JTX is an independent fitness brand based in West Sussex. We design, build and sell home gym equipment — treadmills, bikes, rowers, cross trainers — directly to our customers. No middlemen, no hype, no subscriptions required. Just dependable machines, honest advice, and a team that’s here when you need them.

JTX Fitness Guarantee

We are here to help you achieve your goals

We are here to help you achieve your goals
JTX started in 2009 with a straightforward idea: fitness equipment should hold up in real use, not just look good on day one. Too much of the industry felt driven by hype — short-term trends and promises that didn’t translate once routines changed or life got busy. We wanted to build something different. Equipment people could come back to through different phases of training, different stages of life, and trust that it would still do its job. That thinking still shapes how we design, build and support every machine today. Training that fits around your life: We design for the way people actually train — the early mornings, the busy weeks, the sessions that just keep you ticking over. Not the highlight reel. Equipment that’s built properly: We prioritise build quality, real-world testing and considered engineering. No gimmicks, no feature clutter — just machines that do what they should, consistently, for years. Support that doesn’t disappear after you buy: Our UK team is here before purchase, during setup, and long after delivery. Buying guides, care advice, repairs — we’re not hard to reach and we don’t hide behind chatbots. Longer warranties, fewer worries: All equipment comes with generous in-home repair warranties as standard. If something needs fixing, we come to you. We back what we build.

I initially contacted the company by…

I initially contacted the company by email but didn’t receive a response. I then tried reaching out via their website and eventually got a reply, although it took some time. They asked for my full name, address and mobile number just to provide a quote for a damaged display.
From my understanding GDPR guidelines are quite clear that there is no need to request extensive personal data simply to provide a price estimate especially for an item that was not in stock.
Once I mentioned that I had not purchased the training machine directly from them communication stopped. I do not expect to hear back further.
It is disappointing as I was hoping to use the exercise machine to support my physiotherapy after a long hospital stay. The machine was gifted to me so I do not have an invoice to prove the original purchase.

Hi Anna,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

I have tried to look into this but I am unable to find any correspondence from you on our end, so we have requested some more information via Trustpilot. If you are comfortable giving that information, we can have a look into the background of this for you.

I apologise that our service was not up to standard and we look to support all our customers, even if they have not purchased directly from us.

The reason we request further information is so we can find the model purchased, date purchased and the area that you live in. This will effect the computer display and the engineer that services your area if needed.

If you would like to call us directly and request to speak to me, I would love to get this sorted for you.

Many thanks,
Laura

JTX Strider - X8 and assembly service

In February I purchased the JTX Strider - X8 and took advantage of the assembly service. The assembly service was great and I'm really glad I accepted the recommendation to get it properly installed and assembled. Since then I have been absolutely delighted with the equipment and based on my experience, I would recommend both JTX and the Strider X8.

Well made and enjoyable to use.

The rowing machine is well made and good to use. It has a number of useful adjustments. The display offers plenty of exercise options and provides a fair amount of information. It arrived fairly well assembled, but it still took a while to put together, it’s quite long! It needs two people for assembly, due to the bulk and weight of some parts. The instruction book is good, a few diagrams could do with being a bit bigger. Joining the two halves was a bit fiddly too. Overall very happy, it looks built to last and is quiet and smooth when used.

Brilliant fold-flat treadmill

I was given a choice of a delivery date when ordering my treadmill and it arrived on the day, with no issues. The delivery drivers were lovely and brought it in to the correct room of the house for me. I literally just had to remove all the packaging and plug it in.
The treadmill is exactly what I was looking for - a fold-completely-flat type that i can stack against the wall when I am not using it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how easily it folds and how sturdy it is. Once folded, it is fairly heavy to lift up to stack against the wall, but it is perfectly doable and I just see this as a little extra weight training! There is a safety strap supplied to ensure this cannot fall over accidentally.
As others have said, there does seem to be a tiny bit of give in the belt at very slow walking speeds, but once you are at a slightly faster walk or above, this is not apparent at all. I feel very secure walking and running on it. The incline is great and I am delighted with it.

JTX Sprint 9 Pro - great treadmill & excellent customer service

Really pleased with the JTX Sprint 9 Pro. It arrived quickly, was straightforward to assemble, and feels very solid and well made. It’s a pleasure to use, and I specifically wanted a treadmill that didn’t rely on a subscription or lock me into particular software — this fits the bill perfectly. A nice extra was JTX customer service refunding the difference when it went on offer shortly after I ordered, without any fuss at all. Highly recommended — I’m looking forward to putting plenty of miles into it.

I really like my elliptical 🫡

So, I spent a lot of time researching for elliptical machines and the JTX TRI-FIT 2.0: INCLINE CROSS TRAINER is the one I went for - it's certainly not a cheap purchase hence the research on the product and company before buying.

The buying process was simple as was delivery, it was quick and I was fully informed of the whole process - excellent delivery service 👏they also brought it up stairs for me.

Received the order, it was myself and my partner putting the item together - now the instructions are not great, the pictures seem out dated and the screws / bolt / washers information doesn't seem to match what is on the packet of parts either, so it's a little bit of a guessing game trying to look at the pictures to figure out which washer goes where as they come in different shapes, etc.

Anyway, it took us around 2 hours and some bits when I got used to the elliptical and was noticing noises I re checked the machine / instructions and some parts had been put on wrong (I'll blame the other half for that one) anyway, I fixed those after I got in touch with customer services and they sent me about 4 YouTube videos which I studied greatly to stop the squeaks because they were driving me absolutely insane 😂 it's pretty much all silent now bar the left arm doing a sort of clicking when in motion it seems to be somewhat loose - I've taken apart, put it back together, purchased some new washers just in case to try and also some 3 in one oil specifically for the elliptical but to no avail so, it's still not entirely silent the other arm is fine so I don't really see what I've done different on this arm for the noise to still be there 😭 it stops when I press the arm out so you'd think it would be a tightening issue but I'm just not managing to figure it out. Anyway I'll revisit that when I have the patience.

Customer services is very prompt in replying however, when I contacted them due to a clunking noise and sent a video they just referred me back to the YouTube videos or arranging a visit for the elliptical to be built by a professional at a cost, which is fair enough but it would have been great to have maybe just a conversation first of what they see people potentially struggle with first so I could go back and double check things, I appreciate they have the YouTube videos but just a more personal service considering the cost of the elliptical would have been more appreciated.

All in all though I really enjoy the elliptical, it's a great workout the inclines are really good, the screen is very informative and it also has speakers via aux which is pretty funky! Although not sure if there's a volume for this, I looked at the instructions and couldn't see anything.

All in all, I'm glad I got the elliptical even if the squeaks have tested my patience from user error / instructions.

JTX MoveLight

The frame initially feels more durable than cheaper alternatives. However, it overheated and shut down after just 90 minutes of light use on the second day. I was operating it at a setting of 2.6 (well below the maximum of 6) when I noticed a hot plastic smell, shortly before it powered off unexpectedly. Definitely not worth the price.

Hi Omer,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Movelight treadmill. This is not what we would expect and certainly falls well below the high level of quality we aim to provide.

I can't see that you have approached us directly to address the problem, so if I could please ask you to email us at info@jtxfitness.com with a detailed description of the issue along with, if possible, a video showcasing the circumstance in which the issue occurs, we will be able to accurately diagnose the problem and come back to you with options for a speedy and satisfactory solution.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

JTX trifit cross trainer, probably best in class!

I had a very positive experience with JTX Fitness. Their customer service was extremely helpful, particularly when I ran into some issues during installation. They responded promptly, sent out the required part without any hassle, and genuinely went above and beyond to get me up and running.

That said, the assembly instructions for the JTX TriFit Trainer could definitely be improved. It would be helpful to clearly state that a block and ideally two people are needed to safely lift and attach the legs. The presence of some pre-attached “false legs” also made the process more confusing. There is a video on their website, but it looked quite different from what I encountered, which added to the difficulty.

The machine itself is very smooth and quiet in operation, and feels stable during use. The stride length is generous and adjustable (manual). The incline is also manual rather than automatic, which is worth noting depending on your preference. It also has a well-designed tablet holder that easily accommodates an iPad, an 11-inch device, or even something slightly larger.

It’s also worth noting that the machine requires electricity, so buyers should keep that in mind when planning where to place it.

Overall, excellent support, product, and service from JTX, but clearer assembly guidance would make the experience even better.

I bought a JTX elliptical trainer

I bought a JTX elliptical trainer. We have had two treadmills from JTX but I can no longer run due to plantar fasciitis, the elliptical was recommended as the lowest impact whole body workout (a rowing machine is too boring for me) and I love it! It's definitely building my leg strength back up and it's great being able to exercise at home again. I'm in my 60s and a carer so I struggle to get out of the house, this machine is a godsend. The firm are reliable and the equipment quality is sound. I've used them 3 times now and am happy to recommend them to you!

A great walking treadmill 👍🏻

I love my new walking treadmill. I chose it because it was a best buy on Which?. It is strong, well made and the display board that shows the data regarding my current walk is large and clear, which is important to me. The remote is easy to use and is lightweight and small enough to hold in my hand while walking. The speed goes up to 6km/hrs and it tells you how many steps, the time, the calories burnt, and the distance covered. That's all I need.
I store it up against the wall in dining room and wheel it into the kitchen to use it. It just fits through the doorways.
One thing I would prefer is for there to be smooth handles to hold onto the treadmill when moving it because the feet are uncomfortable to hold such a weight and I can't hold the sides when going through the doorways - not enough space for my fingers.
But I wouldn't change it for a different one because other than that small issue that is probably personal to me, this treadmill is perfect for me.
