Car problem

Hi, the problem is had was resolved really quickly, Natasha was always there to help, she kept me up to date with everything that was happening, can't thank her enough. To be fair it was a painless process in the end.I think it would be good if other companies had this approach to customer service and understanding customers frustrations, Natasha is a credit to your company. Extremely disappointed with how…

Extremely disappointed with how MotoNovo Finance have handled our vehicle quality complaint.

We purchased a Nissan Navara through MotoNovo Finance in June 2025 and within approximately 4 months the vehicle began suffering serious mechanical faults including engine management issues, cooling system faults, coolant leaks, EGR cooler failures and further ongoing engine-related problems.

Since then we have spent over £6,500 on repairs, diagnostics and investigations, and the vehicle is still currently in the garage awaiting further repairs and remains unusable.

What has been most frustrating is the way the complaint has been handled. Despite providing extensive invoices, dealership diagnostics and evidence showing the faults first arose within the first six months of ownership, MotoNovo Finance have focused on when the formal complaint was raised rather than when the actual faults began.

We initially tried to resolve matters reasonably through the warranty and repair process in good faith before escalating formally, but now feel we are being penalised for trying to cooperate first.

The lack of support, empathy and fair investigation has caused significant financial stress and inconvenience, especially while preparing for the arrival of our baby and being left without a reliable family vehicle.

Very disappointing experience and we have now escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and carefully consider alternative finance providers.
