I've used Moneyfarm for a few years and they've helped me save a significant amount with little effort on my end. They are constantly managing and changing my portfolio to match the market and I trust them with my money.

Responses to inquiries were often delayed, and when assistance was provided, it lacked the depth and clarity needed to properly resolve issues or answer important questions. This created unnecessary stress, especially when dealing with financial matters that require trust and confidence.

While I’m happy with my 3 month old S&Share ISA performance, I have to say their customer service is pathetic!!
Five working days to respond to emails.
Pretty poor service when you do get a response (eg they haven’t been able to find my account using my email or my full name!)
I reckon they just haven’t bothered!
So I’m about to move my ISA elsewhere!

Great investment platform. The app is easy to use. For topping up investments or checking in on them. 7 plus different levels of risk for your stocks and shares ISA.
Plenty of advice too either AI chat or book an advisor over the phone.
Would recommend.

AVOID. Slow and difficult to get your money out. Not comfortable that they are a safe place for my money.
The “bonus” interest on my cash ISA which is payable after 12 months didn’t appear, had to chase them, taking another 2 weeks before it was added, during which time they advised me not to transfer to another provider before the bonus interest was added.
Difficult to contact, slow to reply, takes forever to get your money out, spending your days chasing customer services.
This company milk the “15 day guideline” to the max, then add more delays, making it slow and difficult to withdraw or transfer your money away from them.
I have been trying for 2 months to transfer my cash ISA from Moneyfarm to HSBC and still not completed. So Moneyfarm are sitting on my money for >2 months after the interest rate ended.
They require paper forms to be completed and sent by post, then wait the full 15 working days (3 weeks) after receiving it before processing the form, then say it is rejected due to an address mismatch. On calling them, the form is perfectly correct but Moneyfarm have supposedly not recorded my house name on their file. So they now request proof of address sending (council tax bill), which they already received when i opened the account. More time delays. Then they correct THEIR records and say it will be another 15 working days to process the transfer ….. on and on it goes, delay tactics to sit on your money at low interest for even longer.
The chat service always says “unavailable”, emails take several weeks for a pointless reply. The phone system is occasionally answered, but often just tells you everyone is busy and that they will call you back, which they don’t.
A simple process anywhere else is a long winded nightmare with Moneyfarm.
My 12 month fixed rate ISA with HSBC is now 2 months old and still has a £0 balance, while Moneyfarm sit on my money paying their low standard rate. Absolute racket. The good interest rate I got at Moneyfarm for 12 months has been completely undone by them keeping the money an extra 2 months after the fixed rate finished.
If you want to be strung along and have nothing better to do than chase customer services every few days, listening to recorded messages and then told “all our agents are busy” and cut off, then this is the place to put your money.
Easy to give them your money, but a circus trying to get it back.
If you are reading this Moneyfarm, you need to employ more staff, get rid of the pointless chat service if you can’t make it work or put real humans on it, and stop treating customers like they are stupid. We know what your are doing. There is no excuse for taking the full 15 day maximum guideline as your target, you can easily process a transfer promptly, you just don’t.
I have learned my lesson, I will stick with the well known banks from now on.
UPDATE -another week gone by and still waiting! Whenever I call they just tell me it’s “in progress” but can’t tell when it will be done. Meanwhile they have my money at a low rate, and my new ISA with another provider still has nothing in it, waiting for this eternal transfer.
No excuse for this tardy heel dragging. It’s just a bank account, not shares, it can be transferred instantly. Terrible. I can’t wait to get away from Moneyfarm.
UPDATE 5/6/26. yet another week gone by and still no money. Spoke to customer services who are utterly confused, they don’t know what is happening, tried to tell me they are waiting for the “other provider” to get back to them. They actually think I’m transferring money TO Moneyfarm, not away from Moneyfarm. Absolute chaos. Nothing is happening, no one is doing anything, they are absolutely clueless. INCOMPETENT CHAOS.
We are now into the 3rd month of trying to withdraw my money and they don’t have a clue what is going on.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY.
UPDATE 16/6/26. Finally my money has been transferred out to HSBC. No interest was added over that last couple of weeks, but I don’t care. I’m just glad to be away from this outfit.
I have now deleted the app and will never, ever, put money with Moneyfarm again.

Cash isa initiated by YBS on 20/04/2026, isa liquidated 07/05/2026 interest payment stopped, cash arrived in YBS suspense account 12/05/2026, now 18/05/2026 YBS still awaiting paperwork to access money, no access to my own money, absolutely awful service, seem many other of your customers have experienced the same,

I have been investing with Moneyfarm for several years now. They make investing simple. I most like the user friendly which clearly allows you to monitor and make amendments to portfolio if necessary.

Very efficient service when withdrawing money from our ISA. Good oversight and security that does not impact ease of use. Well done

PLEASE AVOID THIS INSTITUTION AT ALL COSTS. I am a senior exec of a construction Co. for the past forty years and hand on heart this is the worst Company I have ever dealt with. They are untrustworthy, inefficient and require a new broom if they are to survive. Very easy to lodge money but try and retrieve your savings is another matter. Jason Chapman the CEO appears to be impotent when dealing with the enormous amount of negative feedback this Co. is experiencing at present, the statement ' fail to prepare-prepare to fail' is significant here and would be surprised the fate of the future of this organisation, as they have no understanding or care for their customers requirements. BEWARE!

Extremely slow support via email and never possible to speak to a person on live chat support, have tried multiple times across this week at various days and times and always unavailable. Trying to transfer a cash isa out to another provider with a better rate and not receiving the support needed from MoneyFarm, not heard anything via email for 3 days now.

Reasonably satisfied on the whole, although costs could always be cheaper, however you do get regulated advice to a degree. Performance is good and Moneyfarm provide regular market updates and performance reports on your chosen profile.
Always someone available to talk to at the end of the phone or via email. Ideal for novice investor and the more experienced.

Very good returns (at the moment; who knows what the future will bring? Lots of lolly I hope, though “present returns are no guarantee of future...etc.”).
I hold an ISA with them.
Lots of on-line support and opportunities for discussion relating to personal finance and investing, etc,
A good, efficient website adds to the bliss.
Highly recommended.

The stocks and shares ISA had a very good growth rate, with planning and good advice available if needed. The app allows you to see what's going on at any time.

Moneyfarm offer an excellent cost effective platform for my investments. I was so impressed with their service I transferred my SIPP across to them saving a considerable amount in charges but with similar returns. Great staff who are always on hand to offer help and support.

Reading some of the poor reviews for this company, I'm beginning to think that keir Starmer might be in charge, which if true is worrying for all of us with money tied up with them, think I'll relocate my funds to another provider should be sorted for Christmas if I act quickly

I’ve been with Moneyfarm for over 5 years now and the experience has been consistently solid. Having a dedicated Wealth Manager makes a massive difference; it’s reassuring to have a direct point of contact who actually understands my financial goals rather than just being a face in a queue. Their referral system is also a nice perk, as the discounted fees add up over time. They occasionally run transfer bonuses which are well worth keeping an eye on if you're looking to consolidate your portfolio.

Thoroughly enjoying using moneyfarm. They are currently over exceeding my expectation. Very easy to use. Takes away the stress of me investing and also looking at the market every day

I opened a cash ISA with moneyfarm at the end of March and I was informed by an agent that a transfer request from my current ISA holder was submitted on the 8 April. As there was still no transfer evident at the end of the month I contacted both moneyfarm and my previous ISA holder who informed me that moneyfarm had never submitted the request (moneyfarm never responded). Almost a week after querying this and sending a second email to moneyfarm and I'm still waiting for any kind of response. Needless to say I will not be using them any longer for any investments. Disappointingly unprofessional.
