When I asked for assistance in Wood Green branch yesterday, Hector was a superstar. He was very kind, patient and a gentleman. He went above and beyond to help me. Thank you so much Hector, I appreciate your help. Hold onto your dreams, you will go far.

Took a pic to be scanned and then emailed back to me. It was an emergency and didn’t have time to shop around. The scan cost nearly £4 and the email cost nearly £7 for a single photo.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the Bexleyheath Snappy Snaps franchise.
I was a former employee and recently needed an employment reference as part of the recruitment process for a new permanent job. I contacted the branch and explained that the reference was time-sensitive because my new employment offer was conditional on receiving the required references.
I was told that a reference would not be provided because the business was understaffed. I explained that Yonatan is the owner and manager of the branch and asked whether he could provide the reference himself, particularly given the urgency and the potential consequences for my new employment. I was still told that I would have to wait approximately three weeks.
This put my new employment opportunity at genuine risk and caused me a huge amount of unnecessary stress. I ultimately had to urgently find another former manager who was able to provide a reference so that I could satisfy my new employer’s requirements.
I find it extremely concerning that a former employee could be placed in this position after clearly explaining that a prolonged delay could result in losing a new job. Regardless of the circumstances behind the decision, I believe the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional and, in my view, ethically unacceptable. Especially since I worked there I know he can give the reference.
I have now raised the matter with Snappy Snaps’ central support team because I do not believe the issue should simply be dealt with by the same person whose handling of the situation is the subject of my complaint.
I am sharing this review because I believe people should be aware of my experience when considering dealing with this particular franchise.
This review reflects my personal experience and the events as they occurred from my perspective.

Shout out to the manager and team at Snappy Snaps on Walworth Road for saving the day when another Snappy Snaps store closed due to an emergency. The team were great and couldn't have been more helpful - thank you!

A few weeks ago, I took my daughter's disposable camera into Snappy Snaps in Norwich to get it developed. I didn't think to mention that it was black and white beforehand, as I'm not a developer and had assumed all processing was the same. They processed it as colour film without checking and, unfortunately, completely wiped the negatives.
My daughter was absolutely heartbroken and in tears, as they were all her holiday photos. The staff apologised, refunded me and gave me a new camera, which I appreciated, but I'm truly gutted for my daughter. She's autistic, and the loss really affected her quite badly. It was her first ever holiday, and she'd made a point of only using the disposable camera instead of her phone, so the pictures were extra special. It was such a shame.
I did eventually go back today, as I have a few old camcorder tapes I'd like putting onto USB for my sister's upcoming birthday. I've put this off for some time because old family footage is too precious to risk losing, and after my first experience I was nervous. However, I went in this morning hoping to chat to someone and be reassured.
I thought the initial price of £25 to convert one tape was very expensive compared with what I'd seen online. I was also told there was an additional £15 charge to put the footage onto USB. This really threw me, as I have many tapes that I wanted to get done in batches, and the costs would start adding up very quickly. It would mean £25 for the first tape in each batch, plus £15 per tape for the USB.
As I was trying to work it out on the spot and understand something I'm unfamiliar with, a friendly chat about what I wanted, some help working it out, advice on any package deals, or even just some guidance would have been really helpful.
I then asked if they could recommend any other companies that might provide this service a little cheaper elsewhere in the area, or perhaps somewhere that converts directly to USB. I was told to "Google it".
I took their advice and did, in fact, Google it. I found a really friendly and helpful local company that specialises in putting old footage onto USB, and they're also much cheaper. They're called Digital Legacy in Norwich. If you're looking for somewhere to have old footage converted, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try.

My experience started very poorly as my orders was not fit for purpose
But thanks to the efforts of the manager Reese Smith i am now very satisfied
He went the extra mile to get it sorted
He took ownership of my order issues and rectified for me
He is a credit to your organisation
Kind regards

Hammersmith branch: went in for passport photos which were rejected by the passport office for not meeting criteria. However, this isn’t the main issue. While I was there another customer came in to collect an old photo he had framed - he was dissatisfied with the result as the top of the photo was cut off by the frame. The customer was correct as it looked like a bad job. He quite rightly asked for it to be re-done. Initially the sales assistant - Reece - refused denying they had a copy of the photo, and the SA helping me stepped in to sort it out and reprint the photo (which they did have). For whatever reason, Reece continued to escalate the issue to the point where he swore at the customer telling him to “f.. off”, and told him to “piss off” without any provocation from the customer who simply said the photo was not acceptable. I couldn’t believe what we were witnessing. Such appalling customer service. No apology offered to the customer who was simply unhappy with the service he got.
I sincerely hope Snappy Snaps addresses this.
I will not be going back to this branch; will be heading in to another branch to ask for my passport photos to be redone, if not, a chargeback on my credit card.

Snappy snaps Wood Green messed up my whole roll of film. They exposed it to light which completely ruined it. They didn’t charge me for it, which I appreciated, however I would’ve much rather had my film. I wouldn’t recommend.

One of the things one comes to dread about having an aged parent is when they totter in off the street to businesses like this who, quite clearly, saw her coming.
This footage was of her dead husband giving a speech at a wedding, so it mattered to her. She didn’t want to be a bother, so she didn’t speak to either of her sons.
But it is much, much worse when one learns of this after it has happened.
£20 for the cheapest usb stick I have ever seen, available elsewhere for a fraction of that price.
Snappy snaps should go into the funeral business selling Elvis Presley caskets lined in blue satin with gold handles for £20,000 a time, for they are those kind of ghouls.

Snappy Snaps left me with no choice but to write a criticle review. Redecorating, i have lots of framing to do & took the 1st 2 to Kings rd branch.
One to fix back stand £4.99 the other for bigger print & back into frame. £2.99. Soon after, the picture slipped off-i found the teeniest dab of glue stuck to metal frame, no back up, just the print stuck there. I bought a better weight sheet for back up. Next the glass slips off! I had to glue frame corners onto backup board. I paid £25.99 for their sloppy work: £33.97 altogether. So bad, so shocking. So disrespectful. So lazy. So uncaring.

I had 20 photos that I had taken and had been sent to me, Michelle in the Clacton branch downloaded and printed them for me.
When I left the shop I had left five photos on the counter. Michelle chased after me for a good five minutes prior to catching me and giving me the photos. Thank you , well above the call of duty. ct

Good photos, but terrible pricing flexibility and customer service.
We first asked if we could just buy 1 picture for each of our twins (2 pictures total) but they refused.
We then asked if we could at least fit into their £12 pack of 4 by getting 2 pictures for each twin, and they refused that too.
Because of this rigid policy, we were forced to spend £24 for 8 pictures. Way too expensive for small quantities.

The experience I had at the Peckham branch with Hugo… Unmatched.
Please meet the most polite, most helpful and most accommodating man in the print industry. He has single handedly saved my event, I am super relieved and forever grateful (the speed and quality of prints were dope too lol). Worth every penny.
You the man Hugo!!
