Since 1989, we have been providing compassionate, person-centred care at home to individuals across the UK. Our journey started in a small house in Warwickshire, and today, we have over 150 branches across the country. This growth has allowed us to extend our exceptional care and make a bigger difference while allowing our customers to remain in the place they love. Our carers are kind and compassionate individuals who always go the extra mile. They are fully trained to provide the highest level of care, no matter what condition you are living with. We are also recognised for delivering specialist dementia care, a service we have enhanced through our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society. This has allowed us to provide our carers with dementia training to help support our customers living with different types of dementia. Our service is fully regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. We are proud to have received an overall rating of GOOD, and the CIW reported that our carers go “above and beyond, doing things that are ‘not on the list’.

Starting the search for care is not easy, but my concerns disappeared when talking to Louise at Helping Hands. She took time to listen to me and explained the services available and we quickly got an assessment booked to take things further. All fees, terms & conditions were clearly explained.

Sarah was really helpful and answered all of my queries. She’s very quickly arranged a home assessment, and I’m hoping we can find someone suitable for my mother.

They work with Mum to deliver her needs. They're flexible and most of all they're helping Mum retain her independence.
We're very happy.

I found the company to be very reassuring, my initial conversation with Carole filled me with confidence that our bespoke and complex short term arrangements could be catered for. We were visited by Sian from our local team who was equally reassuring. Unfortunately a change in our mums health meant we were unable to take up the support that had been planned but we were extremely satisfied that our needs and requirements would have been met. Thank you

The ladies and the one gentleman are always friendly and helpful to my mum, and I know she is in safe hands. Unlike another company I have tried they are always punctual, which I appreciate as my mum likes a set routine. The odd occasion they will be running late they have telephoned to let my mum know.

Telephone access to the branch manager is simple. She coordinates the care staff who have enabled my sister in law to have more confidence, maintain an orderly house and have a better routine. Elaine has helped out with an extra appointment visit recently. Helping Hands is both professional and very friendly which we as family appreciate. Many thanks

Corrin who was provided by the Wigan branch is patient bubbly and bright. Mum and dad settled with her very quickly - even dad who doesn’t talk to strangers. The great thing is that having the same person each day means mum is remembering her and having company for an hour a day is really beneficial. Can’t recommend helping hands enough. We talked through what was needed and got exactly that.

Very helpful operator on the phone - was able to answer all my questions, provide all relevant information and move rapidly forward to assessment meeting.
Just what we needed in the circumstances.

We are using Helping Hands in Warwickshire for my elderly mother who is at home by herself. We find the carers and the office people to be caring, trustworthy and reliable, and we don’t know where we would be without them. Communication is always clear- we know who is turning up and when, and if there are any issues with Mum’s health, we’re always alerted in good time and if they can help with it, they will. We would highly recommend for your own loved ones, we wouldn’t trust anyone else now.

Very professional carers, who are conscientious and caring. I have been impressed by the quality of care, and the knowledge and understanding of the managers at the local level.

It was easy to set up Helping Hands for my Dads care who lives over 160 miles away from me and he was very pleased with the care he received.

Helping Hands are such a comfort they allow me to work whilst knowing mum is getting the best care. The fact that they can cover unforeseen needs is also a real benefit.
