As a first time I was extremely nervous and wary about everything, but the whole team Kirsty, Rachel and Daniel put my mind at ease, they let me know everything that was going on, what would happen next, how things were going, I’m extremely grateful to them for all of their help.

As a self employed construction worker is not always easy to sort a mortgage out ringing new wave was the best decision I made !

As a new Director of a Limited Company, I had no idea who I should approach about trying to get a mortgage. I read some really positive reviews about New Wave on a contractor website, that highly recommended New Wave. So I gave them a call and right from the very first call, I felt supported, informed, and well looked after. Dan and Rachel made the mortgage application so straight forward for me. They took all the stress and strain out of the whole process. Excellent communication, excellent advice, and clearly outlined all our options. The whole process was incredibly smooth and whenever I needed anything from them, Even if urgent, both Rachel and Dan, were always available to help me out. I can't recommend them highly enough!!! Thank you so much for your excellent support and advice!

Wow.....my partner and I are both self employed, we were getting knocked back by local finance advisors or being given ridiculous figures for a mortgage that would not buy a shed......then we found Daniel and Rachel at New Wave, they made everything so easy, much less stress and got us the mortgage we needed and at a good rate too! 10/10 all round

Molly was my main contact there, and she was incredibly helpful, and friendly in the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else in my situation.

Would like to say thanks to the team at new wave for all there hard work.

The Good: Secured the mortgage: They successfully found a lender for our complex limited company application.
The Bad:
- Terrible recommendations: They introduced us to Ackroyd solicitors, who provided an awful service. I imagine they took a cut for the recommendation.
High maintenance: I had to continually push to keep the application moving forward as certain things had got stuck in a holding pattern. eg I had to contact the lender, Newcastle Intermediaries, myself to fix a critical error because they had the wrong email address for my accountant and contact the lender directly for critical emails for the sale.
Quite expensive: Although certain people in the company were responsive, I felt the broker fee was quite expensive and that they were constantly trying to upsell us services.
Verdict: While they ultimately achieved the main goal, the high cost, administrative stress, and very poor third-party recommendations made for a frustrating experience.

New Wave have looked after our mortgage applications twice now, and both times we have felt in such safe hands, and nothing is too much hassle. Thank you to Debbie and to Rachel for taking such good care of our application and for working so hard to keep us updated and informed. Thank you, Andy and Kathryn x
