Good customer service experience.
It was extremely helpful of IWeb to have Customer Service available on the Saturday that the 2024-2025 tax year ended, as I had to contact them via webchat to cancel a fund order. Shareen, the representative I dealt with was also as helpful as possible given the unusual circumstances.
As a cautionary note for other investors, IWeb seems to take longer than some other brokers to sell or buy funds. 99% of time this is not an issue as someone investing in funds as opposed to ETFs does not usually care about day-to-day movements. However, in this particular case, given the considerable drop in markets on the 4th of April after the new tariffs I was trying to bank a loss before the end of the tax year.
Nonetheless, overall I am very pleased with IWeb so far.

Fine and I've never had any issues but there system's seem to be in need of modernisation. Constant need to complete forms and not a particularly modern-looking user experience, however, they'll do. They're live chat is always helpful.

Long term happy customer
I've been a customer for over 10 years and very happy with the service. Excellent value for money for larger portfolios (and indeed smaller ones) as there is no annual fee and just a charge per transaction. Great range of investments and fast transactions.

Reasonably happy but could be better
I have copied some of this review from another review as it exactly matches my experience!
Reasonably happy user for some years now - reliable platform, good range of products and very good dealing rates at £5 regardless of trade size.
I think they could improve:
- Dealing prices: I have in the past sought prices on on IWeb and another platform simultaneously for the same trade - when prices offered have differed it has always been IWeb that secured the worse price (particularly regarding stocks listed outside the UK).
- Tax: IWeb could help customers avoid (legitimately) Irish tax on dividends.
- Partial transfers: IWeb's process to make a partial ISA transfer seems rather inefficient.

When selling shares, before funds are available for withdrawal, the trade will need to settle and funds showing as 'available to withdraw' on your account. Settlement is usually 2 working days however some investments can take longer. You can check a trades settlement date by viewing it's contract note through 'Dealing history'.
Once funds are available to withdraw you can request a withdrawal via BACS online. If you would like to arrange same day withdrawal of funds (once they are available) you can do so via telephone. Our contact number can be found through 'Help & Guidance', 'Contact us by phone' while signed into your account.

Good service but not competitive…
Good service but not competitive anymore. Prompt payments in and out the accounts. Have used the service for 10 years now due to no annual charges which at the time was a great and I opened it with £25 account opening fee (didn't see the point of this). However, new players are coming in offering free trading and no annual fees (Iweb still charge £5 per trade). The account opening fee jumped to £200 a couple of years ago and now they have to drop it completely as they probably not getting new customers anymore.
