terrible customer care and service
terrible customer care! I have been a customer for 15 years, have received deliveries of gas to my citerne in every possible season, winter rain, never a problem. Now the tank is empty for 1.5 weeks because the indicator stopped working. I waited 1 week for delivery of gas, it is not possible to get an urgent delivery. I am alone in the forest, any neighbours are far away. I haven't had any hot water since. On the day of planned delivery nobody came. My neighbour saw when the truck finally came, the driver decided to turn back. I called Butagaz and they stated that the driver had told them the driveway to the house was wet, and he didn't want to pass with the truck. There has never been a problem before no matter what weather. Maybe a new driver who has no experience. The driver also didn't call me from the chemin to establish the situation or explain, he simply left. Customers in France don't seem to have rights, there is no system or possibility to speak to the person in charge or a superior. In this case it was also not possible to speak to the person responsible in logistics. I tried for 30 minutes on the phone. One is simply at their mercy, whenever they decide to call, no matter in what dire situation one is. They simply leave long-standing customers to their misery, no matter what the situation. No effort of actual customer care like in other countries is made nor does a customer have any possibility to get effective help or speak to people in charge.
UPDATE
Today is Monday. Friday it was promised that a man from logistics will call. Nothing!!! I called them again and there is nothing they can do, not let me speak with logistics, nor speak to him themselves. Ridiculous! I have a chronic back problem and have pinched a nerve again carrying all the pots of hot water to the bath trying to wash! I cannot believe this company is letting a customer in dire need down so completely. The drive / chemin is completely dry!
