Genuinely impressed with the quality and size of the plants I received in my order. I think this is the first time I've ordered plants online and been impressed with what turned up. And the plants were dispatched quickly and well packaged. I will be making Grasslands my first port of call going forward!

Ordering the plants was easy, communication was great throughout the whole process. Plants were well protected in the boxes for delivery. Great plants very happy will definitely use again.

Grasslands is my ‘go to’ nursery when I’m looking for a great quality shrub. I have bought many items from here and have always found them to be cheaper and better than other places. Delivery is good too.

Good plants at a reasonable price and well packed

Due to previous great experiences with Grasslands Nursery I ordered again from them , this time 10 Fargesia "Winter Joy". I received them two days later on a pallets saving time and energy to remove superfluous packaging. Compared to bamboo plants on the internet I had bought before from various other sellers, the ones I bought from Grasslands Nursery were by far the best - strong,healthy exactly as shown on the pics - and still at a competive price. Grasslands Nursery will certainly be my first port of call next time I want to order pants again.

Went to Grasslands today, as always lovely pleasant staff, we decided to have a bite to eat in the cafe, I got the special, sliced bagel, two poached eggs, smoked salmon and the freshest ever salad and home made slaw. Visit was very pleasant, prices reasonable. I always feel great in this place because the staff are lovely. Plenty of parking and a wide choice in horticulture. Going back next week with the grandchildren. The staff have a great understanding of peoples needs.

Arrived the next day after my order was dispatched, which was sensibly sent at the beginning of the following week- I had ordered these the week before Mothers Day which I didn't realise till my order was cashed out. However, I didn't need to worry as Grasslands must of thought of this. So my buxus plants arrived fresh and well packaged I bought them to continue the hedge that I previously planted with Gresslands buxus so hoping they will blend in with the previous order.

Beautiful healthy plants, carefully packed. They're quite big and so excellent value. They arrived at the same time as some plants from another seller and the comparison was quite cruel. I'll definitely buy from Grasslands again.

Communication poor (actually quite rude on the telephone).

Delivery snail’s pace (my delivery hasn’t actually arrived yet despite being promised that it was on the way it appears now it’s just being picked again and now it will be delivered next week. We’ll see.)

I won’t be back. There are other companies who don’t repeatedly lie and who appreciate your business.

I bought some hedging and shrubs. All really great quality and reasonably priced everything looks like it's thriving. Easy to find what we wanted all set out really well. Customer service eas great.
We didn't go in but they have a lovely looking cafe and children's play area which looks fab. Will def return and recommend

Ordered 8 large hedges and 3 bags of compost.
Waited in for delivery - no show and a message telling me it had been delivered to an unknown address (gave a picture I didn't recognise) Called customer service and it was left on another street which I would understand however was not even the correct house number.
Very careless causing a lot of mess/debris in my neighbours very prestine garden who also did not accept the delivery but it was left there regardless.

No apology from customer service - only that I would have to wait an additional few days to rectify it. Obviously just had to do rounds with a bad back and place these in a bin to bring to my house.

Careless delivery service.

I ordered 25 cherry laurels 1.2 meter to 1.5 meter in height on 11/03/25 with a 4 to 7 day delivery time. I called the nursery for an update when the laurels failed to show up and was told to expect call with an update. Several days passed with no update so I again called and was told someone would definitely call me back this time which they did confirming the transport manager had promised I would definitely receive my order on Thursday 27/03/2025. No show so called Monday 31/03/2025 no apology just told they are due to be delivered on 03/04/2025. Asked for a refund, I've sourced locally for the same price with option to collect today or have delivered tomorrow. First and last time.
