Avoid Jetpac!
Really poor service. I bought the jetpac esim to cover 6 weeks in Indonesia but had barely any coverage for the whole time. Set up was problem after problem with very poor support (customer services constantly terminating query due to lack of response within short time frame). No signal or internet for days. Ended up on a hotspot on my partners phone (different provider) or searching for WiFi to make basic comms. I eventually cancelled as soon as the data package was used for an alternative provider, which has been reliable. Just relieved I wasn't travelling alone as the lack of connectivity would have left me in a very awkward position. Avoid at all costs, total waste of money!

Very seamless, actually. So I didn't have to even worry about how to install a SIM. It automatically picked up that I did it before and just used the same SIM. Very much better than Airalo. It is customer service and very economical.

eSIM Setup Issues, Connectivity, and Unexpected Roaming Charges
Setting up the eSIM was not very straightforward, as we repeatedly encountered errors indicating that the SIM was already in use. In addition, the connection speed was not great, which made the overall experience frustrating.
Despite selecting the eSIM for voice, text, and data, we were unexpectedly billed for roaming charges throughout the entire duration. This was disappointing and suggests either a configuration issue or a lack of clarity in how the service operates.

Second time Jetpac-er
This was my second time using Jetpac and I’ve been particularly unlucky both times with connection issues. That said, on both occasions I’ve been assisted promptly and my issue has been resolved immediately. In Indonesia my eSIM hasn’t been activated correctly (my fault for doing this in Australia before departure). Angelika gave me instant assistance that fully resolved my connection problem. Their service is great for support!
