Avoid this electricity company at any cost

In a foolish moment I signed up with Iberdrola.fr for the supply of electricity at a fixed tariff. They reneged on the deal and did nothing . I therefore changed to another company whereupon they muscled in and gave the new company notice terminating their contract and re-instating Iberdrola's contract but at a higher tariff. I changed back to the company I had chosen and closed Iberdrola's but they then pursued me for electricity consumed which was on their initiative .They were slow to respond to questions , and incompetent and made my life a misery with their whingeing and demands and then put my account into the hands of debt collectors . I paid up in the end to get them of my back . Don't touch them with a barge pole .

If I was able they would get minus 5

If I was able they would get minus 5! I began my subscription on line on the 24th September with their offer of 12% discount. They delayed responding for days and when they did they used delying tactics by asking us to supply our PDK, address and our consumption. Again days went past with nothing so on the 4th October I rang them. Tey got someone from their commercial department to telephone me and he started the subscription on the telephone but he tried to give me a higher tarif. I pointed out the tarif should be as advertised and he agreed and sent me our contract to sign. However, he had, what I think was a deliberate act, put the wrong telephone number so there was no way I could finalise the contract as they send you a code by way of SMS. I telephoned an e mailed to ask them to change the telephone number but my calls and mails were ignored. I eventually got to speak with the guy in the commercial department who had telephoned me and he had the cheek to blame me that I hadn't signed and sent back the contract in time because the offer had now been withdrawn and offered me their current offer which was even higher than EDF! I WOULD CERTAINLY ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO SIGN UP WITH THEM AS THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS ETHICS AT ALL
