissan Customer Services UK seem to be completely oblivious of any problems with the Nissan server, but online reviews say a recent upgrade has caused chaos and unhappy Nissan owners. Even worse, I am still waiting for a call back initiated 30 hours ago that the message said would happen in one minute and a reply to an email which simply has not happened. Shockingly poor support.
The first thing you need to do is sort out your technology. The dealer was excellent.

DO NOT BUY NISSAN
I have a Nissan Qahqai with endless problems. Such a cheaply made car here in UK. borrowing parts from other car makers has made this once iconic reliable brand to one of the worst UNRELIABLE cars ever.

I bought a brand new T33 X Trail the epower engine has failed and Nissan will not replace under the warranty claiming that the service intervals had not been followed they stated that it is 9000 miles yet the car itself states 9320 which I have followed with it being my work car some have gone over the 9320 and the service light was reset at the time of service, The warranty claimed that the car should of had 5 services but the main dealer sent them a picture showing that there was 1214 left until the 5th service even Nissans own customer care services say it should be repaired as it has been regularly serviced I think it is shocking when the car cost £46000.

My car suffered a major engine failure and has now been off the road for over a month. Nissan promised an update by 2 September — nothing. I’ve chased repeatedly and still no answers.
I don’t know whether the new engine will have a warranty, how long repairs will take, or whether the engineer they sent was independent.
Having a loan car doesn’t excuse the complete lack of communication or the delays. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Nissan have the worst customer service I have ever experienced!
I have recently had cause to complain and they ignore your emails with no answers.
I then wrote to the Managing Director’s Team who to my disbelief also ignored my email with NO REPLY!!! This tells you everything about Nissan!!!
Please think very hard before buying a Nissan car, their after service and customer service is non existent!!!
I have owned Nissans since 2004 but will never buy another Nissan vehicle!
Ignorant company and management appalling just ignoring customers emails!
I will now be buying a make of car where you feel like a valued customer!
Don’t buy a Nissan that is from my experience, worst company ever and by looking at all the other negative reviews this proves my point!!!!!!!!!

Don’t buy a Nissan! Especially a Juke! Clutch issues and you’re on your own when it goes wrong! The Customer service is horrendous’
This is the review I left for the dealership but I have changed the name to Nissan Dealership as this would apply to any of their dealerships because Nissan just don’t care and don’t bother to get back to you. The dealerships basically represent Nissan GB and sell the cars on their behalf!
Buy a different make of car please!
Don’t purchase from a Nissan dealership - you will regret is as we do! The dealership appears to be all that you expect of a main dealership until something goes wrong and you ask them to repair what was clearly a faulty vehicle at sale at their cost. They refuse to because although the vehicle was under 4 years when purchased and we have only done 4000 miles in it in 7 months the clutch has gone! Quoted us £2300. Not possibly our fault when we had a Honda previous to the Nissan Juke and drove over 50000 miles in it over a number of years and never had an issue with clutch. Can you imagine purchasing a vehicle from a main dealership where you know you pay over the odds and such a huge component breaks after such a short number of miles. You have a warranty which they won’t pay out on because it’s classed as wear and tear and it fails at 7 months and you have to try and find £2300
You may as well go to a local garage and buy a vehicle much cheaper because they aren’t reliable at a Nissan dealership.
I am more than disappointed
Legally as per the consumer rights 2015 act as just over the 6 months mark, we have to prove the car was faulty at purchase snd they know this, so won’t pay to repair it. The dealership are not what I would call decent people to do this.
Nissan GB are useless! Nissan jukes are renowned for clutch issues but unless you pay for internal diagnostics you can’t prove it’s a mechanical failure.
You can not rely on a Nissan juke so don’t buy one and you definitely can not rely on s Nissan dealership so go elsewhere!!
We will be seeing them in court but it is hassle we could do without!

Your cars can only survive with apps these days- All seem to fail miserably. Every month we are told it needs a software update? Now even Nissan connect has packed in past month as you can no longer update it! Now display units are turning off as they have a Bug and no explanation as to a fix? Display unit screens also now found to have issues with anti glare screens! Terrible Cars.

A couple of months after buying my brand-new Nissan Qashqai from the Nissan dealership in Crewe, I received a letter explaining that there was an issue that required a "Recall appointment" so that my car could have a software modification. There was no offer from them to come and collect my car to get the job done and no offer of a courtesy car for me to use while my car was being worked on. This meant of course that I would have to arrange to drop my car off at Nissan myself, arrange for someone to take me home after the drop off and then take me back again to collect my car once the job was done. Not ideal but the work needed doing so I booked an appointment on their website which was at an appointed time of 11.30am, with a collection time of 12.30pm, when my car should be ready. Because it would be easier for me to drop my car off the DAY BEFORE the actual appointment date, I phoned Nissan and asked if this would be okay. The lady I spoke to said it would not be a problem and that I should drop my car keys off at the reception desk. I arrived at Nissan and went to the reception desk to hand over my car keys. Instead of taking them, the two ladies at the reception asked me to go to the end office on the left and hand the keys to Lucy???? Not what I had been told but hey ho. I got to Lucies office and she was on the phone. She looked up at me and suggested I take a seat and wait. I declined and waited by her office door as my wife had dropped me and was waiting in her car to take me home. After waiting for several minutes, I asked Lucy if she was going to be long. She said she would be and could she help. So I quickly explained why I was dropping off my car and which bay it was parked in. At her request, I even left her the letter that explained the reason for the car being dropped off. Of course, dropping off my car was a massive inconvenience, as was arranging for someone - my wife - to pick me up in her car after the drop off and then take me back to collect my car once the job was finished!!
On the next day, the day of the actual appointment at 11.30am, despite the completion time being 12.30pm, I waited until 1.45pm for a phone call to say my car was ready, which I never received. So, at 1.45pm, I phoned the Nissan Dealership to see if my car was ready. I spoke to Leah who explained that my car had not yet been worked on. She put me on hold while she spoke to Lucy, the lady I had dropped the keys and letter off with, who LIED and told Leah that she (Lucy) had told me that my car might not be ready until 5.00pm. NO SHE DIDN'T!!Not only do Nissan expect customers to organise their own time and effort and expense and inconvenience in order to get their car into the garage for a fault fix that is not their own fault but they are completely INCOMPETENT AND they also resort to LYING. Leah made some effort to FINALLY get my car worked on and phoned me just before 4pm to say the work had been done! I was angry of course and so after collecting my car, I placed a bad review on Google. I quickly got a reply from the Nissan service manager, asking me to contact her by email, which I foolishly did. This service manager responded with a brief apology for the confusion over the appointment time but followed on by trying to FOB ME OFF with my other complaints. She COMPLETELY IGNORED the fact that Lucy had LIED when she said she had told me that my car might not be ready until 5pm. I actually raised this lie issue with her again and she completely ignored it AGAIN. She offered me a 15% discount off my first service but I will NEVER use Nissan Crewe ever again. This sort of discount offer is a common routine to try to get angry customers to forget the wrongs that have been done and no doubt it works with many people – BUT NOT ME. I am completely DISGUSTED by Nissan Crewe and especially the way that the Service Manager not only tried to fob me off but has basically condoned the lie of her subordinate Lucy. I will NEVER use them again for any reason or buy another car from them. My wife also bought a used Nissan Juke a few months ago and it was due a full service and needed some repair work doing. She had planned to take it Nissan Crewe. But since my experience, she took it to ANOTHER GARAGE instead and spent over £800 on the full service and repair, which was done on time, as arranged and without lies, something Nissan Crewe are incapable of doing!!

Disappointing experience with paid subscription service
I am writing this review to detail an ongoing issue with my paid monthly subscription for Nissan App.
Despite paying the recurring subscription fee, the app services have been completely unavailable for weeks due to persistent outage errors and maintenance issues. I have reached out to customer support to report the problem and request resolution, but the service remains non-functional while payments continue to be processed.
I expect paid services to be rendered reliably. Until the service is fully restored and outages are resolved, I cannot recommend this subscription.
