This is quite possibly the most beautifully made bag I have ever bought. I loved the ability to customise it to make it really perfect for me - I added a back slip pocket and a longer strap. I was contacted by Keith after making the order and he made sure to verify my choices, ensuring that the bag was being made exactly to my needs. He was incredibly polite, understanding and helpful. When the bag arrived it was beautifully packaged and opening it was an experience with a letter outlining the company story and ethos and even a small complimentary gift added to the delivery. I've bought some expensive bags in my life including from top designers but never seen anything being made and delivered with such care and at such an affordable price. I don't think I could go back to Cambridge Satchel now when I know something better exists and can be made to my exact needs. I don't write many reviews but this company is special.

This is my third purchase from the Leather Satchel Co. and I thorough recommend them! From choosing a bag (in my case I love the satchels best!) to arranging delivery or getting support to make a bespoke bag, the process is easy and the team are so helpful. I love my satchels and I have a Festival Satchel which is a perfect small size and two 11inch satchels which are fab when you need to catty more. Everyone admires them when I use one. They also come in brilliant storage boxes and bags which means you can keep them clean and ready to use. I love these satchels! 😊

Quite by chance I came across this brilliant little company that is more or less on my doorstep and I didn’t know!
After seeing the quality of their products and the care they put into orders I think I am about to become a regular.
I was looking for personalised passport holders for 2 relatives after theirs were stolen. Keith and his small team came to the rescue and produced 2 beautiful holders within days which were monogrammed and gift wrapped. My relatives were absolutely delighted with them and were amazed by the quality of the leather and construction. I think Keith will be acquiring more new customers as a result!

I cannot recommend The Leather Satchel Company highly enough. I bought a wonderful 15 inch satchel with volume boost in old thyme. The quality of the workmanship is exemplary and the service faultless from start to finish. I am grateful for Keith's (Master Craftsman) genuinely thoughtful advice and attention to detail. Mindful of the increased size and way I would use the satchel, he helpfully suggested adding a bolt on handle --perfect! What is more, the satchel arrived with a complimentary shoulder pad to protect my shoulder. This is really service with a personal touch.

Superb customer service
I was bought a satchel from this company many years ago, which I have used a lot and is well loved! When I got in touch a few months ago with a problem with the catch, Keith went above and beyond to source the part I needed and to advise on the upkeep of my satchel.
I have since purchased another bag for a friend’s birthday and had it monogrammed. The quality of the item as well as the customer service is second to none and I will continue to use this company in the future.

I bought a second hand Leather Satchel Co. satchel, and emailed the company asking about the type of leather and the care requirements for it to keep it fresh. I very shortly had a reply from one of their Master Craftsmen, Keith, who shared so much valuable information about my bag and its care, and made me aware of the option of having worn-out components replaced.

The customer service I received, having bought a second-hand bag elsewhere and not even yet purchasing directly from them, was incredible, and Im certain that future leather goods will be purchased from this company. It was an all-round lovely experience. Additionally, the bag i purchased is around 10-15 years old according to their estimates, and is in incredibly good condition, so the quality of their products is very good. I had a wonderful experience with the Leather Satchel Company. I dealt with Keith firstly on instant messenger as I was ordering a satchel back pack but was worried about the security of it and also wanted to add a slip for my laptop to stop it knocking about the bag. Keith was great, asking insightful questions and giving advice - we changed from a zip, which I had initially asked about, to clasps which are hidden under the buckles and are absolutely fantastic and far superior than the zip would have been!

The satchel itself is beautiful, very well made, and is of very good quality. The shoulder straps are great (I went for the thicker one for the crossbody strap because of the weight of it). My only criticism would be that I would have liked the backpack straps longer but this really is nitpicking - if you're quite tall (I'm 6ft and have a long torso) you may want to ask for longer straps when ordering.

Seriously, this is one of the nicest companies I've dealt with; they agreed the work and carried it out expertly. Can't recommend highly enough!

This was my first purchase - a music case. The case is beautiful and ideal for regular use. The quality of finish was excellent. The extra gusset width means that it can hold the additional music needed for a Christmas concert. The level of customer support was first rate. Can't recommend this company more highly.
