I bought a car from the swords garage I noticed after a few days the boot was faulty, I left the car back in at 8am one morning and had it back at 1pm and was then giving a date and time to leave it back to fixed. When I arrived in I qas left waiting on a car then when I finally got a car it broke down as the battery was flat. I was giving me car back and a few weeks later had the same issue with the boot the car is still under warranty trying to arrange it to booked on is nearly impossible so difficult to give a time frame. Very poor costumer service

Disappointing Experience Overall

About 2 weeks ago now, I took a 60km journey to look at a Volvo at the Airside branch. There was no effort to tell me about the features of the car. Sales person looked at mine and said I would receive a phone call (or an email) with a trade in price. I'm still waiting.. very disappointed with the level of apathy and lack of follow up service. Waste of my time, I won't be back.

Swords

North - Took time off work to go look at a car, day before I was due to go and see the car, they sold the car without any contact but went out anyway and did a test drive in another car, was happy to buy it and was doing the deal and was then told that while I was out in the car, the salespersons boss had taken a deposit and the car was gone - a phone call was more important than a person there. (there happened to be a newer car with higher milage and €6000 more expensive that they could offer me.) draw your own conclusions

4 weeks wait time for a service

4 weeks wait time for a service. Kia Dundrum would not even take a booking from me, said they were an engineer down. Engine light on in my car, they said it made no difference, I would still have to wait. Very worried about damaging the engine. Told if I dont go to a non-dealer - even authorised Kia garage, it would invalidate my warranty. Paid over 35k 2 years ago for my car. Shocking customer service...will be selling my car. Avoid buying a Kia!!!

Terrible servicing

Terrible customer service. Paying 6 figures for a jeep to have to wait 6 weeks for it to be seen when there are issues, paying for “courtesy cars” and now there are no diagnostic technicians available when this brand is notorious for electrical faults. When buying a new jeep in 2025 it won’t be from Land Rover especially Joe Duffy as waiting to have your car seen and not having diagnostic technicians available is disgraceful when your paying these prices for cars.

Avoid! No after sales service!

The most unprofessional, shambolic company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with! Traded in my car in July, the new car (2020) was sold to me with errors appearing, these were incidentally present on the day of the test drive but I was told this would be fixed if I went ahead with purchase. Needless to say they weren’t fixed and appeared on the car on the drive home from the dealership! They finally took the car back in October to have their ‘master technician’ fix it as they tried many times to fix it and couldn’t, I wasted many of my Saturdays sitting in their dealership while they tried to sort the issues. They were forced into taking this seriously when I made a complaint to Ford UK who were then in contact with them on a regular basis seeking updates. I eventually received the car back (with a part broken off by them while they had it) in December after 4.5 months of them treating me like an inconvenience, it took the ‘master technician’ 7 weeks to fix!
They couldn’t have cared any less throughout the whole ordeal and always had an excuse at the ready for the constant unreturned calls, usually sickness or annual leave! I caught them out on lie after lie as to the cars whereabouts thanks to the Ford Pass app! I was told 3 times a part was replaced, they never answered my questions as to what part was replaced.
I read the bad reviews before purchasing and I’m sorry I didn’t pay heed to them, please do not put yourself through the stress of dealing with this crowd, they will sell you a car no problem but they have zero skills or interest when it comes to any after sales service or repairs. You will regret dealing with them, trust me! I do. A disgrace of a company, I’ve never had a worse customer ‘service’ experience. Avoid avoid avoid!

Avoid at all costs!

Had a nightmare dealing with this dealer! Brough in the car for software update and got it damaged and staff failed to let me know about the damage, trying to hide it at all costs. First of all I had arranged a collection and they forgot to let me know that the car is not ready for collection and just casually told me that I will be informed when to come to pick up the car. After another couple of days I kept calling and asking about the car, if it's all fine as it takes way too long for a software update, I was assured that car is fine, it just takes longer than expected and they'll contact me once it's ready. After more than a week I received a call to collect the car. Upon collection they didn't tell me again that car was damaged, I just noticed something weird, that it's a thick layer of dust in the car and on the windshield, making it difficult to see through, also glass shards on the dashboard along with some black silicone pieces.
After damaging the car, they replaced the windshield and didn't bother to inform me and didn't attempt to clean the car after. When confronted them, the service manager admitted that the car was damaged, but what's my problem as it's fixed! This shocked me! I enquired CCTV footage from the garage with the moment it was damaged or replaced, and I was refused, saying that car was in a blind spot. Also they refused to provide any proof of work carried out, I'm meant to trust their 'honest' word for it. And that's not finished, noticed that rear sensor has the sound disabled, contacted them to get that fixed, as it was fine prior service, and got the closest appointment - nearly two months, mentioning in the email that the car is under the warranty and I can go to any VW garage to get it fixed. Customer service is awful, Service department is even worse! I would highly recommend to avoid this place at all costs!

SCAM SCAM SCAM

I went to Audi limerick a trusted dealer so I thought with my Audi A6 that had been in a crash. There was damage to the rear bumper and rear L/H lights. My insurance company informed me to go ahead and get an estimate for the damages to my car, therefore I went to Audi limerick and they sent me to a trusted body shop MIDWEST AUTO BODY Roxboro. The estimate for the repair job was valued at about €4000 including a new rear bumper, x2 new L/H, a lower spoiler, some parking sensors and paint and materials valued at €500 with all brand new parts supplied by Audi Limerick. When the body shop called me to say the car was ready after spending 3 days at the shop, I collected my car and was asked to sign a form to say I was happy with the work carried out, I was told by the owner of the shop that a new rear bumper was fitted and painted and a new L/H tail light had been fitted and he was awaiting the arrival on the second light to install. I had a quick look at the car outside in the rain and I couldn’t see anything wrong with the work carried out I was happy until the a few days afterwards. I noticed the bumper wasn’t sitting right and the new light that was installed was scratched and had a screwdriver marking on the side. I went back to the body shop to discuss this with them and they said all new parts were fitted to the car. After I had confronted them about this I asked my son in law who is a ex-car mechanic about this and he told me that the original bumper and parking sensors were still on the car also the tail light that was fitted was either secondhand or just a new lenses on the light as there are scratches on the light housing. We then proceeded to the body shop to confirm that the parts fitted were all new and only then when I was with mechanic was I informed that the back bumper was actually the old bumper still on the car after I had signed for the work carried out on the car and been given a bill for a new bumper and parking sensors. After this he told us that he couldn’t return the bumper as he had ordered the wrong part and it was outside of the 3 day return policy with Audi but he had still billed for the new bumper that was supposedly on the car. When dealing with the Audi Limerick parts department they were unable to resolve nor did they want to take any responsibility for the issues I had with the trusted body shop I was sent to with my vehicle, being the damaged/ secondhand tail light which was installed and being wrongly charged for a new bumper that wasn’t installed on my vehicle.I am very disappointed with the lack of help and assistance from Audi Limerick as I had gone to them with my car and I am not happy with the level of work carried out on my vehicle which has cost over €4000. The attitude In which I was delt with was very unprofessional and I felt that I was in the wrong with my car as both the Audi dealership parts department and the so called trusted body shop we’re putting the blame on each other and there was no communication as to what the solution would be or how it was going to be resolved, all I received from Audi was a signed letter to confirm when the parts were ordered and that the bumper fitted was not the new bumper and that there was scratches to the taillight. After this letter was then taken back from me by manager of Audi center Cathal Byrne and me were then accused of changing the bumper ourselves putting the old bumper back on the car, this is absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

Service is very hit and miss

Service is very hit and miss. They have a large number of franchises but a limited number of technicians for each brand so although their personnel is large they have limited mechanics available. They have my car for a repair under warranty and seem unable to get the part and will now not answer my phone calls unless I contact them on a blocked or different phone number.

BM Dummy

I contacted this company with a view to purchasing a new BMW over the past two weeks. Some twelve calls later I still have not been able to speak to an actual BMW Sales Man. I also did the "email contact thing" and someone was supposed to call me back but unfortunately did not.
just put the phone down once again after being on hold for and age, then back to the receptionist, then put on to the "used car section".
He told me no-one was currently available in the new car section but someone would call me back!
I give up! I don't normally bother doing these reviews and normally let my feet do the talking when it comes to poor service and this really is appalling.
its not a cheap car either, the model I was interested in in circa €100k!!!
My advise is don't bother, buy a Mercedes or something else! Well for these that can afford to lose sales like that and stand around the Showroom gasbagging all day.

Professional.... Caring Staff , Wonderful Experience

I have just bought my first mini from Joe Duffy BMW....Charlestown. Two highly attentive... supportive ...caring employees Audrey and Amanda made my experience wonderful. They are both so professional... but also care about their customer they provided me with help advice and time to purchase the car that was right for me. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership.... ask for these girls for a personal touch.

Shocking....

Shocking service for a main dealership I Purchased a Volkswagen car van. No jack in the boot, no special nuts to change tyre in the event of a puncture. Car stinks of smoke inside. Called today to Finglas branch to collect the items. Guy was busy despite calling ahead and arranging collection over the phone. I was hoping the sensible option was to leave the items with reception and not leave me standing. I Never saw a premises with so many staff walking around doing nothing. Still waiting for the items as I ended up walking out....No idea how they stay in Business.
