Beautiful quiet location , nothing on the site but a good thing for a chilled out stay, stayed 5 night nights we, went to Bridlington, Whitby , Filey and then on the train for drinks and food , malton is close but better to dive as no pavement as such .the lodge was big and cosy decor & furinture was lovely, the downside was the cleanliness of the lodge when we arrived, bits of food in corners,,cobwebs everywhere inside and out, the throws on the sofa and bed had like dried biscuit on them, the cushions on the beds were as grubby, the hot tub was lovely but only the jets on one side worked , the on suite toilet was constantly running water and was quite noisy when sleeping , ( reported this nothing was done ) the oven omg , doesn’t worry me so much as we prefer to eat out whilst on holiday , it’s that old he time so long to warm up and takes double time to cook anything , ok for us ( just the odd pizza , but for a family on a budget it would be a nightmare , all I can say is to the owner , a few little new things ,,a better cleaner . Sounds like a bad review but it’s not , we would definitely come again, loved it …

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and homely. Very spacious and has a good range of amenities/ utensils.
The site was well maintained and we made use of the on site bar, which had a pleasant beer garden.
Great location for exploring the area. Would recommend Allerthorpe Lakeland Park which is only a five min drive away and has a range of water activities with a nice cafe. Short drive into York and to York Designer Outlet. If you are looking for a beach day, Filey is worth a visit with more of a traditional seaside vibe.
Would absolutely recommend and return.

Just a minor note : no where near enough loo roll provided. Hand soap dispensers not in all bathrooms so take these with you.

It’s was really lovely and in a beautiful setting. The cottage was clear and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

The caravan was lovely, well equipped, clean and tidy and the ‘balcony’ was south facing so we got sun all day!
The hosts were attentive, helping with a WiFi connection issue when we arrived.
It was a great spot for a few days away.

Nice place to all the shops but need to replace batteries in teller remote but would stay there again

Was a lovely lodge couldnt fault it had a faulty cooker but emailed the owners and they had the maintenance guy come out within half an hour ,but the site wasn't for us with 2 boys age 8, 13, they were really bored nothing at all to do, but they did enjoy the hot tub glad we at least had that on a nighttime i did know before we went that there was nothing on site so entirely my fault and it was only a base for us to go to Eden
Camp and Dalby Forest but rained
Quite heavy at Dalby Forest so we were all wet threw so had to go back earlier than was expected I would go there as a couple but not with children but that's just my opinion...Thank you for letting us stay ...

Just returned from Whitby & our second time staying at Turnstone Apartment, a fabulous apartment, clean, modern, very comfortable & a great location to explore Whitby & the surrounding area…. definitely will book again, hopefully a longer stay next time.

The most beautiful stay- absolute insane location. Right on the beach and the town. Was perfect for exploring all of Whitby. The property had comfy beds and all the necessities we can’t wait to come again

Absolutely beautiful place , cabin was immaculate to say dogs are allowed to stay . Fresh bedding , clean , prefect location . Will def be booking again . Thankyou so much Cedar Lodge 🫶

The place was lovely and nice hot tub , they have a lovely pub/restaurant on site which was nice, beds were comfy, as a no smoking inside we seen a burn on carpet as soon you went in, the the cooker hadn't been clean as it was filthy, the house keeping needs to be looked at as sofas under cushions were a mess and pots and pans all greasy. We had a great time minus the house keeping bits it didnt spoil our few days rest from work.

Stayed at Ross’s view apartment from 30th July to 2nd of August. This is a stunning apartment, in an ideal location, five minute walk into the centre of town. While there is no parking, public parking is available at the marina which was £13.10 for 24 hours. We parked up for the 3 days with no issue. From booking to leaving the whole process is seamless. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything you could need. Kitchen is fully equipped, if you’re someone who likes to cook while on holidays (I’m not!!!). We stayed in the basement apartment and it was naturally cool but it also has aircon which is a bonus! This was better than any hotel we could have booked in terms of size, facilities and cost for the 3 nights. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Loved the river beside the garden ( so did our dog). House was clean and well equipped. Would recommend highly.

What a glorious apartment. Had everything we needed, was clean and beautifully decorated throughout.
Was nice and quiet but only a 5 minute walk into the town. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again..🥰

Our stay in Manifold has been fantastic. A magnificent house in a charming village, surrounded by nature and with everything you need to spend a few wonderful days in a very interesting region for hiking, visiting beautiful villages and eating well. We recommend it 100%

A great stay at a great place, our family of 5 enjoyed our week's stay in Martham. The property was fantastic with everything we needed. The local village was beautiful and picturesque with great amenities. Would highly recommend the kebab/pizza shop, The King's Arms pub for a fantastic steak with triple cooked chips and the best fish and chip shop we have ever been to - Taylor's.
Overall we would definitely come back 100%.

Great size house. Used for 1 week with 6 adults, 2 children and a dog. 2 good sized bathrooms and an extra loo downstairs. Kitchen-diner was well equipped and led to small outdoor paved patio with seating. Living room a reasonable size with TV. TVs in all large bedrooms. Excellent location.

Sadly this has been a very poor experience. We made a booking for. June 2027. We were charged the full price for the holiday even though it is so far away. The host was very rude about it too. Then we receive an email telling us they had cancelled the reservation as the property was no longer being managed by them. Fair enough. But then they asked me to cancel via the booking platform booking.con. When asked why I had to cancel no real answer was ever given, booking.com advised me that if I cancelled that I would be charged in full as per the t&cs. I pointed this out to Host & Stay and yet Charlie insisted I had to cancel. I refused. He assured me I would be refunded immediately. I said no you cancel and refund. He refused. Weird. So booking.com stepped in but they can’t refund as payments are direct with host and stay. I am still waiting for my refund, no big deal I know I will get it but it totally changes the dynamic and trust. Do not pay these people. Be wary and NEVER pay by transfer as you have no refund protection. I am not sure why they are being so shady but it’s a warning to us all to never pay anyone unless you have a credit card protection.
