The biggest issue was billing. I signed up believing I was purchasing a monthly subscription, but was instead charged for a full annual plan. Had I realised I was committing to a year's payment upfront, I would never have completed the purchase.
I contacted support immediately after discovering the issue, but my request was declined with a generic reference to their refund policy. The response didn't address my actual concern—that I did not intend to purchase an annual subscription.
I then spent hundreds of credits genuinely evaluating the platform for my business. I followed the official documentation, tutorials, and third-party guides, testing avatars, personas, image generation, image-to-video, and multiple workflows.
After all that testing, I did not produce a single image or video that was usable for publication. Not one.
I understand AI generation is subjective, but after consuming well over half of my monthly credits without a single usable asset, I concluded the platform simply wasn't suitable for professional marketing work.
I even offered a reasonable compromise: refund the annual subscription less the value of the credits I'd already consumed, or convert my purchase to the monthly plan I originally intended. That request was also refused.
The technology shows promise, but the combination of confusing subscription selection, a strict no-exception refund policy, and results that failed to meet even basic commercial expectations has left me very disappointed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend paying for an annual subscription without first trying the platform on a monthly basis

It's a good app but...
It's a good app, don't get me wrong...
What's bad is their unlimited deals.
The unlimited gens take too long and it's 1 at a time.
They totally lost my trust, as their marketing is too aggressive and manipulative. They upsell the plan with the excuse of the unlimited gens, but at the end those unlimited gens are useless and you cannot use them unless you can stare at your laptop 27/7.

On how the mode works, Unlimited generations run through a shared pool, while generations that use credits are given priority in the queue. That is noted on the toggle when you hover over it, and it is what shapes the wait between runs.
Because of that, Unlimited lends best to exploratory work, testing an idea, trying variations of a prompt, or seeing how a particular model handles a subject, where the volume you get to try matters more than the timing of any single run. For anything working to a deadline, generating with credits will move through the queue faster.

Ive been using higgsfield since October…
Ive been using higgsfield since October 2025. For the most its an awesome, since they added the supercomputer, the program makes expensive great videos however, while producing and rendering, it stalls-timeouts. The video rendering sucks up some many credits. I dont if this system will out last others because some projects can't be completed in be of that issue. With all of the money they are making for their country, they need to fix these issue. They also needs a credit reward program as well.

Charged €450 for an annual plan I never knowingly bought — no response for days
I signed up intending to buy a monthly subscription. At checkout the price was presented as a monthly figure. What was actually taken from my card was €450 for a full year, upfront. The annual total was not clearly disclosed before I confirmed payment.
I discovered the charge only when it appeared on my card statement. Within the same day I cancelled the subscription and emailed support requesting a refund. I had used the service exactly once — a single video generation, under 1% of the credits.
I received an automated acknowledgement stating a specialist would respond within 24 hours. That deadline passed. I then received a second template message saying they were experiencing high volume and would reply "as soon as possible" — no date, no case owner, no substantive answer.
The product itself is capable. That is not the issue. The issue is a checkout flow that makes an annual commitment easy to miss, combined with a support process that acknowledges you and then goes silent.
If Higgsfield resolves this and issues the refund, I will update this review to reflect that.

Directional control is Lacking!
It is frustrating that it has taken 3 or more attempts to get right and left profile images. Or really left and right any type of image. The system doesn’t seem to know the difference between right and left! I have used countless credits to get the correct images!! Not good!!

Describing the framing and the camera position you have in mind in concrete terms gives the model considerably more to work with than a brief instruction does.
It is also worth running the same request across a few different models, since each one responds to detailed instructions in a different way, and one may suit this type of shot better than another.
