What a scam site!

What a scam site. Placed an order but they have no stock they go and buy these things so you wait for them to go and check wheee they can buy and when they can’t find it they don’t bother telling you. Once I chased up they then refunded me but kept my money in the meantime. Don’t waste your time or money using this site!

Poor Communication: Caution Advised for McGrocer Shoppers

I placed an order with McGrocer (Order #MG8431), and despite paying in full, I have yet to receive my items. I have been informed about potential import restrictions; however, my order does not contain any restricted items such as baby formula, medicines, animal-origin products, or alcoholic beverages.

My order was for Velo Nicotine Pouches Ice Cool Strong 10mg x20, from Sainsburys, which should not be subject to such restrictions.I expect a prompt and clear resolution. If my order is not received without further undue delay, I will be compelled to consider legal recourse to recover my costs.

This is a warning to others to be cautious when ordering from this website due to these unexpected and unjustifiable complications.

The customer care is very interactive and very personal, it felt like a live experience and my problems were easily resolved giving me satisfaction at days end.

Rocky start great finish

Came quickly well packed. Little hassle whilst getting ready to ship. Extra charge for shipping. I do think that should have been waved as you know how much they weigh and how much to ship internationally. If I’d known from the start I would have paid anyway. Hey Ho. All in all great

Snax! Love,!

Ordering process was (mostly) easy except it kept emptying my basket if I had to log out for a bit and log back in. Items arrived mostly safely and the couple issues I had with replacement products were promptly resolved after contacting them (give them a day or so to respond and they will). Yes the shipping charge is high but the quality of service goes a ways to compensate that. Very happy overall.

McGrocer Saved The Day!

I picked up an item in the airport, that I'd never tried. Made it back to The States and realized it was a hit and really wished I had more. It took some time, but finally tracked it down on McGrocer! The packaging was perfect for the liquid freight. I'd certainly order, again!

Extortionate postage charge

Was going to order an item (Harrods biscuits) that I couldn’t find elsewhere but when I went to checkout they had added £45 delivery charge which was more than the item itself How can that amount even be justified for mailing a box of biscuits ?

In cases where an order is cancelled and your payment is still in escrow, the item is immediately voided, and the payment gateway is instructed to process a refund automatically. It's important to note that in such instances, there will be no refund visible in your account because no deduction was made from your bank balance. We encourage customers to compare their bank balance before and after the transaction to observe this.

For cases where we capture the payment, there might be a 3 - 7 days delay in the refund reflecting in your account. This is typically due to processing times between the payment gateway and your bank. While such delays are rare, we recently encountered technical errors with a specific payment system provider, squareup.com x Bankful. We addressed this issue and, as a precaution, ceased using the service providers involved.

Regarding the mention of a fraudulent transaction on your credit card, please be assured that we take such allegations very seriously. We extend an invitation for you to provide concrete evidence to support your claims. Should you present irrefutable proof of a non-refund, we commit to taking immediate action to rectify the situation and compensate you for any damages. However, without such evidence, we may need to reserve the right to pursue legal action for defamation and malicious damage if/when we're able to identify your true identity.
