Excellent service from the company

Great company with a great device

This company is really great to deal with. They respond promptly and give great support to their customers. We had our last device for 7 years and upgraded and the new one has a couple of extra benefits. Still think this is a great device giving a simple device that gives the family all the alerts they may need. Stuart the face of the company is first class.

Three stars

Mobile signal when at home is weak. Doesn't always show to be in the areas where the beacons are located. Device disconnected message frequently appears.
On the positive side the SOS button has worked every time when pressed. Voice calls have worked ok too.

Excellent product which we bought for my dad who has dementia

Excellent product which we bought for my dad who has dementia. He often forgets his mobile when he goes out so we purchased the Locàite watch as he quite likes the appearance of it and he’s so used to wearing a watch that it’s unlikely he’ll forget to put it on (he didn’t like the idea of the pendant). Very accurate GPS which we can view on the Locàite app from our own mobiles. Also a very helpful calling function in that we can call the watch and it will auto-answer our call after a few rings. This auto-answer is useful just in case my dad, for whatever reason, is unable to press the button on the watch to answer the call. Helpful also if he doesn’t have his mobile on him or isn’t answering his mobile so we can just call the watch. It’s a very simple watch which my dad finds easy enough to use as it just has one main button really. It looks like a sporty smart watch which he likes. Also very lightweight and a secure, velcro strap. I felt inclined to write this review as I was originally looking at an alternative, very widely publicised GPS watch before I came across this one and I just want people to know how much more superior and very simple to use I feel this watch is. Very easy to set up but there is an excellent, local and very quick to respond customer service available if you do need help.

Excellent Personal Alarm with brilliant support

I bought this alarm so that my disabled wife can contact me both at home and if I am away. Initially I was concerned that my wife might have problems activating the alarm and I might not be contacted. I sent an email to Locaite on Sunday afternoon, not expecting a response before the next working day. Within a few minutes I received a reply and they could not have been more helpful. Remotely Locaite was able to make the necessary modifications to suit our needs. You could not have asked for better service. It’s a brilliant personal alarm that can communicate with multiple emergency contacts just by pressing the SOS button. It’s well built, has a wide range of functions, is easy to use and represents great value for the money.

4G SIM Locàite contract is expensive

At £14.99 per month the Locàite 4G SIM contract is expensive. I pay £16pm with O2 and that includes unlimited calls and texts lus 100Gb of data a month.

The services and helpful staff

The services and helpful staff, even when I had a issue with the first watch how thoroughly they check for the fault and when it could not be fixed. How quickly i got a replacement.

In real terms - possible one of the most valuable things I own.

My Daughter was sexually assaulted and she’d broken her phone. She walked home for 2 hours at 2am.
I bought a Locaite tracker so that I could always give her a way to contact me.
Last night, someone threatened her, took her phone and her friend was attacked.
The ability to know where she is, where she was and to always be able to talk to her is priceless. Certainly worth the £15 a month.
Sincere thanks to Locaite from a terrified father of a 19 year old!

Had some initial problems setting up…

Had some initial problems setting up the product but with the help of the 5* customer service this was resolved in no time.
Rapid response by email and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend.

Update on a fantastic product

This is an updated review for this company and the excellent product. I purchased the pendant over 1 year ago.
The communication from the company was excellent with any help or problems for the locate pendant. My problem was my father's care home turned the charger device off if not in use. This gives false readings on the pendant. I was sent 2 room connectors which made a big difference in knowing my father was in his room and safe.
The pendant went missing and was found in his washed clothing, and I realised I needed another pendant as this is excellent for safety for my father.
Very quick service from Stuart. Thank you. Also a discount which was extremely generous from the company.
My father did like to fiddle with the pendant and did on many occasions press the SOS button which would call all phones added to the family contacts for emergencies.
The company offered to make the SOS button invalid which helped, as we knew he was safe residing in a full time care home.
The armband holder was an excellent purchase at a excellent price. Saves the pendant becoming lost. Just absolutely fantastic service with a excellent product for safety 24/7.
Thank you to Stuart for all the help and on point communication with my queries and a very quick professional response at all times.
If you do have a family member who needs to be safe and located I strongly suggest this product especially with the excellent service at a fantastic price.

Thank you Locaite for my peace of mind

After many hours of searching online for an alarm that could notify of falls for my elederly family member who is occaisonally alone, SIM card-based and will notify family members, not a medical/ service network, we found Locaite. The pendant is really good quality and the app is very user friendly. We use it primarily for fall notifications. It works very well. Initially, I needed some guidance and I sent an email to Stuart's email address provided in the accompanying letter. I sent it at night and got a response in 10 minutes, solving my issues. I am very, very grateful and impressed. I was travelling the following day and getting Locaite set up, gave me such peace of mind and still does.

Fantastic Service

A few hiccups with setting pendant up but so much help from Stuart we seem to be winning. Things are made more difficult with trying to get my brother who has dementia to accept change ? Even having the pendant on his keys was difficult but early days. Just a few zone issues but again Stuart is helping so much. All in all it will be a great system keeping my brother safe.

Other companies need to take a leaf out their book

It's rare to find these days a company that actually does care about their customers and truly believe in their product. A great app, easy to understand website and when I needed their support for an issue *I* caused, Stuart was so helpful. I couldn't ask for better. Other companies need to take a leaf out their book! As soon as I emailed them that my charging base wasn’t working, they responded immediately suggesting what I should check etc. each time I got back to them they promptly replied. Then when I ordered a replacement it arrived promptly with very clear instructions how to activate it.
