M.Manze Pie & Mash Reviews 

I'd tried to order from Manzes a couple of times but had problems with their website. Having a problem again this time I phoned the Tower Bridge shop on Monday and the lady there was very helpful and gave me the number for the chilled deliveries. This's where I came into contact with the very friendly and helpful Scarlet. I can't speak high enough about how she helped me out over two phone calls, any company would be lucky to have this young lady working for them. My order arrived exactly as promised in Cornwall on Thursday and we're all looking forward to a Pie, Mash and Liquor supper on Friday, with lashings of chilli vinegar. I've eaten Pie,Mash and Liquor at quite a few different P+M shops but Manzes is my/our favourite.

Ordered for my parents as a surprise, it came very well packaged, fresh, and tasted absolutely amazing—a taste of home for my mum. We will definitely be ordering again soon.

There was a delivery problem with my order and Scarlet dealt with it promptly and professionally. I live in Scotland, although I was born and brought up in London. Scarlet's acknowledgement that Scotland is a different country will have the nationalists cheering and who knows perhaps they may think of trying Manzes pie & mash themselves.

Scarlett dealt with my question very quickly and put me at ease. Looking forward to receiving my parcel

Fantastic service and the pies are absolutely scrumptious. Can't recommend enough. The whole experience of ordering online was really easy. We had a large chilled delivery including mash, liquor and pies. Everything was packaged well with clear heating instructions. Customer service was excellent with a few questions I had. Superb .

I've wanted pie and mash etc since our football team moved. Fell apon this site which delivers directly to our door. Purchase and deliver in great time. We ordered a Nationwide delivery from M.Manze after reading online reviews. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We had 24 pies and 6 liquor, the price was good and less than another shop we had used before. The 1st meal we had was two pies each and we were surprised as the pies had no flavour, it was as if the meat and gravy had not been seasoned. We hoped this was a one off and the next meal would be better. A couple of weeks later we tried again. Sadly again the pies had no flavour and we ended up throwing them away and eating something else. It seemed a shame to throw away what we had left but the pies were that bad.
What a waste of money, sad to say but we won't order from here again.

Having moved away to the east coast I really missed my pie mash n liquor, so I thought I would try there chilled delivery service oh my goodness wish I had done it before. It was packaged so well each individual item, then in the box with ice packs.dAll delivered on the day they stated we had it for tea that evening heated as per the instructions included, it was fantastic did not taste any different than when I went to the shop definitely 100% recommended if you can no longer get to Manzes shop. Definitely will have it delivered again oh and I had a bottle of Sarsparella that took me back to my childhood soooo good. Fabulous East End food Thank you

Wouldn’t bother ordering from here, what a waste of time and effort, on the morning of my delivery had an email saying my order had been damaged so won’t be delivered today, but a new fresh order will be sent out free !!! Blooming right free... 5 days later I was still waiting, after sending emails, and numerous phone calls to find out what on earth is going on, I finally spoke to someone, they didn’t know anything out what had happened, even my account said all complete !, luckily i managed to get my money back £40.

Deliver on time and it tasted just as I remember it from many years ago will be ordering again

Delivery was great
Pies not so great . One pie had a couple bits gristle in it and another one had a hard bit in it which I assume was a small piece e of bone . Not what I expected from what I think is the king of pies ! Tried Goddards and arments pies but manzes for me always the best until now unfortunately. They’re not a cheap meal anymore either so was very disappointed
Want to say that after my complaint to manzes was received they apologised and sent me 6 pies as an apology. I cannot fault their response and would happily order from them again . It was just a fluke I think to find a bit of gristle and bone in two of the pies . Usually the pies are lovely and I do intend on buying them again . Fair play to manzes for acknowledging there was a problem and rectifying it so promptly.

Excellent packaging . Food was delicious and easy to reheat.

Just enjoyed our pie and mash, not forgetting the delicious liquor. Bought back so many memories of my childhood in South London. Yum yum! ❤️

Big hair in the food. I have been using Manzes for 67 years at Tower Bridge Road. I made my first online order, but the pies had very little meat. The liquor was very watery with no taste at all. I found the longest blonde hair in the food, either in the mash or the liquor. I was very disappointed with my first home delivery and the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering again, although I bought myself a new freezer to keep my pie and mash.

Arrived on time, very well packed.
Ordered one portion which was a large portion for two.
Throughly enjoyed it over two days, very tasty will definitely make another order very soon.

Our order was short of two pies (10 instead of 12) and one jellied eels instead of two. The five liquors was correct. I telephoned Manze to advise the shortfall and received no apology, advised they had photo evidence there was a delivery, had I taken a picture of the delivered parcel and just accusations. Eventually I was advised the manager would call me. No phone call. What did arrive was very good. Just disappointed at such bad customer service.
