Rescued me from my car turning against me and locking the doors with the keys inside, when I was 70 miles from home.
Very happy!

My key care claim was handled very quickly and efficiently, but I was a bit dissappointed that I only recieved half the cost of the replacement key.

Lost only fob to my car miles from home. Keycare technicians explained how the process would work. I was fortunate in that I had lost key insurance, and the company was recommended by the insurers.
It was to be a simple 2 day process, but on day 2 Keycare was unable to access the final codes and instead had to get in touch with VW HQ where the fob was to be coded. Although I had paid up fully, they were prepared to refund full payment, but sweetened the deal by offering me an extra fob for free.
It took 5 working days to actually get the fob. They technicians were terrific. If Keycare reads this, my car was at Bartra Beach Murrisk Co Mayo.
The villains of the story are the VW Dealerships, 2 of whom I contacted and who said it would take at least 10 working days to get a fob replaced, and VW HQ in Dublin who were of absolutely no assistance, except to send soothing emails and ask for pointless details. As I explained to them, they had my car model, reg, etc and all they had to do was email or call the fob coding unit wherever it was based. I told then they were not being asked to build a compound for human habitation on Mars. A simple, goddamned coding of a car fob.
I have to now write a review of VW Ireland........
