Bought a framed picture online to collect at the Asda Minworth store. Went to pick it up a few days later, staff couldn't find it, not apologetic and dare I say quite combative in their handling of it... See more

I visited the store located within Tesco in Mansfield and was served by a young lady called Molly. It was the anniversary of my mother’s passing and I popped in on the off chance to have a photo of her printed to put in a frame I had bought. Molly was the kindest person, and went out of her way to make me feel special. I left with tears in my eyes as it’s so rare these days for people to be kind. What an exemplary human being. Thank you Molly
Tracey who served us was lovely
Very professional and knowledgeable

Misleading - You can't access photos taken from photo booths unless it's for a passport. Photos needed for driving license are useless and wasted time and money. Booths are not clear that you can only use for passports. Apparently there was an option to enter an email address at the booth, this was not clear in any way (I was looking for how when taking them) so will also restrict anyone who is not technically minded, older or with learning disabilities, VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not be recommending or using again

I've just left Tesco in Linwood, after attempting to use the photo Koisk.
I had cash on me,so I decided to use that. I went for the £12 option, so the machine must've sensed that a customer was using it. After a minute, it ejected the legal £10 note that I had inserted, but not the £2 coin.
I had noticed that the coin seemed to hit the bottom of an empty metal cash storage box. Maybe the machine isn't trained to deal with cash, and needs a reboot or something. I'm not bothered about the money, it's the principle of the thing.
Don't advertise what you can't provide. Things are hard enough.

I'm writing this review to express my deepest, most heartfelt gratitude for the service I received from Max Spielmann, and more specifically, from "Caitlin" in the Customer Support team.
As a high-functioning neurodivergent individual, I often find that my "hyper-focuses" and specific interests can be met with a lack of understanding or, at worst, outright-judgment, or social/societal-ostracisation.
I approached Max Spielmann through their website (maxphoto.co.uk) with what I consider to be a deeply-personal, very subjective, and sensitive enquiry regarding the production of personalised canvases. My request involved imagery that could be deemed erotic in nature and focused on a very specific niche area of interest for me.
From the very first exchange, Caitlin was the epitome of professionalism. She was incredibly speedy in her responses, but more importantly, she was courteous, considerate, kind, and honest. She navigated the complexities of my request—including my need for transparency regarding the themes of the canvas, and the specific physical characteristics I value—with a level of respect and warmth that is frankly rare to find.
Caitlin took the time to consult with the Head of Production (with a knowledge in legal/compliance), to ensure everything was handled correctly.
Even then, when explaining that one of my example images fell outside of their production guidelines, she did so with such supportive and clear communication that I felt entirely respected as an individual.
In a world that can often feel cold and transactional, Caitlin’s seemingly non-judgemental approach was a genuine breath of fresh air. She didn't just see a "potential order number"; she saw me... a person. Her warmth, and kindness has made what could have been a very stressful process feel straightforward and dignified.
If you are looking for a company that values its customers and can potentially handle sensitive requests with the exact same utmost care that I was, look no further.
Caitlin, sweetie... you're an absolute star and an absolute credit to the team. Thank you for just being you—you still have made my world a little bit brighter.

Went into Max Spielman in the Tesco branch in Chesterfield I needed help to adjust sizes etc of some photo to be used by my Rugby Club for display purposes The first time I requested help from Sky(e) I found her pleasant and very knowledgeable She took a great deal of time to adjust images and I was delighted with the end results A couple of days later I returned for additional photos Once again it was Sky(e) and also her manager Charlotte . Once more I received superb service. Both of these members of staff were a credit to the company The photos were of high quality and I am delighted with the finished display They both showed a caring manner ( I am in my eighties) and showed an interest in the project I was undertaking They were a credit to your company

UPDATE: Now resolved satisfactorily.
Had some family slides from the 60's which I wanted to turn into a DVD for an important family occasion. Ordered and paid £50 on line and posted them for processing and collection locally at Asda Liscard. Had a phone call to say my order was ready, got to the store and there was a note saying the shop would be closed for half an hour. Eventually the assistant returned and found my order, however there was no DVD, just some poorly produced prints. The assistant checked the order and agreed to return the slides to the factory to correct the order.
That was a week ago, I have had no acknowledgement, tried ringing the store to no avail and despite several emails I keep getting an automated response from Timpsons. Not acceptable and I have no idea now where my valuable (to me) slides are, and if I will ever see the DVD. Would not recommend.

Walked into the store in Perth at 16.10 to ask about the apply & go service and to get my passport renewed, which I had with me. The store closes at 17.30. When I asked the assistant and showed my passport, he got straight to the point and said "I would suggest you come in earlier". My response "that's fine" and I walked out.

Very bad customer service. I went to take a photo with my three kids, but SHE said the camera battery was DEAD. I was happy to wait 10 minutes, but SHE seemed unhappy. Very disappointing. I would recommend using another shop.

I recently commissioned Max Sielman to print 136 photos. I wanted to build up a reminiscence album for my son's 40th birthday. I had all the pictures in order on my Smart phone and went in person to their shop inside Asda in Stockport.
The member of staff who served me selected all the photos for printing, but their machine wouldn't accept that many all at once, and she had to start again, selecting so many at a time. That's where the first error seems to have occurred, as when I got home and went through all the individual pictures, some had been duplicated once, sometimes twice, and other photos were missing.
The order of all the photos had also been muddled up, and it's proved a very painstaking process to go through all the individual photos and accurately date them.
I also found that the orientation of many of the photos had been changed from landscape to portrait, with the result that the pictures looked liked they had been stretched out of shape, and some parts of the original pictures were missing altogether.
In addition, some photos had acquired a white band down the left side and the right side of the picture, making them look odd and different from all the other photos.
Max Spielman charged me £80 for the photos they printed for me. I went to them, and in person, because I thought I was paying for quality, but I have been sorely disappointed in that.
