My recent experience with Mercuryo was mixed.
I placed a SEPA order for €1,100 to purchase ETH. The order initially displayed an expected amount of 0.76816661273806332 ETH.
The transfer was processed successfully and I ultimately received 0.751813618305456486 ETH. While the difference itself was not huge, what concerned me was the lack of transparency around how the final amount was determined.
When I contacted support, I initially received an explanation that the exchange rate was agreed and locked when the order was created. After further investigation, I was later informed that the original quote had expired and that the transaction was executed using a refreshed market quote when the payment was processed.
The support team eventually acknowledged that earlier communications may have created confusion and apologized for the misunderstanding.
My main criticism is transparency. Mercuryo was unable to provide the exact execution rate, pricing breakdown, spread, quote expiration timestamp, or transaction-level pricing details. Customers are therefore expected to trust the final result without being able to independently verify the calculation.
To be fair, the ETH was delivered successfully and the support team remained professional throughout the discussion. However, I believe customers would benefit from much clearer information about:
how long quotes remain valid,
when quotes expire,
when payments are considered received,
and how final execution amounts are calculated.
I would use the service again only for convenience, but for larger transactions I would personally prefer platforms that provide greater pricing transparency.

Mercuro upped fee after I pressed purchase
Payment went through in less than 3 minutes. Mercuro however quoted a fee of $98. However after I clicked purchase they raised it to $110. That's BS.

Verification process
A verification process that was initiated yesterday and could take 24 to 48 hours was completed this morning in less than 24 hours. I was able to simply continue my work today and complete my transactions without unnecessary delay or loss of time.

I have snet from my German bank to mercuryo to pay for one of my orders 13 days ago with the SEPA INSTANT transfer, and still the cutomer service telling me to wait, unless yesterday I have reached Customer service no one have had contacted me regardingmy order! They literally don't care about their customers and just opening tickets and telling to wait!
Not even one customer service have ahd an experince to help for my matter, and always saying sorry you need to wait! I've been waiting for 13 days! IT's literally disrespect to customers!
