Extremely Disappointed
Shipping: Just FYI, my bike was shipped "signature required" through FedEx. This was very difficult since they would not give me a day, much less a time that they would arrive. This caused me to miss their first attempt, and in the end delayed my shipment by 5 days. This was not nearly as frustrating as when I opened the package, the bike was extremely damaged. The front wheel hub was sticking through the side of the box, both fenders were bent up, the rear rack was crushed, and the rear hydraulic brake line was kinked. Due to the brake issue, the bike was not safely rideable, no rear brakes.
Juiced Policy: To be clear, if you receive a damaged bike from Juiced, their position is to ship you replacement parts and have YOU repair your bike. This may not be a big deal if it is a simple part to get to, but for example, let's say you have a damaged fender. Well, this involves disassembling the entire rear wheel assembly, since the bolts holding it on are on the inside. Yes, that hour plus job is your reward for receiving a damaged bike. That is IF they have replacement parts! This is where my frustration with FedEx is now with Juiced.
Juiced Customer Service: I will do my best to keep this short. First with the only positive I have, every time I got through to a customer service representative they were polite and easy to talk to. Did they help me solve my issue and follow through on promises they gave me, absolutely not. Combining all of the time spent on hold, attempting their text support (this goes nowhere), and most recently attempting to repair my bike (more on this below), I have 10 hours of my time into this, and I still do not have a fully functional bike that I paid for. Juiced does not have replacement parts for the bike that I paid for nearly 2 months ago. In the meanwhile, they continued to sell my exact model, even offering a sale, but no parts for a paid customer. I finally recently received replacement parts, not all, but some. When trying to install the rear fender and more importantly the rear brakes, they sent the wrong parts. Yes, you read that correctly..
I could not be more frustrated with Juiced at this point. Their product appears to be well engineered and built, but they apparently are more interested in sales than owners of their product. Keep this in mind when spending your hard earned money.
Can't get a response from customer service
I'm trying to get a part # for my Logan brakes, I need brake pads on my Ripcurrent S. They don't show any info on Logan brakes on there web site, No Email response, When I called I was on hold 3rd in line, 2nd, next, Then I get a message saying you can send a online request, Good bye, click, they hang up after 25 min on hold. I will not suggest Juiced bikes to others anymore, I will warn them about poor customer service.
Juiced customer support is terrible and…
Juiced customer support is terrible and my bike has been down for over a month now. Please message me back via any one of the multiple ways I've tried to contact you and I'll take this message down.
I've tried calling numerous times, been hung up on multiple times, emailed, used the chat bot and am now using any social media possible to try to get help. While I love my bike I'm getting very dissappointed with this lack of customer service.
I wanted to put 0 stars
I wanted to put 0 stars. This Company is terrible. They take forever to ship out warranty. I had my bike for three days went to charge it and the charger doesn't work. I can buy one at the local bike shop but they told me it would void my warranty. So I'm stuck waiting another 9 days for my charger to get here.
Check out there BBB score 1.4/5 and F
Great Support
My review and opinion of Juiced completely turned around today. It appeared that I was stuck with a damaged bike given my experience of submitting a support ticket, getting no response, and not getting someone on the phone. With another try on the phone though I got through to Ivan who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! My repair parts are on the way and he even helped me identify damage that I had missed by scrutinizing one of the photos. I'll add that the support software they have is quite convenient as he was able to have it send me a text that I could then immediately reply with pictures so we could troubleshoot further live on the phone. They also had a queue count while on hold and hilarious music about holding. Key lesson here is that after submitting a support request online (a great way to get some initial pictures over and an outline of your issues to start from), go ahead and call.
STAY AWAY FROM JUICED BIKES
I received My Hyper Scorpion about 9 days ago, The kickstand is broken, the lcd display has pixelated spots on it, I never received the helmet needed to ride the Bike in the first place, my battery bag hasn't arrived and my voltage monitor has not arrived either. I spoke to an associate named Gina Ryan
@Juiced Bikes Customer Support
1 (888)303-8889 THE SAME DAY my Bike arrived almost two weeks ago and she stated that she will get back to me with the tracking information on my lost/missing items. Not a word from no one at this Company since. 2 weeks LATER! NOT A WORD! I will be contacting NBC 10 INVESTIGATORS!!! Do NOT BUY EBIKES FROM JUICED! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Customer Service? What customer service??
My wife and I recently purchased a couple of new RipCurrent S bikes. So far we're happy with them. My issue is with support, which turns out is pathetic. I've been asking for suggestions (several requests) for a stem change to replace the stock handlebar on my bike. I have heard absolutely NOTHING back from support. Bikes seem to be decent products but Juiced support needs MUCH improvement. Knowing what I know now, I probably would not have purchased from this company.
I bought the rip current in2020 and it…
I bought the rip current in2020 and it has been nothing but problems. 2 controllers and 1 hub motor to the tune of 300.00 of my own money. Now i have to send in motor and controller again to try and fix.. I have been complaining before warranty was up..They wont give me my money back or give me a deal on new bike. I sold 4 bikes for them stupid me.
It's a good platform...
It's a good platform, but you need to tweak it to your preference. I got rid of the floppy fenders and installed metal ones from Velo Orange, changed the cheapo derailleur to one with a friction clutch (Shimano Saint) to FINALLY get rid of chain drops, Installed the Kinect seat post AND the Shockstop stem to deal with the less than smooth roads. First rear rim had the loose, broken spoke issues like a lot of other people and it finally started to crack at the spokes, so I bought a new rim (Zac19) but because the dishing is so offset on the rear rim (almomst 7mm!), the spokes on the drive side needed to be tightened to130kgf to pull the rim to the center of the hub. Non-drive side is about 80-ish kgf. I think 130 kgf is just too high for these rims. Bought but haven't installed yet a carbon asymmetrical rim with a 2.5mm spoke offset so that the spoke tensions can be evened out a little better and not have to be cranked down so much on the drive-side spokes. But all-in-all, It's a decent platform to work off of! Perfect bike (once you tweak it!) if your riding area isn't all hills, but it can handle hills fine. Flats to small hill, this bike rocks. had it for over three years now.
Bad Company, Bad Service, Bad Products
Bad, customer service is really bad. They don't know their own parts or products. I was sent to the store to buy a socket because you can't remove the tire unless you buy their tool which they don't include. CSR gave me the wrong size twice. They ordered me the wrong parts 1 time, sent the replacement with incorrect parts, thr CSR didn't know the difference between a headlamp and a headlamp housing, kickstand just snapped off so I was forced to buy their "premium" kickstand. Why the fk wouldn't you just put a premium kickstand on the bike. This company is trash. Not to mention a long list of other minor stuff
ZERO customer support.
ZERO customer support.
After a year you’ll be the proud owner of an 80lb battery on wheels
CrossCurrent X is a quality bike
I received my CrossCurrent X yesterday. The pre-assembly and packaging were both exceptional. The bike would've likely survived a drop off of a truck given the thoughtful design of the foam packaging materials and care in packing.
I completed the minimal assembly of the bike quickly, and it was perfect - no brake or shifter adjustments needed. I've bought many bikes, and usually I have to make some adjustments.
After charging, I tested it and the bike functioned normally as expected. Actually better than expected - it's considerably smoother in pedal assist modes than other e-bikes I've ridden and feels more like a traditional bike. Perhaps this is due to the torque sensor.
I'm very glad I chose the Juiced CrossCurrent X.
Update 02/03/22:
As it turned out, roughly half of my spokes were loose - both wheels. It took a ride longer than my short initial test ride for this to surface. Many others have complained about this as well. It would appear that the rims are being loosely strung with spokes, then the next step, tightening and truing the wheels is being skipped during factory assembly. Somehow, it appears that there's no Q/A process in place to catch this. So bad. I spent a hour and a half tightening spokes and truing the wheels. It's unacceptable that this is a known problem yet continues to happen. It's actually dangerous - the wobbly wheels could fail or otherwise cause a crash. Juiced should be better than this. The bike is otherwise solid, so I changed my review to 4 stars from 5.
Juiced has taken great care of me - love my Ripcurrent S
I been so impressed with Juiced bikes. I initially was disappointed that they accidently shipped me the wrong sized Ripcurrent S but they compensated me for my troubles which was very fair. I had the portable battery powered airpump accessory fail and they IMMEDIATELY shipped a replacement - no questions asked saying everything was covered by a 1 year warrantee.
The bike itself has been fantastic - have over 200 miles on it so far and it is just a tank. I picked up some nice paniers for the strong rear rack and I am able to fit a significant amount of groceries in the back. The bike rides great on the beach and I find it use it for so many around town chores that I am driving my gas hog SUV so much less because the bike is just so much fun to ride. At the rate I am riding I can probably pay for it in just savings from driving in a few years. My only wish is that I purchased it sooner than I did!
I shipped my bike to another state and…
I shipped my bike to another state and during shipping the front wheel spacers got lost. I called Juiced to find out what size they were and the customer service was absolutely brilliant. I didn't get the persons name, but they were so helpful and couldn't do enough to get me riding again. Really impressed with them.
No repair tech support
A local bike shop put 2 new tires on my Ripcurrent model. When I picked up the bike the pedal assist was not working and it would take off by itself while stopped. I returned it to the bike shop. They called and said they got the pedal assist to work. I picked it up and it is not working properly. Now only one level of pedal assist works and the pedal assist is jerky. The bike shop does not know how to fix the bike and said they will no longer will work on Juiced bikes because it is near impossible to get a Juiced technician on the phone for help. I emailed Juiced at least 4 times and they send me links to fix a problem I do not have with the bike. Now I have a useless expensive bike. If Juiced bikes would speak to the bike shop the shop would try to fix it one last time.
Thank You Juiced!!!!!
I revised my one star review after Tracy Watson resolved all of my one star problems. I would give her 10 stars if possible for her efforts. She immediately directed the bike mechanics work with us to inspect, repair and send all the necessary replacement parts without any complications or need for further instructions. She nothing short of fantastic!!

ZERO Problems in 2500 MILES on my RipCurrent S
I purchased my RipCurrent S near the end of 2019 before Covid-19 hit.
During 2020, I put 2,500 miles on it with no issues whatsoever. I did replace my tires at about 2,000 miles, but could have ridden a few hundred more miles or so on them. I did experience two flat tires during that time and I didn't want to experience anymore.
I can't blame flat tires on Juiced Bikes that's normal wear and tear.
I'm now running Tannus inserts, with thicker motorcycle tubes as well as tire sealant in the tubes because nothing sucks more than being miles away from home pushing an e-bike with a flat front tire, except maybe not owning an E-bike in the first place. They are an absolute blast. It's like being a kid again.
Most people are frustrated with ALL e-bike companies right now because E-bikes are relatively new and the E-bike market is like the Wild Wild West right now. (which is why you're probably reading reviews)
Also, Covid has jacked up the supply chain.
Cream always rises to the top.
We will see what happens with Juiced Bikes as the market begins to stabilize.
I feel that when the dust finally settles Juice Bikes will still be standing.
I chose Juiced because back in 2019 there weren't very many companies offering 52 volt batteries and they gave the appearance of being a solid company.
Originally, I was eyeing a Rad Rover, but chose the higher performing Rip Current instead.
I also purchased a stock Scorpion from Juiced based on my positive right experience and for battery compatibility and have had ZERO problems with it as well.
DON'T BUY A JUICED BIKE.
I purchased a Cross Current X on June 15th. When it arrived on June 26th,
I took it, in the box it was shipped in, to an electric bike shop to be professionally assembled. After paying for assembly and picking up the assembled bike, I discovered Juiced shipped me the incorrect model. The model they shipped was
the Cross Current S2. Weaker battery, downgraded seat, no fenders and no bike rack. I contacted JUICED and they said they would ship me an upgraded battery,
fenders and rack. Later that day, I researched and discovered that the Cross Current X has an upgraded seat. I again contacted JUICED and they said OOPS
yes it does. Said they would ship it as well. Days later, I received the shipment.
No upgraded battery. No back rack. I called JUICED customer service. Austin,
my customer service rep, said the battery had been sitting, ready to be shipped,
for a week. Said it required special packaging. I asked why they couldn't provide the special packing for shipment. He said it takes time.... Weekly, JUICED is
shipping out Cross Current X bikes to new customers with the correct packing for
the battery, but won't bother to ship my battery. They have enough bike racks for newly purchased Cross Current X's, but won't ship me mine. Their response:
"We don't remove bike racks from new bikes because then we couldn't sell them."
They didn't have a problem shipping mine without the rack? Today, I received a
note from customer service that the battery will be shipped at a "to be determined" future date. The main reason I purchased the X is for the upgraded battery. JUICED also told me I will need to ship the incorrect weaker battery
and incorrect seat back to them. No offer to pay for "special" packaging and shipping.
This entire shopping experience has been time consuming and frustrating. Purchase your bike elsewhere. My wife purchased a RAD bike, and it
was a no hassle and she loves it.
Update on recent purchase…
This is an update to my review from 7/2/2021.
Finally received an email response from Juiced CS that they were sending me a Battery Upper Interface V3 Service Kit to take care of the defective locking assembly issue that they shipped with my bike on 6/9/2021. There was no mention of who was going to replace the parts and pay for the repair service.
I called the Juiced customer service number and spoke with Danielle (She would not provide her last name for some unknown reason) Danielle stated that they would have a local bike mechanic service my bike, but could not provide the name of the service. I stated that I would like a refund for the bike since it has multiple issues after only 45 miles. Danielle stated that Juiced would keep 10% of my $2600 as a "restocking fee" on their defective bicycle. I informed her that Juiced Bikes has an extremely poor reputation and that their foot dragging and "the checks in the mail" excuses are legendary on the internet. We ended the conversation with Danielle saying she was going to process my refund tomorrow and call me back with an RMA and instructions on how to return the defective merchandise to Juiced.
Do not buy from this company. They do not stand behind their products and have zero support.
