I love the idea for a toothbrush that's a toy the cat can chew on. I was expecting these to be made of soft silicone material but, when I felt them, they were made of rigid plastic and the spikes felt kind of sharp. My cats were initially curious about them, but they recoiled when they tried to sniff or bite the toy. They are ok batting the toys around, but that doesn't serve the intended purpose. I really wanted to like the dental wand, but I think the design needs improvement. Specifically, I think it should be made of softer material, at least the spikes on the outside.

Swift delivery and brilliant product! This is my second time ordering from inventor cat and I must say the new device is a huge improvement on the last iteration! They have listened to their customer feedback and made it much more sturdy.
Both my cat and my kitten love this - I am getting them used the the harder material using lick e lix treats but they don’t seem to mind and have so far not managed to break it even with the odd cheeky hard bite!

This is a brilliant tool for any cat parent looking to clean their kitties teeth on a convenient, easy and fun way!

I've tried the toothpaste, licky-e- licks, and cat nip. Cat won't touch the wand.

On the positive side, my cat does bite the toy. This happened on the first use :) On the negative side, the opening to pour the (Virbac) toothpaste in, is simply not wide enough. If the toothpaste was liquid this would work. Unfortunately it is not and it is taking me AGES to manage to pour it in. Same with Webbox treats.

Update:
And yes, to reply to your silly question, I did open the toy to squeeze the toothpaste in, even using the wider opening. No one in their right mind would try to fill the toy through the tiny holes 🤣 This said, I have now noticed that the nozzle of the Virbrac toothpaste fits in the wider toy opening, which makes it easier. (Thanks god I bought the toothpaste you recommended!) Unsure if this was indicated somewhere but if not, it might help!
The toy itself is super hard, but I read that the original version is softer. It might be good to offer the option, especially for older cats.
But so far so good hence why I upgraded my experience to 4 stars :)

My cat didn't like the chew stick. Probably the texture as she is twelve years old. She gets her plaque reduction from specialised dry kibble. The only thing she enjoyed was the catnio

I bought this with the goal of making a necessary evil (in my cats eyes), more enjoyable and to encourage him to be able to make his own choice for cooperative care. So far he's happy to play and gently bite, so we're working on getting the bite grip there! It's refreshing to see a product which sees the importance of dental care for cats, whilst also appreciating it's not something many people (or cats) enjoy and actually do! Some fussier cats like my boy may take a while to get used to the texture, but he's already responding to it far better than he ever did with a conventional toothbrush!

If there was an option for a slightly softer 'starter' brush, that may be good to encourage the bite and make the introduction stage easier!

Great quality, great product, but pretty expensive even more in combination with additional customs payments because delivery is from UK

This is an excellent product. My cats took to playing with it straight away.

Cat loves it, arrived when we expected it to and much easier than fighting with him to brush his teeth!

Beryl poor customer service. No telephone numbers etc. Hard to contact re duplicate order etc. Poor communications. I wentbto cat show and the talk said entirely different things to the instruction sent

Item did not arrive. Their email stated Royal Mail but the tracking took me to Evri. I have had an awful experience with Evri before. Awaiting response from Inventorcat.

Thank you for being wonderful and supporting me when my cats tangled up the wire after only one day and providing a replacement. I have purchased extra yellow teeth toys for them to enjoy chewing.

Amazing company and 5star service. Would recommend to anyone with a cat or pet with dental needs.

I'm convinced that these people have gotten quite big quite quickly. I emailed them days ago and have had no reply. I am seriously struggling to even find a phone number and the number I did just call against their address in Basingstoke is a completely different company! I have spoken to a lady there in the past who was very friendly and helpful but reading some of the reviews I think I'll duck

I bought the dental wand for my cat. It was on pre order so there was a bit of a wait. But the company replied promptly to my email and kept me informed. Unfortunately when the wand arrived it was not suitable for my cat and I had to return it. True to their word I was given a refund straight away. Dealing with this company was a pleasure and I wish them every success in what they are doing!

I would never be able to get a brush into my cat's mouth to clean her teeth. Then I saw the Dentol wand advertised, and it looked easy enough so I thought I would give it a go. Well, let me say it was easy enough. I watched the short video and then introduced my cat to it. She loves it. She thinks she is getting a treat and I know I'm helping her teeth. Win-win.

I thought it would be the answer - but no, she wasn't interested. We tried- sorry!

My cat just doesn't care. I got a little sniff and that's it.
It's suuuper hard to squish, I think its probably too hard for my older cat even if he did pay any attention to it.
I followed the videos, added his favourite stinky paste and he just didn't care.
It's a bit of a waste of money sadly and I'll have to go back to the tooth brushing fight.

The packaging is cute enough, it was well wrapped. It did take a really long time to get delivered but I was informed throughout the process.

Great idea but my 2 cats will not go near it!

Ordered 7 weeks ago & so emailed to cancel order - miraculously told it had been dispatched & advised to send back when delivered. Now looking at how to return.
