The inventory check-out process was not conducted correctly, resulting in the deduction of extra cleaning fees despite my adherence to their recommendation for professional cleaning during the pre-checks. Additionally, there is an old toaster kept in a separate cupboard for which I was still charged!. I am uncertain about who is responsible for validating the report, as it appears that the amount was unjustly deducted from my security deposit! 31Jan25

The worst experience. I do not recommend, we rented a house with major problems and we are given excuses non stop about each situation we encounter. We are now suing them and the owner of the house. Poor service and management from the realtor, we have videos and photos to back up our statement. The realtor and the people she works with are incompetent. Always a come back statement from Mme Julie Lezay but no action. She has ignored many issues we are facing with the rental property but was excellent with us when she was getting her commission. House rented furnished and we spent $25,000 to improve, paint the inside and clean up the place to make it nice. Photos when we moved in. Major hidden electrical and plumbing issues.

We highly recommend " la foret "immobilier .David Bresson and his team offer a friendly efficient service. They have sold four houses for us with very little stress or fuss .

We are totally satisfied and the buyers are too

I booked a house through Airbnb. Normal course of events: payment by creditcard, pleasant welcome by the owner, pleasant stay. But now, we were no longer dealing with the owner but with the La Forêt Agency in Bandol... A big DRAMA! Payment via separate transfer with a deposit of €500.00. Then heaven and earth must move to recover the deposit after the stay. If I had not taken action, they would still have my money. Our e-mails were never answered, I had to sign a multi-page contract with fines regarding the stay; I had to collect the key at the agency office in the next village and find out for myself how it works in the house (but at the end a visit from two employees of the agency to check if the rented house was still in good condition and nothing was missing), always asking for information already given, having to put several signatures in the agency on a contract in French only. When I remarked at the agency that our emails were never answered, a lady in the office started laughing. Next time U rent a house on Airbnb, I first want to know if this agency is involved. In this case, I will rent another house.

When you called the agence and you asked for the rentals, they will tell you that it's already occupied. But the apartment is still posted on their website. Either they were too slow to update their site or the agence is too lazy to accept clients because they're priority is to sell the house than to accept clients who were interested to their apartments which are for rent. Plus you need to call them first rather than to assist directly those clients who drop by to their agencies. Overall review, is that they were lazy workers in the agencies.

Would not recommend renting from La Foret. My daughter only stayed 4 months in an apartment rented by them in Menton France. My husband and I travelled from Ireland to Menton to ensure the apartment was left in very good condition when my daughter left ( we are landlords in Ireland so know what is required). We were very shocked to hear after 2 months that we were not getting any of our deposit back. They charged us for a brand new Hoover even though my daughter was only there 4 months and it was working fine when we left. They also charged for a new mattress & protector for sofa bed, even though this was only used as a sofa. They also charged us €250 for cleaning, quoting ridiculous things that were not cleaned like the rubber seal inside the washing machine. Finally they charged us for painting a room and new skirting boards as radiator in room had burst (totally not the fault of my daughter). In my opinion La Foret take your deposit with the intention of never returning it to you. Instead they buy brand new items for the apartment and redecorate it with your deposit. Steer clear of La Foret!

Outstanding service from la Forêt Velizy. Madam Myriam Castro was very helpful and professional. She took her time to explain the details of the lease agreement and kept me updated on the process. Her professionalism and care for her client is commendable.

Outstanding service and counselling. Wether looking for a place to rent or buy, the La Forêt Aubagne staff offers utter availability for you to find your own homely home in the south of France.
