This is a gentle reminder to Mayfair Plumbers. In case you had forgotten. You promised to send me a parts and labour invoice to show how a pump I saw online for £85.20 resulted in a final bill for £720.00 to buy and install.

I know you kept me waiting on the day, but I still didn’t think it would take this long to let me have the receipt. Perhaps your festive season was very merry (unlike mine because of my massive credit card bill), and you have forgotten, I just thought I’d remind you.

So, I had to call because they did not arrive at the specified time and no contact to let me know.

Turn up late, no apology!

The pump fitted is, Archergas Heating Standard 15-60/130. (Google it to see how much they cost).
Final bill for parts and labour, £720.00. My credit card company declined the transaction twice, because I do not usually spend that king of money. I had to confirm it was genuine. It was coming up to winter, and I was worried I would have no heating.

From the time I called Mayfair Plumbers to the time I confirmed with my credit card company that the transaction was genuine, was almost 3 hours to the minute. I cannot confirm the time they finally arrived and also, some time was spent getting the new pump. I really wish I had all that information so anyone reading this could work out for themselves what they think the breakdown for parts and labour was. Mayfair Plumbers have refused to provide the parts and labour receipt I was promised.

The new pump did not fix the problem; (Mayfair Plumbers had warned me that might be the case). Thankfully, another company fitted a new boiler for a lot less than Mayfair Plumbers had quoted me and included more extras.

I have stuck to the facts, that’s why Mayfair Plumbers have tried to find another way of getting my review removed. Do you really think Trust Pilot would allow a defamatory review on their website.

Andrew was the engineer for our plumbing job. He couldn’t have done a better job at keeping us in the loop and ensuring we were happy with his recommended next steps. He really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Mayfair plumbers as a result.

I wish I could give Kevin at Mayfair Plumbers a million stars. After having our boiler break and having 7 British Gas engineers in to look and it and no one able to fix it I was very much at the point of giving up - enduring no hot water or heating through the coldest weather we've had for nearly 2 months.
We contacted Mayfair Plumbers and were beyond delighted that they sent us Kevin - who was incredibly experienced, there is nothing about boilers he doesnt know. I can't rate Kevin highly enough - he was so calm, so helpful and did a deep dive into the issue that no one else seemed to be able to sort.
Thanks to Kevin my boiler has been running so smoothly - its beyond amazing to have a warm flat again and a hot shower. I really thought it could never be fixed but he managed it.
From now on I am only trusting Kevin to sort this boiler out and will have him on speed dial for any plumbing issues.

Alan arrived on the day requested. He identified 2 problems caused by shoddy and incompetent third party contractors and was able to resolve both faults within the space of an hour. Have had no further problems with noises coming from the boiler room when the hot water taps in the bathroom and kitchen. are used. Would recommend Mayfair Plumbers if an emergency occurs.

My mother’s boiler completely failed in January, and after a couple of very prompt visits from Kevin, it became clear that it needed to be replaced. Kevin was professional throughout and took care of everything from start to finish. The installation was carried out by Kevin and Iso, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how quickly and efficiently they worked. Both were extremely professional, and the whole process was handled smoothly and with great care.

Darren from Mayfair plumbers first condemned my boiler and switched it off - to my horror - but came back the next day, with his colleage, and fitted a new one, staying well into the evening until the job was completed. It turned out to be quite a complicated job so my initial concern, about the cost of the job, was laid aside. They did a good job and cleaned up well after themselves, helping me put back items we had had to move. This was in the recent cold spell so their quick response to turning off my boiler was very welcome.

Reliable and affordable plumbing service. Nazli was excellent and very easy to deal with.
