Very disappointed with the after-sales service from Morris Homes.

I purchased a new-build apartment in 2022 and am still waiting for my LABC warranty certificate nearly four years later. Despite numerous emails and phone calls to Morris Home, communication has been poor and updates have been extremely limited.

The most frustrating part has been the lack of ownership and responsiveness in resolving what should be a fundamental document for any homeowner.

I hope Morris Homes will now take the necessary action to resolve this matter promptly.

Happy to say I have had a positive experience in my quest to find my new home at Station Grange in Coventry. Jess, in particular, I have found to be lovely and personable, as well as knowledgeable about the houses and the development. It's been helpful having the same person to communicate with during the process of securing a home too :).

We recently purchased a new property on the grange estate - was very excited as we had an older property before and looking forward to having all new. The service before completion cannot fault Morris Homes. Very helpful until we exchanged contracts - the 1st couple of months the property was great, then the issues started, which we expected being a new build. What we wasnt expecting was the lack of customer care from Morris. We are nearly 18 months in and still refusing to sign happy with the purchase. So far our bi fold doors have been attended to 7 times and adjusted as they keep sticking with us having to use our annual leave and wait in all day (issue not been resolved 18 months in). We have also had 6 visits for ticking pipes all through the house, had my ceiling ripped out patched 3 times with plasters and painter and cleaners coming ever other day. Again this issue hasnt been resolved and are still ticking with no luck from Morris of having it sorted. I have had two new front doors as they wouldnt lock and sit right (this is one issue now resolved). The area manager doesnt respond to any emails and seems to ignore us even though he was supposed to be dealing with the issues. The site manager we have never seen so all in all the after care is awful but the house is lovely if issues have been sorted.

We have been looking at homes at Alconbury Weald for a couple of years. The time was finally right and after going to all the builders we finally settled on Morris Homes. We have met Meghan the sales advisor several times, she is so knowledgeable and has made the process so easy so far. The house we have chosen is so lovely. Can’t wait to move in.

Ann at Alconbury weald was excellent helping us choose tiles carpets etc for our recently reserved new home and kept us smiling and fed with biscuits and tea 5 stars thanks Ann it was a pleasure rather than a chore

Chris from Arden Park was a star. We have reserved a home with him today and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. We knew that we would be in safe hands!

I called into Sherbourne estates at Arden Park and I must say that the representative Tracey was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional, she answered all my questions and provided me with a comprehensive information pack.

Myself and my boyfriend had an appointment with Carol at the ‘St Mary’s Park’ development in Preston. She made us feel so welcome and overall made it such a lovely experience! Would definitely recommend.

Paula and Jo at Bartle Meadows have been incredible throughout the whole home buying process. From our initial interest, throughout the sale and post completion. We have been in the house almost a month now and the site manager Matt has also been fantastic with us. We are now with customer care team and they have been super quick with responses and always happy to help. No job or query has been too small, all the staff have been brilliant! All round positive experience with Morris homes and would happily recommend them if you're looking for a new home.

It's 7 years since we bought from this shambolic business. In Standish on the Fairway estate, two main spine roads remain unsurfaced. As a consequence the council refuses to adopt, resulting in the whole estate being overgrown by weeds and looking disgraceful.
They have also still failed to fulfill the section 106 obligations. Come and look for yourself at this unsightly estate.
Don't buy from this incompetent group.

Rob at Shelbourne Hunsbury Grange was exceptional, showed us the plots with real enthusiasm (something other builders lacked) took time to get to know me and my partner. We will be returning shortly for our second viewing which we are excited for😁

We popped in to look at how a new property might work for us and we were greeted by Tracey. Her approach was very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble in guiding us through what was available. The fittings in the show homes were of good quality and we will definitely consider buying with Tracey if we decide to down size. Can highly recommended.

It was nice speaking to the staff as the process was well explained to us.

We have recently purchased a new home with Morris on the Greenmount Manor development in Bury. We have been in the property for just over three weeks. Having purchased a new build previously through a national house builder, I had a perception of how the process would be and the issues that may crop up. With Morris it has been such a positive experience for us and we couldn't be happier with our new home. I would just like to say a big thank you to Claire Glassey from the sales office who has been extremely friendly and supportive through the whole process ( So lovely that we wish she was going to be one of our neighbours!) And also thank you to Dean the site manager, he really has gone out of his way to make sure that we have settled in to our home and made sure that everything has been to our satisfaction throughout.

Kim at Houghton Grange was a great help. She is really knowledgeable about the the properties, the options and the whole process.

Hannah has been a great help from a friendly welcome on our first visit to spending time with us helping us with our choices and patiently explaining things to us. We’re in safe hands!
