Excellent Service…

I have always had excellent service from Lovecrafts. The team answered my query promptly and were so friendly. Also, I can find what I am looking for easily on their website whether it is yarn, needles, hooks or patterns.

My parcel was over a week late

My parcel was over a week late, the customer service to resolve this was extremely poor.
I have previously ordered without any problems but I won’t be in a hurry to order again.

I’ve had a look into your order and can confirm it was dispatched from our warehouse the same day it was placed. Unfortunately, our system does not automatically notify us when a parcel is delayed with Royal Mail, so we weren’t aware of the delay until we received your email. As the tracking showed the parcel was still with Royal Mail, we needed to contact them directly to investigate further per our policy.

I’m very relieved to hear that Royal Mail was able to locate your parcel and that it has now been safely delivered.

We completely appreciate how important timely delivery is, and we’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this delay caused. While delays like this are not common, we take this experience seriously and truly hope for the chance to provide you with a smoother, more seamless service in the future.

An excellent website.

As a new designer, Lovecraft's has made it simple to post my designs, and easy to maintain my listings. The help I received when I did have a problem was super quick, super helpful, and the follow up was greatly appreciated.

Checking dyelot

My daughter chose some yarn for a cardigan which I soon realised was end of season. I found it in the sale on lovecrafts and ordered it. It arrived more quickly than expected. I started knitting and realised I needed more yarn. I contacted lovecrafts to check the dyelot and they replied in less than 40 minutes to say they still had that dyelot. Ordered some more. Very pleased.

Positive Help
I mis-read my pattern and ordered half the quantity of wool that I needed. I placed a new order for the additional wool then contacted the help bot. They immediately replied by getting a customer service representative who took the details of my previous lot and dye # and made sure that my top up order was going to match exactly. It only took about 5 mins from placing my new order to updating it. I then got a confirmation email. Excellent job Lovecrafts.

From Whoa to Go they were fabulous

From Whoa to Go they were fabulous - a high variety of patterns to choose from - ordering was easy (once I waded through the International problems)then I was able to download the patterns very promptly - and how clear are they - every abbrev. is explained, every row is detailed and tips along the way. Then I had a courtesy email checking how I went with it all. LoveCrafts will be my site for evermore! I highly recommend them.

Satisfied customer

I had a problem with a purchase and it was resolved very quickly and entirely satisfactorily. I have always found the service from Lovecrafts to be very helpful. It feels as though you get a personal and understanding response.

Only buy from these if you're prepared…

Only buy from these if you're prepared for 4/5 spam emails a day, that no matter how many times you "Unsubscribe" they still email you weeks later, I made 1 purchase now I can't get rid of them

Just inefficient

Firstly sent me the wrong order then sent me the same wrong order qgain. Paintbox Yarns are dull and nothing like the colours on the website.

Great customer service

The person I spoke to was really friendly and helpful . I had made a mistake on my order and was immediately sent an email with a label to return the items . This is what I call exceptional customer service and their yarns are so good too , with plenty of choice !

Incredible service...over and above expectations

Incredible service...over and above what I expected.

Desperately needed clarification on some looming aspects of a badly written pattern I had purchased from the designer, (which I discovered via Google search for help with pattern), were also available on LoveCrafts website.

The pattern has frustrated me beyond measure - have ripped it back too many times to count already...

Had already emailed and messaged the designer with no reply.

Julie from LoveCrafts is incredible. She explained each one of my questions with clarity and detail.

I feel I can now face the next step of the pattern confidently.

Totally recommend LoveCrafts to anyone.

I will be purchasing on line patterns from LoveCrafts moving forward!!

Great service

Great service. I often order pattern downloads which are fast and easy to do. I have ordered yarn several times as well. I appreciate the great customer service. They make every attempt to get the same lot numbers when possible, which I appreciate very much! I get updates to shipping and right now we are having a postal strike so I've been updated about my latest order which is stuck in transit......but its okay because I know its worth the wait. I very much appreciate that I could work around getting my yarn shipped from the U.S with a tariff added.........my order is shipping direct from the U.K so thank you for that. Also, so I don't get an 'over weight' charge at the border, it has been shipped in 2 packages!!! I have had nothing but good experiences with LoveCrafts and will continue to be a customer.

Always out of stock

So I regularly buy the Paintbox yarn specifically in Aran weight and since about May the shade Kingfisher has been out of stock. I've got stock notification turned on. I crochet rainbow items and when I order, I order 8 shades 3 balls of each. 9 times out of 10 I can never complete my order as all 8 shades are never in stock at the same time. Today when looking only 3 of the 8 were in stock. I keep checking Love Crafts but I've gone back to my original supplier Wool Warehouse. Their Yarnsmiths range is the same price when both on sale and the shade availablity is insane in comparison. Disappointing but they obviously don't have very good stock control and cannot keep up or predict demand

Absolutely disappointed with my…

Absolutely disappointed with my paintbox yarn.
I ordered 3 balls and after the first two had several knots I contacted love crafts and they said they would send me one replacement ball and to tie the ends together. I opened the third ball and exactly the same so I had to order 3 more as the knots were looking horrible and this was supposed to be a blanket for my new grandson, I contacted them again and was told this happens and again was told to cut out the knots and tie the ends together, as a new knitter this was so disappointing and I feel my new venture to learn knitting has failed.
I would not recommend this company as 3 out of 3 balls of wool containing many knots is unacceptable

While knots are, unfortunately, an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process and not necessarily a reflection of quality, we understand how frustrating they can be. We appreciate you reaching out to us, and to help compensate for any yarn lost while working around the knots, we've sent you an additional ball.

That said, even with additional replacement skeins, we cannot guarantee they will be entirely knot-free, as this is a standard occurrence across yarn production. If you’d like any tips on how to work with knots in a way that keeps them less visible in your project, we’d be more than happy to help - just let us know!
