Been waiting days for an appointment to replace cracked windscreen today was the day after waiting to be told the windscreen only came in last night and called at 8am to say the bad news is the windscreen came in cracked disappointed and feel very upset

They replaced my front screen and damaged both trims, been messsd around for 4 weeks apparently waiting for parts, even though I can get them myself in 2 days from fords. Went into Colchester depot to tell them this and they wasn’t interested at all, absolutely disgusting service I will never use them again,

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I booked National Windscreens to replace the sunroof on my Mercedes-Benz, expecting a professional, high-quality job from a well-known national company. I couldn’t have been more wrong – this was the worst, most careless and incompetent service I have ever paid for, and my car is now far worse off than before.

From the second the work was finished, it was obvious the whole job was botched. The new sunroof glass hasn’t been fitted properly at all – it sits completely uneven, isn’t flush or level with the roofline, there are ugly gaps all around the edges, and it is clearly not aligned or secured correctly. It looks terrible, rushed repair job you’d get from an unqualified backstreet garage, not a supposed specialist windscreen and glass company.

Worse still? Before the replacement, my sunroof opened and closed perfectly fine. Now? It doesn’t open at all! It is stuck shut, completely non-functional and now I’m left with a misaligned sunroof that doesn’t even do the one thing it’s meant to do. When the technician realized that he couldn’t fix it he called the Colchester branch manager for advice and the manager said I must take it to other place to fix their messy on my expense.

When I called to complain, the customer service team were completely unhelpful and they didn’t want to connect me to the local branch manager and told me they is nothing they can do– They refused to take any responsibility, wouldn’t send anyone out to put it right, and acted like I was the problem for expecting a proper, working replacement that fits correctly, I’M SO FRUSTRATED

Initial contact was very difficult to establish, phone calls unanswered for a long time. Then the apt. was not kept and again communication was so hard to establish, after nearly 3 hours another apt was made, and thereafter the service from the fitter was excellent. He also phoned me to tell when to expect him.
