I have used them for three years and they are easy to use. This year I no longer need them and cancelled the service after seeing a payment of $161 go out of my account. Apparently, even though I will not be using the service this tax year they won't refund me because I was on the autopay option. What a joke!
Be VERY CAREFUL when you chose this company. DONT do anything on autopay. They will take your money and not care.

As UK non-resident, I found GoSimpleTax is very easy to use to file UK income and UK residential property rental income. However, I found that to file UK non-resident SA108 CGT of UK residential rental property with GoSimpleTax is very confusing. I spent many hours via their online e-mail tax support to file UK NRCGT. I also found that HMRC gov.uk notes on NRCGT are cryptic and equally confusing related to SA108 form boxes 52.1 through 52.5, specifically if your NRCGT is negative. My recommendation is that GoSimpleTax should provide their support via telephone appointment or online screen sharing if the issue is not resolved after multiple e-mails. In addition, GoSimpleTax should assign a same person to respond to e-Mail tax query rather then different person for a same e-mail query.

As usual, easy to use and good values for money.
Validation was new this year and I did have difficulties uploading my passport.

They lead you through the complexities and provide support when needed - excellent service.

Successful submission Tax Return!.
I’m not terribly computer literate for this day and age, but the Coco AI and human staff online chat were most helpful in my making the transition to MTD, and I thus was successful in submitting my tax return today with all my figures correctly appearing. I look forward to continuing with GoSimpleTax and Coconut for future HMRC submissions. Thoroughly recommend!

Process, Follow up and suggested Amendment process system in an effort to correct period date errors, bringing the submission inline with factory with in the actual year in question is excellent

Very simple to use and on the whole clear guidance. Some more help needed for sole traders. GoSimpleTax said no errors found but still got bounced back from HMRC and took some time to work it out

I have a rolling subscription and was encountering problems, however, it was sorted the day I posted my review after waiting 4/5 days....so my update is....
I give 4 stars now and not five, as your sight seemed to have a lot of glitches this year. Also, any help emails I sent took days before they were acknowledged. I'd never had that type of delay before, and it was quite stressing. My tax return has now been submitted.

I'd like to add, I was pleased when I pressed compleat, and a warning came up to tell me something wasn't right with my tax return. When I checked, I'd ticked a wrong box. So, thank you.

I will be renewing my subscription next year, as this was the first year I've ever encountered these problems. Best regards.

I have been using GoSimpleTax services to submit my tax return from last 3 years now. It’s easy to use, no clusters, easy layout and clear with figures updating immediately.

The only negative side is the cost have gone up. Well at least I find it more. To get it half price, you have to Which? Member.

Easy to use but needs to remind the team to transfer previous years to current year. The transfer should be automatic

Easy, user friendly, fast & accurate… May I add reasonable cost as well.
