I always find ii staff very helpful

I always find ii staff very helpful, customer service is excellent. I needed a Bed and ISA transfer completed before the shares went ex dividend, Zeb had it all completed in a timely manner.

Helpful Assistance

Efficient share transfer

I was requesting a share transfer to a family member which used to be a complicated procedure. With the help of Beulah it was made seam free and very efficient. This was very good service and I thank Interactive Investor and Beulah for his assistance which was very much appreciated.

Tried the others, II is best

Transferring-In a SIPP is Glacial

Update on my original review:
A week since my last contact with II they called with an update, which was basically them giving me the same old patronising ’we’re on it and doing our best’. Given their track record to date, that is a very low bar. They now tell me that they are waiting for my old SIPP provider to supply additional information. Information that I suggested to II that they secure 5 weeks ago. They say this will take 10-15 days. Plus 10 days to draw down funds. So 3+ more weeks. Which will total 18+ weeks from day 1. Assuming they even manage to conclude the process by then. During which time I am unable to access my only source of income other than my state pension.
Clueless. Worst, most opaque process I’ve stumbled across in the entire pensions sector, and I’ve seen some stinkers.

I began the transfer of my SIPP from Standard Life to II 14 weeks ago. I was already in drawdown, relying on my SIPP as my only income other than state pension. My SIPP is substantial. I naively thought that consequently it would be of a size that would make II want to retain it. I have had to chase at least twice a week so far and I’m STILL no further forward and none the wiser as to when this transfer will complete. I have a huge medical bill impending for a family member and I now have virtually no cash in my bank account, having missed my last 2 drawdown payments because of II’s lethargy. There is absolutely no sense of urgency and no-one seems to care. My latest call was placed at 4:30pm. By the time the call handler had decided to contact colleagues at 4:50pm to seek help and clarification, they’d gone home. Which just about sums up II. Immediately this farce concludes I will draw down sufficient funds to cover me for the year and transfer out to a competent organisation. And to add insult to injury they have begun charging a £15 per month account fee. Seems they can access my money but I can’t.
I had foolishly begun the transfer of my ISA’s to II from Invest Engine. To date I have experienced the same level of doziness from II, being told repeatedly that my IE ISA account number was incorrect, even though I sent in a screen shot from InvestEngine. I will now be cancelling that transfer-in immediately.
Beyond useless.
