They are scam

I bought sofa and chair on april

And they just disappeared they responded one time on email they said the delivery will take place on june and they disappeared again

Dont buy from them they will just take ur money and ignore

Now over 6 months nothing received no email no one pick up the phone

hi i would advice anybody to stay away from this company i bought a sofabed in october it seemed ok not the comfiest but we needed a sofabed for family or carers looking after my husband the first use of the bed was in june when i was in hospital, one of the metal legs holding up the bed section folded totally under and gouged a hole in my laminate flooring. I managed to get them on the phone once and they said it needed to be returned i emailed them every day for 2 weeks then i got a reply asking for pictures i sent them and again no reply for 6 weeks then i got an email saying the manufacturer said the bed function had been used incorrectly and with great force this was not true and they have never again answered any emails so stay away from this awful company.

I have ordered a sofa on 09.05.2024 - Today is 12.09.2024!
No delivery and no response until now. I will go to legal procedures to get a refund.

I ordered and paid for a sofa bed 16 weeks ago, the estimated delivery time was 8-9 weeks. Now no sofa delivered and no refund done. No answer to emails, texts or calls. Nightmare!

I am completely unsatisfied with my order.
I ordered 2 sofas in april which was paid in full and have received 1 sofa but came damaged and the other hasn’t arrived. I attempted to contact the company and had no response and was ignored aswell as my details and number was clearly blocked by the company. The sofa which did arrive, the delivery men which put the sofa together spoke very little english and did not give me time to check over the sofa before they left. The customer service is appalling and no phone contact or email reply. Considering a lot of other reviews being similar i would not advise anyone to order from this company because they shouldn’t get away with treating their customer satisfaction so poorly.

Scam! Bought sofa in March, trying to contact them , no sofa, no money back, no communication. Just automated msg that their website was hacked. The last communication was over a month ago, they said the sofa was on the border and failed to pass, they were trying to get it through the border few days later. No update since then.

Dishonest entrepreneur. I've been waiting for the sofa for over 12 weeks. No contact with the seller. The new company is called Modern design sofas... I do not recommend it

Bought sofa in March. Paid 30% of amount. Still waiting. They disappeared and didn’t answer any questions. When I asked refund didn’t receive any money. It seems like scam. Avoid this company!

Ordered back in march, paid in full. Still have not got our sofa. Had an email early April to say there was a delay. Nothing since. Noone answers the phone or responds to emails. Sometimes you can get a response from messenger but it's just untruths and fake delivery dates. Absolutely no customer service. Please be aware of this before you buy seeing as we have spent our savings on this sofa and still haven't got a thing for our money

Ordered a sofa in February, we're now in June and still haven't received any of our order. Told it was ready in mid April to be delivered and suddenly for the last 5 weeks they can't answer any communication. Absolute fake reviews made up on trust pilot as well!
Company is registered to a semi-detached house in Glasgow with a loan against the house to try and keep company afloat. Says it all.
Don't be stung like we were. Go elsewhere.

We bought a corner sofa from HMsofas a week ago. I can't get enough of it, it looks even better than in the picture🥰 it's so comfortable that the children stopped sleeping in the rooms. The service was also at the highest level and I had a million questions and doubts :) I really recommend it!

Reflecting on my experience a year after buying the corner sofa to gauge its durability. To begin with, the delivery took longer than anticipated, but that was expected. The sofa's visual appeal is noteworthy, and the inclusion of a pull-out bed adds a convenient touch.

However, there's a downside to it. It's simply not comfortable. The seating feels shallow, giving a constant sensation of slipping down. The pull-out bed is a deal-breaker too – too uncomfortable for any guest to sleep on, even for a night. This discomfort is largely attributed to the unevenness between the pull-out section and the seating area. On a positive note, the material appears to be of decent quality.

In summary, despite the sofa's good looks and practical features, the discomfort, especially with the pull-out bed, makes it a definite no for a repeat order from HM Sofas.

The sofa took a long while to turn up when it did the pull-out was a different colour, and the zips on the cushions were the wrong way around, fast forward 9 months the threads are loose, and nice to look at but not practical, it a £1300 lesson I've learnt, stay away. no one wants a sofa for a year.
