disappointed kickstarter supporter
I supported them on kickstarter and loved the idea of these magnetic pens. I thought it would be a cool addition to my office with the magnets and various shapes I could create. Once they finally arrived I was a bit disappointed...the ink in many of the pens was already dried out rendering them useless. Now I just have a pile of pens on my desk that don't work.
UPDATE: Great customer service. Replied immediately and rectified the situation by sending refills for the pens. Very happy.

I was one of the first Kickstarter …
I was one of the first Kickstarter participants. I LOVE pens and was super excited to receive these new fun pens. After waiting for such a long time to receive them, I was sorely disappointed by the fact that only 4 out of the set of 20 would write. I hesitate to buy refills as I don't want to spend more money on something that I'm not convinced will work.

Fun magnetic pens… initially problems with ink but customer service sorted that out quickly
I was one of the very first backers on Kickstarter and ordered the Magnetips Color Edition. Sadly, like many other backers and public reviewers, I had to experience that 80% of the pens didn't work and had empty or dried-up mines. I didn't bother reporting the issue at the time as I still enjoyed the pens and mostly played with the ones I couldn't use, namely building a pen holder for those that actually did work.
I reported the problem to Magnetips and have since received a set of replacements. What can I say: ALL of them worked! Not sure how long the ink will hold, but I'm positively impressed by their service. Thanks a lot! The pens are great fun to play and I hope they've now improved their refills to match that experience!

Don't buy
Similar to the other reviewer I too backed the company on kickstarter and have been extremely disappointed. Most of the pens either didn't work from the beginning or dried up very shortly after. Complete waste of money, the magnetic gimmick is cool but only if the pens actually function as pens, which they don't.
