Placed order online found it a straight forward process.
Placed on a Thursday got acknowledgment of order Friday never heard anything till Tuesday that order was dispatched no tracking or indication of delivery day then for it to turn up when we were out! Ring doorbell saved the day driver waited for us to return! Poor/no communication about delivery times
Ordering process was ok
Ordering process was ok, the main problem was I didn’t get any tracking information. I called a couple of times to check on tracking but didn’t get any meaningful information. On the day it was delivered I called to check tracking again and was told I would get a call back but didn’t get one. Anyway I noticed a large box out in the open in full view at the house over the road, the courier just left it there, I don’t know how long it was there and could easily have been stolen. It’s a heavy box on a pallet and I don’t have a pallet truck so it was difficult to move it, the box shipping weight was 46kg + the pallet.
Not sure why it was delivered to the wrong address and it’s a real shame Granthams couldn’t give me any tracking information. I will think twice when I need to order accessories in future.

Damp caravan and no suitable resolution
I am disappointed to be leaving this review as my experience initially started positively.
In January 2026 I purchased a brand new Bailey Alicanto Porto from Grantham Caravans. Since taking delivery, the caravan has only been used four times and has been returned on multiple occasions due to faults.
Most recently, following concerns regarding water ingress, Grantham’s carried out an inspection and confirmed water ingress through both rear windows, damp and physical water within the bedroom area, together with damp related damage requiring replacement parts.
The caravan is currently only a few months old, yet further investigation and repairs are required, subject to manufacturer authorisation and with a potentially extended wait time due to lack of parts.
I have formally requested to reject the caravan and the matter is now being investigated by the finance company. Grantham’s position is that they wish to proceed with warranty repairs and won’t accept my rejection request.
Whilst staff have generally been polite and previous faults were investigated, I am extremely disappointed that a caravan of this age and value has developed confirmed water ingress and damp-related damage after such limited use and that Grantham think it’s acceptable to offer a repair.
Sink top
Ordered a sink top for our camper and to cover an ikea sink, was warned it may have imperfections but it was fine and fits well.
Was informed of dispatch tracking with evri. Arrived without issue and was packed well. No issues with this order

I would urge anyone considering buying from Grantham's to carry out a very thorough inspection before taking delivery.
I purchased a 23-plate Chausson and, during the approximately four months I owned it, it spent around three months back with the dealer due to serious electrical faults.
When I collected it, the vehicle was sitting in a mud pit. The driver's seatbelt was not attached, every wheel had a missing wheel nut, and the consumer fuse unit had burnt out.
It was eventually replaced with a 2026 Bailey Adamo 75-4DL, but unfortunately this vehicle has also suffered from numerous issues, including:
Earth cables not connected.
Fuses blowing due to wiring in the consumer unit not being properly secured, creating short circuits and a potential fire risk.
Severe squealing noises from above the cab.
Wind noise entering through the habitation roof area.
Bathroom wall panels coming away and visibly bubbling when pressed.
The centre section of the rear U-shaped lounge collapsed while being sat on, causing injury.
I emailed Grantham's to formally reject the vehicle but received no response. Today I was informed by email that, because I had notified the finance company, I now have to deal directly with them rather than Grantham's.
The entire experience has left me extremely disappointed and sickened.
That said, I would like to recognise Andy, one of the managers, who was excellent throughout and appeared to be the only person genuinely trying to help. He deserves credit for his professionalism and efforts.

We placed our order online, which was really simple, and the unit arrived sooner than we expected.
The only thing I feel could have been improved was being advised of a delivery date. As I was at work when the delivery arrived, I had to arrange for someone else to be there to receive it. Admittedly, our order came directly from the supplier rather than Grantham, but delivery information would have been very helpful, especially as I had called to enquire about the delivery date beforehand.

It doesn't give the option for NO stars or I would give no stars. Do not buy a caravan from Granthams. Just to give everyone a heads up. The after sales service is absolutely diabolical. We took ownership of a brand new Coachman Lusso 2 in February. We have been out 4 times in it since. Each time we have had trouble with the water and each time we've rang to complain and got nowhere. Last week whilst on a site the external whale pump wasn't working so had no water to the caravan at all. When we rang them and when they eventually got back to us much later their suggestion was to fill the onboard tank manually which my husband did. After yet another call to them they said could we leave it till Monday and they'd get it sorted. They were aware we were booked again this week for a long holiday. Monday came 4pm went so rang again to be told they've put a warranty claim in but won't be able to book it in till September at the earliest. When you haven't got the basic service I think it is unacceptable to expect us to wait that long. It wasn't a cheap purchase. We have changed all our future bookings to fully serviced pitches to enable us to get water to the caravan so we can actually use it. They are happy to take your money, so to save anyone the same shoddy service I would suggest you find a different dealer to buy your pride and joy.

Very happy with the habitation service today. The process from booking to collecting my motorhome after its service was straight forward and the staff I spoke to were only too happy to help. I would recommend them to any motorhome or camper van owner. 😀
