Mixed bag.

Mixed bag.
For my own medication it has been straight forward. However for months I tried to add my mother-in-law on my app. I did everything I was asked but "computer said no", despite having no problem having my mother-in-law on my Lloyd's pharmacy app. Sadly they closed. I decided to just order my mother-in-law medication via the surgery who sent it to Hey Pharmacy. Latest medication was sent to Hey Pharmacy on 4th March, I called today (12th March) and it is still "being prepared". So yet again I have had to call and cancel the order to release the prescription back so it can be filled by my local pharmacy. I work full time. This is frustratingly difficult for 2026.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, all feedback is important to us.

We’re truly sorry for the delay you experienced; we know how important it is to receive medication on time.

To clarify the timeline, your order was placed on 26/02, but we didn't receive the required prescription from your GP until 02/03. Once we had this authorization, we processed and delivered your order by 07/03.

We generally recommend ordering 7-10 days in advance to allow for these external processing times. Your experience is valuable to us as we look for ways to streamline our service. If you’d like to discuss this further, please reach out to us at help@heypharmacist.co.uk.

Ordered repeat prescription via the app…

Ordered repeat prescription via the app on a Sunday, approved by GP on Monday, dispensed Tuesday, shipped Wednesday and delivered Friday. This is just as quick as using a local pharmacy for repeat prescriptions, but with no travel required for me. Thanks for the improved convenience.

Recommended

I have used Hey Pharmacy for many years and have always been pleased.
It is so easy using the app to reorder my prescription.
I have only had to contact them once and they helped resolve the issue (no fault on their part).
I wold definitely recommend.

It's usually a very easy experience

It's usually a very easy experience. No having to go to the GPs surgery and finding somewhere to park; no time spent going to the pharmacy in town (and parking again). No waiting around to get the meds. If I've ever had a problem it's been sorted quickly and efficiently.

An absolute godsend!!!

Been using for years now. This makes life so much easier having the prescription delivered to my home address. The Reminders are a godsend too as I usually go out of sync and forget when I’m due. Brilliant service please don’t ever stop!!
