I contacted a few companies as I knew what I needed. There was very little difference in the price however George seemed to be interested in helping me where the others just wanted to sell to me. As it turns out I was right in choosing them as the service was first class. I forgot to order an item and spoke to Jo and it arrived the next day. Of all the companies I do business with they are certainly in the top three for both price and service. Mike (Accommodate Services)

I can’t comment on the products but I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the efforts of the sales team. I found myself let down by another supplier with kitchen fitters waiting! I phoned kitchen Worktops Direct and they did everything they could to find me replacement worktops (I had a quote within 2 hours including a list of the worktops that could be delivered the following day). Unfortunately my wife had set her heart on our original choice so I have to wait to complete the kitchen installation!

So so happy this company was recommended by a family member, found the company sales team polite, friendly and very helpful.From sending us samples to the fitting everything was seamless. Could not have asked for a more professional service. From one happy customer ,Thank you

From the initial phone call to the delivery I found the service from this company 100% professional. They went over and above to help me with every I asked of them. Prices were excellent. Delivery time on time. And quality is brilliant. Thank you so much Jo and George. 10/10

Having encountered an number of issues with a recent installation I found this organisation both belligerent and rude. The job quoted ended up costing me and extra £400 due to an error with the supply of material due to the lack of diligence on the part of the supplier. In addition, it required numerous visits by the fitter to complete which was really inconvenient and time consuming. Do you yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere. You’ve been warned!

Warning do not use this company! Was sent the wrong size Corian even though our measurements were spot on and I sent a photo of the delivery. Had to order some more on the recommendation of the supplier which was also the wrong size. Fitter had to come three times before the job was completed. We are out of pocket as the company will not take ownership of mis ordering. Totally unreliable, horrendous customer service, Nothing but stress and upset as a customer, can’t believe still in business. Please don’t use.

Experience was a nightmare. I had a young child so moving into a house with no kitchen was a no no and the delays in fitting the worktop delayed my house move for months. First Corian worktop put in was so badly fitted it had to be replaced. They took ages to do this and were full of endless promises to do it ASAP but it dragged on and on. Eventually to compensate me for the delays they upgraded me to a more expensive Corian and I was really pleased with the results but the surface was again badly fitted and has cracked in two places around the hob and needs to be replaced. Using this company was an expensive mistake.

The service was appalling, in the end we cancelled our order and went elsewhere which was such as shame as we loved the worktops and the ones we have ordered are not comparable on quality.

I ordered some American Black Walnut worktops from these guys. They were almost impossible to come by at the time but they said they could get them.

After the first few excuses James the fitter offered to come to my house template the job and fit free to compensate for all the delays. When he visited he stated that I shouldn't have them fitted yet as we were still due to have plastering and painting to do.

Once we were in a state to have the tops fitted came the excuses. I received a call from James like clockwork every week with various excuses similar to previous reviews who were obviously waiting for work to be done around the same time as us.

The final straw came when we were phoned to say that someone at the company had left the tops outside to long before delivery and that they had warped. This was the last straw for me as I had had to move into my in laws 2 bedroom bungelow with my wife and two girls (1 & 3). I contacted Unicom for a refund and was told by them that I was fully responsible and liable for the damaged worktops and that I would not receive a refund.

Luckily James phoned again and I let it go to my answerphone rather than answering, where he left a message admitting responsibility and offering to fit an alternative product at the company's expense. I fully believe that this is the only reason that the company refunded my money despite the original refusal to do so.

In the end we used Worktop Express who delivered what we ordered when they said they would.

Never again!

I was hesitant about this company because it felt very 'sales' pitch on the phone. However, I took a chance (and protected myself with purchasing via a credit card) and ordered the worktop. The salesman who took my order was polite and the company contact afterwards with fitting dates, etc, was well organised.
The fitters who came to measure up (James and Dave??) travelling all over the country daily fitting worktops, were top drawer! They measured perfectly and returned a week later to fit the tops. The tops themselves are awesome - absolutely gorgeous and I'm so pleased I went with them. The fitting was a breeze and the guys were incredibly nice (same two) and I would praise them again and again. Unlike my kitchen cabinet company (whom I wouldn't recommend), Kitchen Worktops Direct (or Unicom) I definitely would.
