So... credit where is due.

I have the v2 band and pod.
Everything has been high as in good stats, all the metrics really very very accurate for me.

So i decided to test it.
I exceeded the amount of exercise, strain by about 50% over what hume told me. I pushed way over what i should of done. I ate two small bars of chocolate an hour before bed, kept my water intake and sleep exactly the same as normal.

In the morning i only felt a little off in general but as the day progressed i started to feel awful. So tired, so hungry way to early in the day. Really felt awful. Couldn't face the idea of any exercise and i do lots every day.

So i was real excited to see what the pod and band have me at.

My lord! It absolutely Nailed me!
My metabolic capacity dropped over 10 points. My stain for the day dropped by a third. My projected recovery was short for the first time ever.

But.... what really surprised me was the body fat ALL went up half a percent on every body part. Lean mass all dropped equal amounts. Visceral fat jumped from 7 to 9 (all the sugar before bed).

That for me..... is staggering. I'm not used to that kind of detail. The hume pod and band stats for ME are very close to my dexa from a month ago.

I feel the body fat is reported a little less than it should be, maybe just under 1 to 2% and my resting heart rate is way off. Reported at 100 bpm when is actually about 45 bpm.

Im only a month into ownership, but for me the long term overview directions are awesome. If it continues like this i almost.... no longer need to get a dexa scan. But if course i will, to compare properly.

The body fat limb by limb % and muscle imbalance is spot on identical to my dexa.

Maybe I'm lucky. Maybe I'm very average and it gets me.

Believed the Hume marketing hype - and shouldn't have. Bought the band and pod. Hume tech support couldn't even get passed issuing a working 4-digit security code to get either to talk to the app. Without linking to the app the hardware is useless. What else won't work properly? I've no faith in Hume any more and they're stalling now for a product return and a full refund. I've asked and asked for the refund process. Still waiting. Hoping that this review will help get me my money back for products that dont work.

I have seen so many Facebook moans about the band and scale yet my experiences have always been good. The latest was dealing with Claire on chat who like her colleagues before talked me through every query I raised. True it’s complex and documentation limited but always helpful. I enjoy the product without a glitch. I’m not connected at all with the firm - just an end user who decided a positive review might help others have patience and appreciate it’s a long term monitor for trends in health.

Just started using the Hume Pod & Band in my weight loss journey, The additional information provided is excellent & sheds light on my body composition, whilst I try to shed the pounds.

Good quality; however you need to pay if you want all the AI features.

I’m disappointed in how often I have to re-charge it and therefore miss out on a lot of data. The font is so small on the graphs that I can’t read any of the data, so frustrating. I emailed customer service about fixing it and pretty much got a canned answer back. Seriously considering returning. It.

The company responded to me when I had a question promptly. I have the band and the scale and it very motivating to see the scale might not change but my
Body composition is getting better. Sometimes it will give a very inaccurate reading so I redo or focus on a trend

Scale and Band. 30 days on, very pleased with the data. Easy to use.

After reading the reviews and finding out because Google password fizzled I could not set up band. I want my money back.

Leaving Whoop after 5 years. Hume band is the next thing...especially when adding in the Bod Pod Scale. They are open to user suggestions and no subscription!

I bought the Hume band and the Smart Scale so I could get the full experience, its amazing what a couple bits of home and wearable tech can tell you about your body's composition, the whole family have the Hume app and we make daily trips to the scale to see or progress, its encouraging to see the results of our dietary and gym changes, great stuff! :-)

I have both the pod and band. I am pretty satisfied with both. A couple of things I would change has to do with real time data. However I do enjoy the longevity data and suggestions.

Very unhappy! Returned items , taken a month & only received a small amount I am owned. Says Hume UK but they are based in the Philippines although returning item is UK address!! Taken 1 month, 30 or more back & forth emails (some they respond some they don’t) 2hrs on the phone to the bank , Lloyds dispute team are involved trying to get my money!!! I had a minor issue recently and submitted a request for assistance. Rey responded very very promptly. Not only that, Rey resolved the issue and followed up closely to ensure that it was satisfactory. I have no qualms owning products from Hume given this level of support. Well done !

I am totally appreciating the insight that the Hume Band and Hume Pod provide me, I’ve been using them since April of this year. The app is great, information is detailed and lets me know what I need to concentrate on to improve my odds in having a healthy retired life, if I need a recovery day or concentrate on some specific activity to achieve a muscular balance, Sleep tracking is very informative and helpful. Many other features like BP, Cardiac health are also present. I come from a line of fold who live well into their 90’s and 100’s. The thought of living that long has no appeal to me if I am not in great shape and health. These two pieces of tech should assist me in enjoying an extended retirement. The only thing I wish they’d add is an auto-detection feature for activity tracking…

I've been very pleased with the Hume band. It's comfortable to wear and tracks information important to me. I like that there is no monthly fee and it's comfortable to wear. It also keeps charged for an extended period and recharges very quickly.

Love the analytic and interface of the app. Sharing data with doctor really help setup my health plan.

I recently purchased a Hume Pod and realized afterward that I forgot to use the 20% off discount. I emailed support expecting the usual runaround, but Veil replied within a few hours and submitted to the billing team for a refund right away. I was genuinely surprised — most companies don’t make things this easy. Excellent customer service.
